  1. Yeah, is it normal to not get a single food item through a hard dungeon? Aside from the starting room, of course.
  2. The fact no Solomon outfit was made for this quest also gives us insight in how unimportant this quest seemed for Jagex.
  3. Is there any way to know which floors you've already done on hard mode?
  4. The concept art of the floating island is from the Rite of Passage quest, it's one of the Armadyllian Fortresses. :)
  5. God, I love Missing Presumed Death already, just look at it: the Zarosian Faction facing the Zamorakian Faction (including Kril in the far right), while Sliskian Wights stand in front of a grand gate in an awesome looking city/fortress, while Icthlarin marches towards them. :D
  6. Didn't enjoy the quest, storywise the quest fell flat. We need to raise bridges to get the Black Guard army to the other side, we raise those bridges, no army ever seen. Not even an army of the Red Axe, who did nothing but retreat, which is kinda odd, knowing how they acted previously. The Red Axe outpost was said to be hidden, yet Veldaban instantly heads off to it, where we find a cope-paste of the Consortium (odd broken doors included). The end felt very rushed in story, but also the last cutscene... Just take a look at the animation of that rope the dwarves use... I don't deem this quest grandmaster worthy, which is a shame, because I liked the Dwarven Saga a lot. A thing I missed too was a "THE END" sign. Anyone remember when you started the Dwarf Series, you got a nice overview of the city, with the name of the quest then appearing? Well, it would have been a nice touch if we got the same at the end. Oh well, apart from the nice looking dwarfs and the awesome Imcando lore and pickaxe, this quest didn't offer us much. Guess the graphics of Keldagrim will never be touched... EDIT: A friend of mine got a nice surprise at the end. :p [hide] [/hide]
  7. As the elves had a settlement in what is now known as Lumbridge, there could be some hidden power of Seren left. :p
  8. Yeah, mod Ramen said it got changed to the teleport, because of the many issues. :)
  9. Yeah, the citadels are abandoned remains of Armadyls followers, probably the Aviantese. Anyhow, I know someone who went to Jagex HQ some time ago, and he drops some cryptic stuff now and then about the things they told him. :)
  10. That concept art of the floating city with some kind of "ship" on it isn't POP. I have some info that it would have some connections to the Aviansie Homeworld. :)
  11. On the topic to change my inventory to a smaller box, well, then I have a black, useless space in my screen, and my character on the loadout screen vanishes if I make the box smaller. So the "fix" would give me a suboptimal setup, for my gaming purposes. Jagex just should revert (or add an option) to the last NIS-update, where I could have the 7*4 inventory. As someone who goes through a lot of chats, yes, that [press enter] is very annoying. And indeed, I'm stubborn and I don't like to change stuff which worked well enough for me. And the thing we have now just doesn't work for me. I like my chatbox at the bottom, I like to have my inventory to the right, with a minimap above it. I like it this way, and playing in other setups, which I tried, made things even more confusing for me. I've played for 9 years in the same setup, and now I have a busy life and the NIS, which was completely useless to me, forced me to use something I have to adapt to, while it doesn't offer the same advantages the old system had. And I find that tough, very tough. I like a clean and simple setup, with everything nice and tide put away, without forcing me through dropdown menus, popup screens and so on. I don't have the time anymore to adapt to it and connect to the game. And that saddens me, because I like Gielinor, I like its stories and quests and especially my character, in which I've put a lot of work. I know I sound like a whining veteran, and I probably am one, but I have a great passion for this game. And I don't like these updates that are forced upon me, surely when you see how many bugs are still in it, yet so few fixes are happening. I don't want this to become a deep discussion about how I should adapt and so on, I just gave my two cents. I just really don't like the NIS, and so does a lot of the nostalgiascapers, which most of my ingame friends appeared to be, as most of them quit after it. So yeah, I feel lonely in Gielinor.
  12. Divination and BoL flopped because it was nothing more than a grindfest at its finest.
  13. Yes I rebuild the old interface we had since like 2004, because it worked for me. And this just doesn't. I want my "stones" at the top and bottom of my inventory back, prayers that react as quickly as they used to (now I have a 50% chance I can turn on my prayer it seems) and most of it all: GOD GIVE ME 7 ROWS OF 4 ITEMS BACK IN OUR INTERFACE, instead of 5*5+3... I've adapted to the NIS, but to be honest, I hate every piece of it, especially those 8 buttons which give a dropdown box whenever you're near it, causing you to open some random "adventure log" or something, while you were just trying to eat a rocktail. And let's not forget the [type here to enter], while I never use any shortcut key or something, it shouldn't be there in such occasion. And overhead prayers of Nex, Astea and probably other monsters who got hidden in a small box in NPC information, which reacts way too slow, causing much deaths at the Icy Prison. Also, when banking, every row in the bank which is at the same height as the chat box, when you try to remove an item from that row, you click through the whole banking interface and change the chatbox settings.
  14. So you mean that by giving solo players finally a way to get more than 60k exp/h without having to play with obnoxious fools, they ruined a skill?
  15. The only thing making this month super is Breaking Bad coming to its conclusion.
  16. It's written off... And this week will probably something SOF/Solomon moneygrabbing or some fixes.
  17. Once again, Jagex knows a way to piss me off... So we actually get one update this month? Dungeoneering tasks? That's it? And don't start about the loyalty store, it was supposed to come in august and lacks anything content-wise.
  18. Don't forget how messy the tutorial is, even for people who play this game. And with the NIS which is very hard to work with.
  19. I don't know when you played, but surely, most were bots. In the past 9 years, I saw bots at every spot. Now, this is no longer the case, luckily. But we can't deny that most worlds are empty, too empty.
  20. Yeah, Mod Osborne said no adventurer had died in Gielinor. Yet. Well say hi to Sliske and his devious tricks with Death...
  21. Sorry to interupt your little convo about weapons and terrible game design, but I have some more stuff for upcoming updates. :p Seems like we need to take "Death" literally for Missing Presumed Death. :p Sneaky Sliske, first killing Guthix and now abducting his Guardians.
  22. I'm so happy that I won't have to kill thousands and thousands of chickens or similar. :s The Bulldog challenge was already so competitive...
  23. About my last post, it's an update that will never be released, the Hubris thingy, sadly. :c
  24. Mod Benjy is working on something special. :s Seems like a lot of textures from various places are brought together. Can't really piece it together... Seems like the ganodermic/fungal creatures of the Polypore cave are becoming a threat. :p Especially if you are known with the concept of hubris. :p Meanwhile, mod Chris L is working on the Barrows Deluxe. He also is reusing some stuff (notice the Ascension floor). Yeah, that are the BODIES of the Barrows brothers, held in the air by some electrical magic stuff. Supposedly, it's team-content for high levels, comparable to Vorago.
