God, I dislike NIS and EOC al lot, I mean A LOT. But no way I'm voting for Legacy Mode, it would become way too imbalanced to incorporate both modes into the game. They've laid a foundation with EOC, which they are now improving. Let them work on that and perfect it so it works for most people. Jagex is really getting desperate. :s

Some said a Tuskan invasion would start at those locations, where we have to close the portals to stop the invasion. Oh well, we'll hear about it from Mark soon. :p

That's not the reason at all, Ring_World. The current level 200 says nothing about your power at all, it only factors 2 combat skills, where there are 8 skills. The old level system at least made an effort to show you those levels.

I have a fully updated slayer helm with all stuff on it, and recoulered, I can remove the color, change the color and so on, nothing happened. QA actually looked at it, it seems.

...You're criticizing the update because the interface is too well-designed?Well to be honest they could have had a little more play added for voters. It wouldnt have been bad to have a discussion forum for current player polls. Then on that forum a topic pinned specifically for players to voice their opinion on update priorities. Jmods could then put up secondary poll options based on common player interests on the poll discussion topic. So for example if players picked elf city then they would be prompted to pick what style is most appealing (which is based on what's most discussed by players on the forum): receiving the elf city geared with guild like places or a more grandeure quest. What it boils down to is emphesis on the development (quest or the city) itself and not just the fork in the road choice of content development priority. You do know there is a button on the polling system which takes you to the Power to the Player forum where the threads about every subject are? Also, we will get other polls on how we want to influence the update.

I think it's just we want to know the lore. It's like Harry Potter, you know Voldemort will die, but you are already waiting ages and ages and you just want the writer to finish up to know HOW. You can replace Harry Potter with A Song of Ice and Fire if you want.

Ok, checked again, apparenty Mod Chris L is NOT working on the Elf stuff right now, it was just some confusing rambling on a tipsite which made people, including me, assume he was working on it. He still is the Elf curator though. Sorry for the confusion here. :s

Same reason everyone and their mother gets to see Guthix killed or gets to know about every powerful being and object through quests like TWW and MPD. :/ Jagex wants to make 6th age stuff as accessible as possible, so their stories are "easier to follow". But all it leaves behind is a mess...

DownToFletch: Mourning Ends Part 3 :) Although, some mod today said it might be a small, other quest, he wasn't sure about it, but more info will follow the coming week. He also said that at least a part of the city would be accessible to ALL players, so I fear now the Elf quests (and the rebirth of the city) will be considered 5th age, with now an accessible city in the sixth age. I'm not pleased with that, we deserve to know what happens to our longest quest chain. Dylan was the previous Elf curator too. :p Ash is known for everything related to the Wise Old Man and My Arm, besides being one of the oldest players and mods of the game, next to being a good lad to players.

Mod Chris L is the Elf curator and is very busy with the development already. He bases most of the stuff on Mod Dylan's notes (he invented all the Elf stuff apart from the last quest, which was Chris L's work). So the quality of the quest and city isn't something I'm worried about, if they give him an large enough competent team. But he won't work on the skill if that gets the vote, I guess most of the team will hop over to that project then. Also, yesterday a mod said ingame that it'll be MEP3, to gain access to the city, but also a story within the city itself.

Instead they could balance 2H so it doesn't suck compared to DW? :p

Also, they promised Invention WILL be released this year (after all the other promises with earlier release dates), but from how Mod Dean words it, only one of the two updates will come out in 2014. :/

With only six months to develop a huge area with skilling and subskill-elements (crystal chanting), combined with a quest that I'd like to see Grandmaster (MEP3) and graphics that should be astonishing, I really fear for rush. Look at how long it took to develop BotD and how lackluster it was. A quest like TWW took over a year, now we have half of it. I can only hope they will allocate a huge team to it so it will evolve into content we actually like and will use.
