  1. Baby Aquanite. <3: Also lol'd at their SoF plug-in. Can't remember the last time SoF wasn't included in something they did.
  2. As of this post, there are 1,6m members. (1'648'553 to be exact) 8 dollars per member: 13'188'424 dollars. 2% would be 32971 people spending 50 dollars on spins in one month. Seems rather high, but that comes out to 1,6m profit so 10% more profit. I don't know really. I guess it is 10% (assuming the numbers are correct) more than they would have had, but at the cost of annoying a large amount of players. I'd rather not think about it. I see it as a waste of money. :P
  3. I build a full bar in less than a minute. Basic abilities don't require adrenaline to use, only treshold and ultimate abilities require adrenaline. Chaotics have always required Dungeoneering to use. I don't see your point. :P Tok-Haar-Kal requires completion of the Kiln to obtain, but no direct level requirements. Jagex want people to test weapons, not the best weapons. If people can't access the higher tier weapons to test, they can test the lower ones. Many people have 80+ Dung so I doubt chaotics will get under-tested.
  4. Agreed. Great quest. I'm happy they managed to pull of the update i was looking forward to the most this month. |^_^|
  5. I guess they're just having fun. I'd understand better if I didn't have access and would probably be mad or annoyed about it as well. I heard they were working on a way to prevent it and besides, you'll have access this weekend. :)
  6. At that point, the update probably isn't meant for you (No offense). You have more points that you'd ever need and can finish tasks extremely quickly without help  Yeah, that's why I'm not really into it. If they add in a few rewards i might do it for those, but not an update I'm especially looking forward to. :P
  7. My Dragon cere rate is 1/160, but I've had a Fish Mask Rare Item as well so I guess my rate should be around 1/80.
  8. Your example can work both ways though. Obviously you would be going as fast as possible if soloing, but why would you want to share a task that takes 20 minutes and gains you 25k experience just so you can move on to the next task that could give much less. The above example is good, but I'd block/skip slower tasks instead of doing them. Again, I think what will decide the update is how they implement the points to work. Duo points will have to be separate from normal points unless Smoking Kills is a requirement for social slayer. This also means the rewards will be different. I don't think players will be able to team up after starting a task (e.g. killing at least 1 of their task monster). Has anyone thought of the usage to this update? I mea what if you were someone stick on a LRC task, but had the points to cancel it, but couldn't block it either. Suppose you want to save the points to buy some of the rewards for a bit of side cash. Yet now you are stuck between the two. But now with this update you have something of a middle ground where you can finish the task with a friend, but only get about half the xp for duoing the task. I think you all should be looking at the concept rather than the skill efficiency xp-wise. True, the update will have uses like that. I look at it from my perspective though. I have 7600 Slayer Points while also having bought all rewards from the shop. Another thing I mentioned earlier is if they will tie in the current point system with the duo-task points, which i don't think they will. I do look forward to seeing how they implement it, but from my current understanding of it, I would've never used it. I'm open for them to change my mind depending on how the system works.
  9. Liked it a lot. The way you build it up at the start was really cool. Also got a slight 8-bit feeling in the middle. Overall, very nice. |^_^|

  11. First event will be Castle Wars. To get the first costume item, you have to complete one game.
  12. So you would do two tasks that net you 20k and 10k slayer exp instead of one task that nets you 40k slayer exp? The update lives up to it's name. It IS Social Slayer. It's good for people who need or want to slay with others. I will however stick to normal slayer where the exp rates are better and I can talk to people through pm or friend/clan chat. It all comes down to how good the benefits of the reward shop will be. Can the extra points you gain through more tasks be used to make up for the loss of experience.
  13. More content than last month for sure, but not much that seems interesting to me. :( New Ceril Quest I'm looking forward to. Love quest updates. Social slayer seems ok IF you dislike the task you're doing or are doing slower tasks that give less exp. The only thing duoing atually does is complete tasks faster. If the task gives good exp, you wouldn't want it to finish faster. 10 year vet cape - Cant use it, don't care. Gielinor Games sounds meh. I'll wait until it's released to give my full opinion on it. 200m accounts thing I look forward to see what they have planned. Beta events should be ok. SOF: Yelp can take himself and his bad excuse for an update and crawl into a hole somewhere.
  14. Think it means it targets a specific spot. Attacks that can be dodged basically. Not 100% sure though.
  15. Want to share a few? I still need the master rc gloves and hat. :P
  16. Even the cape? Seems unlikely going by the looks of it. Besides, the set has 6 parts and there are only 4 items being given out.
  17. Lol. Biweekly sof update as expected. Still as pointless as ever.
  18. If Runescape was down for a day, I would be playing a different game. If all games vanished... well, I would probably be watching tv and slacking off. Hard to say. :P
  19. I can make Runescape look epic compared to that game. Video editing is all about what the maker wants to point people's focus on in the video. No offense, but that video is as sad as the ones that were made back in the day when Runescape gameplay was compared to WoW's gameplay. I like how they are addressing many issues I've been wondering about. Looking forward to seeing the full patch notes for the next update.
  20. She's fine with you using it. The above made me laugh. :P
  21. This. I've had plenty of people with 12+ months of membership complain about not getting in when they had access all along. They just never got an email, and neither did I. unlike them, I tried logging into the beta on the first day instead of raging about not getting an email. I was on the beta 4 minutes before the system update that marked the launch was over. Been on the beta every day since it's release and I love it. I wish they would add the character models into the current game along with sheathing weapons and the running. i love the running. (At least from the pov behind your character.) The costume events will be starting next weekend. Probably because everyone gets access.
  22. All they really need to do to fix the low lifepoint issue when using armor is: If you open your bank, your lifepoints are filled all the way up. If you start a dungeon, you start with full lifepoints. If playing a minigame, you are fully healed once the minigame starts. This removes the overpowered issues while also fixing the problem.
  23. Have been posting videos every day since the release. Tried Glacors, which notably are twice as high combat as Jad. Combat levels are really screwed currently. Just finished uploading my pking in torva video. Mic quality drops a little in this video for some reason. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSZTbB1RUWM
  24. My fight caves video is up. I expect people to do it much faster. Video is 55 minutes long, but you can skip a lot by using the annotations. |^_^| http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4Qs2C6fAeI
