  1. Yeah, why doesn't Jagex understand statistics? Everyone knows 85% means you can't fail. It means there's a small chance it will fail. Of course it would when I've been waiting for the mission for 5 or more days.
  2. Failed my last story mission ever at 85%... -.- wtf Jagex
  3. Hosted a livestream lasting about 4 hours. Visited a lot of the map, not everything but here's the video if anyone who doesn't have access wants to see it. |^_^|

  5. Sucks. :/ Was planning on livestreaming it. Guess I'll have to post an announcement later today once it opens saying I cant.
  6. Yes, how benevolent of Jagex to only ask for 900 hours for one requirement for a trim on one item in the whole damn game? Are they not merciful? And those ridiculously unreasonable critics, how dare they suggest that Jagex not ask players to piss away hundreds of hours of on bullshit! They are just whiners, I tell you -- they will never be pleased with anything! Nobody said you had to do it. It's there for those who want to overachieve. The cape's examine speaks for itself. I spent a little over a year doing castle wars for the 5000 games requirement. If you're going for the requirement, you'll find a way to do it as fast as possible. The 2000 odd games you need now is way easier.
  7. Except that 120 dungeoneering/104m xp takes less than half the time (less than a quarter if you win 50%, less than a tenth with challenges, but that's a stretch), you get rewards, you get combat and skill xp, and your winning or losing doesn't have to depend on others? I don't think it's fair that Castle Wars gets a huge requirement when hybrid isn't required, or the full set of Soul Wars pets, or a large Trouble Brewing requirement. Let's give every big pvp minigame a 1000 hour requirement, that'll make the cape truly out of reach of ordinary players >.>. @Rainy: the reduction is less than 20% for legit players, for boosters it's bigger, 55% or so. That's not really fair, but that's the way it is. It's still a reduction though and there are plenty of people who form groups and work together to pull the wins in themed worlds. It boosts the incentive to take part in the game instead of just loafing which so many had a problem with. I'd love to see more insane requirements like the ones you listed as well. The cape has no benefits and should be worn by those who are really dedicated to completing everything.
  8. And here I thought people would generally be happy about them over halving the requirement time... Can never be pleased I guess.
  9. Looks cool. :)
  10. Cool, happy the 100k mark was made. I checked it earlier yesterday and it was at 97k so was crossing my fingers. :P
  11. Still no sign of any trio voyages. =.= Wth Jagex
  12. I'll be honest and say I only thought there was one trio mission for each storyline, so 2 in total. So dissapointed when I found out I'm still missing 6 and haven't seen one yet. No luck today either. :uhh:
  13. Make your icons either Mammoth Skull - Stocks - Prayer symbol or Human skull - Whale trophy - Occult artefact and hope for the best. Took me still 2 weeks to get and finish all 6. Alright, will do. Cheers.
  14. Any tips on getting the two trio story missions? Been a week now and still haven't had any of them. Only thing I need for trimmed comp so it's really painful not finding them in my special voyages. >.<
  15. It happened to the majority of people with Gold membership, if not all of them. I assumed as much, it was more rhetorical than anything. Have Jagex stated why? Happened to me as well. Noticed today and thought it lasted out the year. O_o
  16. But we've more or less proven that it's the only thing Jagex listens to, and it's a hell of a double standard when one group is encouraged to do it (By way of a "poll") and another is ignored (at best). It has the potential to be listened to. If it guaranteed they would listen, I wouldn't have to x out an annoying green goblin shouting "Yaaaay" everytime I log in. Crying and having a fit may work in some cases, but not in other cases. Just like not crying and not having a fit works in some cases, and doesn't in others. I find it silly and slightly disappointing that people feel they have to do it to get Jagex's attention, even if it's the only way to do so. Not giving players all the blame, Jagex are nowhere near perfect when it comes to listening. My above comment still stands though.
  17. To me that sounded like "My little brother screamed and acted out when he didn't get what he wanted, when he wanted it. That's why I'm doing it as well." Just because someone else acts like a child, doesn't mean others can't take the high road. Or the people who wholeheartedly don't care (me) or those who aren't active in a community where speculation without facts is what really happened. I had this week off, and the update I got to immerse myself in was the bestiary. You don't see me going on a wild rampage of rage. Sure, Jagex could be lying and I remember how much rage i fueled back when SoF went microtransaction-based, but I guess I don't care what Jagex say anymore. I just enjoy what they produce, whenever that may be released.
  18. So it wasn't ready. Deal with it. I mean, I'm a huge fan of quests. Quests are my favorite thing in Runescape. I'm a huge lore junkie as well, and this quest has gotten me really psyched up. But really, if it wasn't ready, it wasn't ready. Whining about it won't get it released sooner. Sure, its annoying, but it's still coming out. They obviously planned it for next week, but due to last minute mess-ups and glitches, it wasn't ready. Nobody really knows if that's because of 2007scape, which I doubt, but one extra week isn't that much longer to wait. Chill out on the 2007 servers for a while, read up on your god lore and get ready for it the next week. |^_^|
  19. If it's really laggy, try hitting the "1" key. That turns off the dynamic shadows. Increased my fps by a lot.
  20. I like where this month is going.
  21. Cool? There is likely a better word to describe these people... Patient people.
  22. Happy Birthday! Been a long run I must say.
  23. Guess you could see it as an early bird bonus for trying content as soon as it's released. :P
  24. I was wondering what happened to them. Guess they're coming out on Wednesday.
  25. I was going to update mine, but I feel the later ones (Post-EoC in general) fits more in with the 2013 picture. :P
