For the last few weeks I have been trying to get my strenght as high as I possible could. I was thinking yesterday how I haven't gotten a new max hit since 4 or 5 strenght levels, and on acurate on my skymmy I still cant hit 17. This got me thinking... Am I stupid? I should just train attack until I get it resonably high and then train strenght until I get a new max hit while using attack, then train attack for a few more levels. Attack does make you hit more often, so it would only make my strenght training go faster. For exapmple, Right now I have 78 strenght and max 17 with a rune skymmy on aggresive. When I use my accurate, I can only hit 16. My next max hit with aggressive will be at 84 and my next max hit with accurate will be at 87. Wouldn't it make more sence for me to train attack to 84 first, train to 84 strenght next, train until 87 strength, the train to 90+ attack?? correct me if I'm wrong here, but I'm starting to think that training my strenght first was just a waste of time...

Probably, the best you can do are the level 27 minotaurs or the hobgoblins. I don't personally kill hobgoblins, but I think that you can find them to the west of the Crafting Guild or near the entrance to the Hill Giant dungeon under edgeville. Once you feel confident enough, do Dragon Slayer and buy the D'hide body. Train your range to 60+ at lesser demons, and then buy addy arrows and go train at cockaroache soldiers. After about 70 range, switch to using mithril arrows. You will usually steal the drops from most of the level 70's and 80's that train there, using them as a safespot. It won't be great experience, but the money you make from drops there will help you pay for prayer.

Emerald rings were originally my idea so you can thank me =p. They are actually pretty good xp and since there used to make rings of dueling in members, they sell pretty fast. Use the furnace in al kharid, take 13 gold bars, 13 emeralds, and a ring mould. Happy crafting.

I dont think you should spend so much time on another account other then your main. I made a pure too, but im not getting him past 53 or 54 combat since the time I spend training him I could be getting much more xp on my main. It is your choice thought, the account you train is up to you, if you are really serious about making this tank, do it if you want. Btw, you would beat the guy with 90 strength because you can protect from meele making hit 30% less, eagle eye could make you hit 15% more often, and steel skin will make you get hit 15% less, so in total you will have a 60% advantage on him. At 45 prayer with the 3 prayers i talked about, it wud drain in 45 seconds, with protect item about about 41 seconds. If you do all these prayers, i would recomend 60+ prayer, but that is really expensive in f2p. Buying 3.5k big bones cost me 1.2-1.3m just to go 51-55. good luck with your tank. (Btw, im not entierly sure on the way that prayer works, so correct me if I'm wrong.

You should possibly consider raising your defence well past 60 and get 45 prayer to be an effective tank, the +15 bonuses really [wagon] up and the protection spells are useful. You also only need 59 magic as that is the level needed for the best spell. About the range, yguy is right, you should aim for 70 if not 77. Dont worry, as long as your magic/range is higher then your attack and strenght together then they will not affect your combat, but prayer/defence/range/mage/hp will. For the quest, you should either mage it with your best spell or use a bronze/phenix crossbow with bronze bolta (lol!) because you can use the shield with the crossbow.

OK, about two years ago I started a skiller named ace_legend5. I trained his woodcutting to about 70 something when i got decided to make the account "monk" like (lol). I got him to about 35 or 36 prayer and to 26 defence. When my main account was hacked about 2 yesrs ago, i used that account to try to get my friend to give me my account back and i said "plz give me the pass" in a pm to my main. He told me i was reported and sure enought, I was banned. Immediatly I tried to appeal the ban, but jagex said that I didn't have a good enought excuse for saying that and denied my appeal. A few days ago I remembered about it and tried to look him up in the high scores. He didn't appear there, so my first reaction was that the account was deleted and that I could do nothing about it. Would jagex even care if I sent in a forgotten password report? Even if they did undelete it, would I have a chance of appealing it? I hope I can get it back because I was planning on making it a mage/range/defence/prayer tank for bounty hunter or the new PvP worlds. I know that I had a few hundred K's on that account, so it would save me a lot of time trying to make money to raise my magic. Does anyone know what I should do?

