  1. As someone who had to kill over 32k hobgoblins to get a champion scroll, I like the hybrid system to be implemented. :p
  2. So when exactly did whole Jagex get lobotomized?
  3. The better heal passive is actually quite good. :)
  4. I can only think of one thing with this update. MYYYYYYY CABBAGESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. They released a few videos about the back story of Gielinor about a year or so, but it only mentioned 3 Elder Gods. Also other quests have been hinting at Elder Gods for a while now, but we didn't know the exact number. is about the Elder gods. This one is a cartoon about the creation of Gielinor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB88piitm9o. There are only 5 Elder Gods, known for over a year, confirmed with FOTG.
  6. Well, that's more lines than he got in ROTM anyway. :p
  7. I think I'll take some kegs of beer with me, maybe I get lost then!
  8. Never got lost since the Phoenix got added. Count me in the very unlucky group. :p
  9. Why does everybody always forgets the Chaos Elemental hint from the Card Game? Zaros will use the Catalyst to become a T1 god.
  10. Ladybugs are the oddest creatures, if there is ONE thing that terrifies my sister, it are those pesky red-black insects. The sad thing is, at home her room gets infested with ladybugs every spring, no other room has that. Even now, in her dorm at university, her room is swarmed with ladybugs, the rooms next to her aren't. I have been collecting over 500 shells of dead ladybugs last semester alone from her room, as she herself is too terrified to touch/remove them.
  11. I don't get the thing with Master Capes, there are only about 7000 capes to be claimed in total at this moment (excluding Dungeoneering), why is such a large amount of the community going apeshit to get those? :s
  12. Yessssss, I know, but to anyone except Seren (and the player) these names are confusing and non-logical. :p The Mahjarrat knew no effect of rejuvenation from the ritual while on Freneskae, so why use that name?
  13. On Freneskae, the Ritual of Enervation gave them enough energy to be able to procreate. Chances are that drawing energy from Mah (whilst enervating her) was all they needed to keep themselves rejuvenated. They had no need to purposely seek energy on Freneskae to keep themselves rejuvenated, unlike on Gielinor where they have to perform the ritual. This might also explain why they can't procreate on Gielinor, because there isn't a large enough energy source for them to tap into to create another Mahjarrat. Or it is because there is only a single female remaining and she refuses to mate with anyone but Zamorak..... Can't exactly mate when there aren't any females to mate with. Actually, I forgot that Palkeera gave birth to Khazard on Gielinor. Whoops The names of the rituals focused on their effects on Mah. All this time I assumed that it was called the Ritual of Rejuvenation to refer to the Mahjarrat being rejuvenated, but with the lore reveals this week and last, it's now apparent that they were named as such (by Seren?) for their effects on Mother Mah. The Ritual of Rejuvenation ended her nightmares by rejuvenating her through the release of energy from Mahjarrat sacrifice, while the Ritual of Enervation stopped earthquakes by draining her energy and using it for Mahjarrat procreation. The naming of the ritual was very very clever :( I still can't get over it. Yes it's clever, but I still find it odd, only Seren knew the real purpose of the rituals, wouldn't there be a single Mahjarrat thinking "hey, why are we calling it a Rejuvination Ritual? We are just killing someone of our kind to appease Mother Mah/the mountain." I'd think they'd change the name to something more fitting through the info they got about the ritual, like 'The Tithe'.
  14. On Freneskae, the Ritual of Enervation gave them enough energy to be able to procreate. Hmmmm, Khazard did get born here... :P I don't know, I'd call it very odd if it'd be this way, as the the names of the rituals could better be exchanged for each other then, getting rejuvenated during the Enervation Ritual sound weird. @Rena: Yeah... So far I got myself. It's more the implications that they didn't gain any energy themselves during rejuvination rituals on Freneskae. (Also, there were two ways to write Freneskrae for years, it seems they've dropped the second "r" with this quest :o).
  15. The only thing I don't understand is: if it drawed energy only to Mah, where they all skeletonlike and very powerless on Freneskrae? Here on Gielinor they get their powers and skin back when they absorb the energy of a dead Mahjarrat, this couldn't have happened on Freneskrae. :s
  16. In a stream, Mod Osborne already mentioned that the Stone of Jas is not an egg of any sort. Also true, but then again, he said it'd be an interesting concept he hadn't thought about. :p At that point he COULD have decided it would fit. :p
  17. Hmm, the only part I personally don't believe is the last part about the Catalyst. As it was used during the making of the planes, I doubt it would be an egg they drew power off, would weaken the baby inside it. :p During the quest Zaros says at the scattered Egg in the Elder Halls that it LOOKS like something we know, because the Catalyst is designed after the egg. I'd say it's just a watermark for Jas' creations, the fact they look alike.
  18. Sliske says, truthfully, postquest that he acted on his own, when killing Guthix. Zaros says in the quest he'd like to band up with Guthix, as their motives were alike.
  19. LMFAO I love it when my predictions come true... :D Like the fact that the mountains ARE the Elders, just as I said the first time Elders where mentioned. Me a happy Dexter.
  20. Oooooohhhh! Explains a lot. XD
  21. I have yet to find these divine fishing locations. :s
  22. I'm already maxed, I intend to "comp" just after I finish the quest. If Zaros DOES return, my name Arisen Zaros gives that little extra bit. :p
  23. Well, as teleports go through the fabric of the Abyss, normally we would be able to teleport. As we can teleport from the goblin world and Kethsi, it further proves this, or it's just because of Jagex coding.
