I made the Barrow's yep. 1:1 Scale. It was a map that had a redstone loop going to randomize both the open crypt and reward room doors. I mixed it with SuperSlopes to get diagonal blocks and CustomNPC's to get fightable Barrows Brothers. Also, requesting capes for this mod. :P

No more randoms....? ... .... ..... OMG THANK YOU! - On a side note, I miss the Quest-themed holiday events. These are way too simplistic and repetitive. "Run around and look for x of this object." If anything, this event is more or less a remake of the Easter event as that too was run around and find x chicks.

I remember you posting this a while back. Must say I really like it and will have to try it out. |^_^|

I have been getting into drawing recently with my newly purchased Bamboo drawing board. I'd like to draw pictures for future stories I share, but I understand that the background video could get distracting. In the past I've had a blank screen when nothing relevant was being shown, but funny enough people didn't like that either. :P Also would be a little weird for me to post a story on soundcloud where I have no account or followers, compared to on youtube where I have many who keep up with my progress. The fuzz has to do with my crappy microphone and the mic input on my laptop. Happy to say I ordered a Blue Yeti USB mic on Sunday and got it today in the mail, so my fuzz-days are over. |^_^| I'm certain I will get over it. Partyhats are only a small part of my favorite outfit collection so finding a new head-slot item for a while should be no problem at all.

Not to mention it could have the potential (depending on how it works) to ruin Castle Wars for people trying to play. A lot more so than the loafers are.

Trying to get the event to move on so letting as many people as possible know what happened so I don't get questions about it in the future. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kqf6MeRi2GE

Amazing. :o

Like J35u5, let me loaf in peace. :P The requirement is ridiculous, so I blame Jagex for the amount of loafing going on.

I totally get your concern. Ultimately if you feel safer not setting them, then that's you're choice and I do understand your reasons. But if you do follow all the above guidelines, use impossible to guess answers, and encrypt them, then realistically no one should ever have access to them. The only way someone would is if you get a keylogger so someone figures out your 1Password master password, AND they manage to steal your actual data file. Hmm true. On the other hand if I only stored it there and couldn't remember it myself, I'd lose all the answers if my harddrive were to crash. Decisions...

What's Mine is Yours/Goblin Flashmob [17 October 2012 update]
Den replied to Kaur's topic in General Discussion
Those tasks just kept going on forever. Finally finished them all. :P -
Hasn't in the past and there is no statement on it doubling tokens, so I doubt it will.

Ok, so I have a problem. I like the idea of JAG and all, but I really dislike the not being able to change the passwords. If someone were to find out the passwords somehow, they would know them forever. Jagex's advice on this question was "Don't let people see the passwords." but that doesn't even answer the question as by asking this I assume someone HAS seen them. I wan't to use JAG, but that part puts me off from using it.

New Crew Leader: Xena Dragon

Congrats. :) -
That's been pointed out more times than I can remember. The point which was trying to be made was that by doing summoning on this weekend instead of other skills, you save more time than other skills. Let me try explaining it as it still doesn't seem to have been understood fully. I save up 20k charms and use them on this weekend. Using 5k an hour I can use them up in 4 hours and save a ton of time collecting the charms from the "Doubled" experience. The difference between summoning and money using herblore as an example here, is that money is tradable. I don't have to camp a monster for 100 hours to get 4 hours worth of training (assuming 200 charms per hour) if doing herblore. I could be a rich gambling host or clan leader making over 100M an hour. I could get a ton of cash within a few hours at the Duel Arena. Gaining a large amount of cash fast is much easier than gaining a lot of charms fast. That is one of the arguments against doubled summoning exp. How is the fact that a tiny percentage of players can make 100m+/h while 0% of players can make 3k+ charms per hour a meaningful difference? Imo, summoning is in more or less actually in the same boat as herblore to the vast majority of players. Prayer if 2x exp stacks with altars/ecto, which Jagex never really made clear... Even if you count in a gain of 2m per hour so you can pay off herblore supplies, you also have to do this for summoning. Shards and seconds aren't free. I'll give it a last shot before I give up. If I spend 4 hours and use 20k charms, I save 20k charms as well as the time I would've needed to gather them. Lets say using those charms costs 200m in supplies and shards. That's 100 hours saved for charm collecting and 100 hours saved making the 200m needed. If I spend 4 hours doing herblore on the weekend, I would use like 30-50m in supplies as long as we're not working with torstols. That's 25 hours of having to gain money saved and 4 hours of doing herblore saved. So per hour doing summoning you save more time than herblore. If I used 4 hours training summoning than switch over to herblore, I would save more time than someone who only trained herblore the entire weekend.

Gathering charms isn't a flaw in summoning, it's there to balance out the high exp-per-hour rate while training the skill itself. Boosting this rate by as much as this weekend does isn't a good move balance-wise. There's a reason you have to collect charms, and this weekend shows why they have that system implemented. I don't understand people who think removing the balancing on a skill is a good idea.

When I checked on Monday, it said expected Wednesday. Pretty sure they always had it planned for Wednesday this week. :P

Devoted12 Coming Back to Runescape!

Your that one mod thingummyguy. Welcome back. |^_^| -
The effects are similar to a draught, but with two different types of events effecting it. Would a draught that lasts a week be more detrimental to the market and consumets than one that lasted six weeks? That's what the community faces. They want to play the game without extortionist prices being hiked up by the community. With those prices players would feel the constricting forces of the market forcing them to gather for themselves or do something else. You could probably suffer and do agility or something up until the bxpw or after for a week, but generally all of the nonbuyables would drive you crazy. Now imagine having to go through those thought processes and decisions over a six week period. I'm not talking six weeks, I'm talking six months. If they told us months ago prices would be even worse. It balances out eventually. Would they? I don't see how. Having prices be a complete mess for two months because of panic buying and selling seems worse than giving people half a year to slowly gather what they want to use during the weekend. Be that through buying or gathering. Please explain how it would be worse.
-
I'm not annoyed about Jagex introducing this in any way. I'm annoyed at Jagex for telling people to not prepare for this, then suddenly announce it right before it's about to happen. Just messes up a lot of prices. A lot more so than if they hadn't told people to not stock up for something like this.
-
I prefer the old method. :P Would be intense for the first 5-7 hours then relax for the rest. Going to be an all out exp-fest for this one.
-
I'm considering the 48 hour challenge. If bonus exp wasn't given, I wouldn't even slightly consider it. The previous method of 10 hours total with 1,1 for longer didn't encourage unhealthy gameplay. This method does. Jagex have no responsibility for people staying up for 48, but by giving double the normal rate for 48 hours Jagex IS encouraging players to stay on as much as possible. This will without a doubt have a bigger impact than previous BXPW assuming the rate is static throughout the 48 hours and not dynamic like previous ones.

Maybe they all moved to Lumbridge. That place always seems crowded on F2P.
-
Because people are greedy. It's funny though when so many people decide to hoard and then end up breaking even or losing since so many other hoarders are trying to sell as well.

Hasnt it been dead since the GE was released in 2008?