you dont have very many options as a f2p player (neither did I), but i will list a few.. Ranging Lesser Demons under Karamja (do not go during peak hours or you will never get a kill) Go to the second floor of the black nights fortress (bronze med helm and iron chain required) and range the five knights nearest to the altar. Tank at flesh crawlers Range Ice Giants (Same as Lessers) and Ice Warriors (one of them drops mith and addy arrows but i forgot which) Tank at Minataurs (iron arrows) or zombies (steel) The way I trained to 70 range was with bronze arrows and I didnt bother to pick them up. Another thing you should consider is maybe using a bronze/phenix crossbow, this method is a bit slower, but the bronze bolts cost 2 each compared to 6 each for bronze. The upside to the crossbow is that you can wear a shield, making tanking easier and more afkable, (lol is that a word?) but no f2p shields (I think) provide a range boost so this might make training even slower. Wow, my first long awnser at tip.it, I guess i was really bored..

I dunno if this has been done/said before, but would using Curse/other reduction spells help agains it? It might only be 5%, but 5% of this monster might be equivilean to a 20% from another monster meaning faster kills? I'd try this out but I'm f2p so whatever

ice warriors near port sarim can drop 3 mith and 2-5 addy arrows....

ummmm it took me in between 3 and 4 hours to make 1.5k so it would take you about...7 hours for 3k and about 12 hours for 5k

1519 emerald rings and 4 ruby rings(randoms) got me from 56-60. tip.it skill planner said 3k rings would get you to 59 and 5k would get you to 63.

wow, im actually being influential lol. anyways, do it in al kharid im pretty sure its the closest furnace to bank in f2p. If you get bored of the senery then you could try it out in falador but its a few squares farther....

well, thanks for the help guys, but i played around in the grand exchange and found out a way that is decent xp and actually makes a litle profit \. I just finished buying what I'll need, but I won't tell cause the profit is actually not that bad for me so I'll tell when I'm done. =P~

I am looking for a way to get my crafting up to 60+ and none of the mothods I tried are doing boring or slow xp. I tried mining silver in the crafting guild, teleing to fali and making tiaras, but thats really boring. I tried killing cows and making hardleather bodies in the crafting guild, but thats slow xp. I tried making bowls in the crafting guild, but thats slow xp AND its boring. Anyone got any ideas on what to do? I have 3mil on this account, but I'm only willing to spend a couple hundred K's training it. I heard about making sapphire rings, but I don't know if I should sell the rings in the g.e., alc them, or enchant. Help? Btw, my crafting is lvl 56 atm.

my guess is that its just a chain. A few years back they had a picture on the hiscores page of a runite rock with a red pickaxe on it and people went crazy saying it was a dragon pickaxe. Look at where that got us #-o

For f2p theres not really much diversity in the thing you can buy. I just got to 3mil cash last week, all earned in f2p, and it was a really great achievement for me (lol i went to lumbride and i said free 3m and 40 something noobs traded on me :D ). If not, do what the other people say and buy yourself a few smithing/firmaking/prayer/crafting levels, or just buy a lot of addy arrows and range the hell out of lessers. Anyways, goodluck :roll:

a couple months ago i made this account to test out the new lumbride tutorial, hence the name, and decided to make it to a pure. My stats are: 40 Attack 40 Health 42 Strenght 1 Defence 40 Range 1 Prayer 32 Magic 36 Combat Im new at the pure making thing, and I have 54k to spend on this account. My planned stats are: 40 Attack ?? Health 60 Strenght 1 Defence 60 Range 1 Prayer 32 Magic ?? Combat Any Suggestions?

ok, I am 90 combat and my skills are: 70 attack 78 strenght 70 defence 67 range 50 prayer 57 magic 74 health Any advice on what I should do? I'm planning on training my strenght to mid/high 80's and my range to at least 75. I have about 3 mil to spend, but since im f2p and I already have full rune I don't think I have to worry about spending it. Thx for the help guys. Edit: Woot 78 str!!

I was fishing lobs in karmja to kill the lessers there when a lvl 34 started following me and called me a noob. He said his main was 110 cb and cud kick my a**. he logged off and came with a lvl 11 saying he owns me. Lol?

lol I made an account to try out the new lumbridge tutorial, named it matrixtest. lol hes now a lvl 31 pure=) lol I made an account called ace chi lee when i first started i thought was cool=) too bad he got hacked

if he bought the air rune at 14 gp on the ge and alched it and got 10gp, he wud loose 4 coins on just the rune.If you add that to the cost of the rune, it will be 200+ coins lost. Duh. :thumbsup:
