And not a shit was given that day. It's disappointing and unfortunate that they have time to make completely new and polished animations if you buy them, yet have the old and ugly normal ones in game without caring about them.

Whenever I've missed a day, they never carried over. I did log in those days as well, so that doesn't make a difference.

Do Goliath's have their stun/stat drain effect in the beta, or are they just a tier 80 crush weapon? Didn't test them in combat when I logged in earlier and going off for a bit.

Not that I know anything about regular T&C's, but wouldn't it be possible to just add a line saying they have the right to sue anyone who breaks it by doing X (selling Jagex property for personal gain in this example).

Very big update and it does look like they have been busy. The new ability book is no joke, A LOT more user friendly. It's a ton better now as no scrolling is needed. It's just like how the ingame spellbook is but with bigger icons, so utilizes the space a lot better. For some reason, I had to complete Carnillean Rising again to wear my comp cape, but I didn't mind. Said I hadn't finished that quest. Momentum is very nice for times you don't want to pay full attention. Still encourages the use of abilities which is good. Overall my favorite update this month alongside the penguin quest, and probably will stay my favorite this month.

Nice going. Also happy news about them adding a free-to-play highscores soon. Good to see them doing something right in between all the BUY SPINS AND SOLOMON STUFF advertisements.

A challenge for those who want a challenge Next thing you know, people will be harassing high levels for buying their way to the top. Like "lol u botted ur skills" wasn't enough. Let the dedicated people be the best at the game, not the people who spend the most money. There are enough games like that already. There's a difference between ranting about a recent Squeal update and ranting about the SoF as a whole, though. Based on the little bit I've seen here, I get the feeling that our OP did the latter, and didn't take it well when the mods did their job. But then, I'm a bit cynical regarding people claiming to be innocent about that sort of thing (With reason - It doesn't work in your favor if the first thing you do after a ban is join a different site and complain about the mod). True, I can't speak for the OP's post or thread. I see legitimate threads I read earlier this week in Recent Updates in Rants now though, which I don't think is really fair. Jagex post SoF News in Recent Updates, why aren't players allowed to discuss it there?

I'm not sure if the odds for hitting a specific slot change, though. So if they add an item to the rare slots, it won't make rare items any more common. In that case, the research is pointless for an entirely different reason: it's been done. If you're talking about specific items, then yeah, no point because it changes by the week. Thing is nobody knows if they tweak the rates slightly every week for the slots or if new items affect the slots in any way.

I realize why they were locked, but I don't agree with their reason. If they don't want people to post SoF-related constructive criticism in recent updates, they shouldn't update that crap every week. [/2cents] Like what has been said though, ranting here won't make a difference.

No offence, but I agree with Ren. The pro's of doing "research" on SoF are largly outweighed by the cons. Namely Jagex using those players to justify the SoF as "good content". I would like to know how many rares were hit in 450 spins, but really even that is subject to change on a weekly basis. Doing research on rates of something that changes every week seems pointless.

The junk sells for more on the GE than Jagex gives in SoF cash-out. (Even with the current double pay-out) Got a Dragon Ceremonial Hat after waiting ages since my last one. It would've converted for 200k. The 300 orts thing is going to be a true pain unless they're common. They drop underneath you while you skill and I haven't seen any yet. Sounds like a flop update to me so far.

Only time that's happened to me has been Solomon's Store, and it's been like that for me since it was released. All other pages work like normal.

Yeah, autoattacks do pretty good damage, and you can manage without abilities if you really want. But of course you can also level to 99 woodcut with oak trees... sooo... Hey, there's an afk method for most skills, right? :P Now there is one for combat as well.

Defensive abilities are hardly needed in most situations. Of course abilities will make something speed up, but doing things like slayer will still be ok to do without abilities. That is what Jagex are aiming for as far as I know at the moment.

After trying it out, Akrisae is by far the most difficult indeed. Styleswitching isn't the problem, it's the ability bar lag. Also, dualweilding two different classes should be done for Akrisae, or switch weaponry but have your worn gear mixed. Should make things easier.

Not sure if it's been patched or not, but there was a bug where one (not sure if it has to be a new account or if it works with older ones) could change their name to any name, even taken ones. I don't know a lot of details about it, but I've seen someone do it. I could dig up a video on it I saw if people are interested enough. It shouldn't be too difficult to find on Youtube anyway. Zezima is a Pmod as far as I remember, and the glitch doesn't add crowns next to ones name.
