  1. [hide]Hmmm, I really hope the Wiki will have all conversations, as I haven't heard Saradomin say anything about the Naragi or his mortal life, could anyone tell some more details while we wait on the Wiki-folks? :)[/hide]
  2. Okay, just finished the quest. Have been busy on it for 3 hours to find every detail. :P I simply adored this quest, lots of lore, a great compelling story, you actually care for your actions. The environment and the music were intense, especially during the final fight. I really like Mod Stu's job here. Must be the best piece of content RuneScape has seen the past few years, quality wise.
  3. Oh come on! NOW they change the exp and all the droprates? Did three weeks maxing out every day on the tears, gotten the 6000 metal fragments, all the titles, all the weapon parts and a developing carpal tunnel...
  4. Yeab, but now, they are both 6% from 50%, that will only get smaller. While the gap may increase in absolute terms, in relative terms, they are growing closer and closer, so I do hope Jagex will have the balls to not decide that Saradomin is the winner because of a winning margin of 1% or something and suddenly can blast Zamorak aside.
  5. Most people I've heard say that the winner of the battle will go a tier up in godhood (tier 2, the same power as Zaros and Guthix had) and the loser will go down one (tier 4, where Bandos (who was tier 3 till The Chosen Commander) and Armadyl sit). As it now stands, it's 44% against 56%, Zamorak is slowly increasing everyday, I really hope for a draw actually. Sadly, Osborne has made two possible cutscenes, so probably just Sara wins-version and Zammy wins-version. :s
  6. Especially now the camera moves in such an odd arc, when looking horinzontally your camera is miles from your character, when looking vertically, your camera is like a meter away from the character... It isn't handy when you are in small areas like dungeoneering. :s
  7. As the new pickaxe gets some extra effects, it probably can't get added to the toolbelt, as it would be the same case as the Adze.
  8. I don't think it's that bad, it keeps the price of dragon pickaxes high and removes them out of the economy. :)
  9. It are 4 pieces you have to put on a gilded dragon pickaxe, sorry. :)
  10. Aside from the new graphics and particles, there will be new effects to the pickaxe, Dardan told.
  11. V O R K, the reason why a lot of the RuneScape population views PVPers as scum because most of them were constantly claiming that they were the most important aspect of the game and entitled everything to themselves. They were the vocal minority complaining every day on RSOF since 2007, and because of that, I do understand that a lot of people can't stand the PVPers.
  12. No one wants to relearn combat. You need combat for most aspects of the game. I have many friends who have quit in the past because of controversial updates and always eventually come back. But EoC is different, they do come back and try runescape out and find it unplayable. Where as old controversial updates like restricted trade didn't have that affect on them. It's not that different, I momentum everything. Besides actually using magic and ranged weaponry instead of just meleeing everything, nothing really changed. I do agree PVP changed, but as I've never been a PVPer, it didn't affect me. I too had to adapt, and I too felt the EOC and the NIS were forced upon me, and I hated it. But I learned to live with it and change my way of playing. If you are a nonPVPer, chances are most likely that anyone can adapt, as I am VERY stubborn and even I adapted. :) I do agree that the implementation of the EOC could have been better, a lot better. We are about a year further and there still are tweaks, some that change everything on a large scale. Also, I know that it is very hard for a new player to cope with the game. There is just TOO MUCH thrown at you when starting a new character, even when you are a veteran player. I tried it with a new F2P-pure, you simply run in too many different things, which makes everything confusing.
  13. I still don't get the fuzz about the EOC, sure, it has it flaws, and sure, I like the old system more. But is it really that bad? I adapted to the situation, just as I learned to work with the NIS. I'm a very stubborn oldschooler with enormous pink nostalgia glasses, but I really enjoy the game now, and I guess that without these updates, RuneScape's life would end very soon.
  14. Was a fun event, even though Zilyana wasn't willing to give us her goodies. :)
  15. I will come, might be a bit later because of dinner. :)
  16. Really liked the vid, the quest seems very promising. Also, did anyone read the headlines during the news? :P Were some nice spoofs in there. :P
  17. I still don't get the fuzz about that quest. Back when the quest came out, the RSOF exploded with rage about global warming being a hoax. :s Even IF it is a hoax IRL (which it isn't), ingame it caused the melting of the ice on Ice Mountain.
  18. YES THANK GOD! This really makes me happy as there were rather nice clothes in that shop, but due to the large influx of items into my bank, I just had to store them into my POH. :)
  19. Indeed, I would love some thiefs in action, but hey, it's the year were we get to decide... Thank you community, of which most just get their rewards and don't give a shit about the consequences, I really appreciate you! Also, I find it baffling to call Varrock neutral, as the main advisor of the King is a Saradominist and the whole city has eradicated the Zamorakians, who now have to hide underground or in the slums.
  20. Yes they are. :) No wonder Osborne is so happy. :P
  21. Ana and Osborne are a couple and very passionate about their work. I don't think she will leave anytime soon. :P Not now, after she has made TWW and Divination, along with a lot of other projects. Osborne himself is working on 10 projects now, as he is the narrative designer. :P
  22. I got some more tidbits from a fellow of a dutch fansite. :) -Zaros will probably be brought back to Gielinor through quest content (although I've heard in some other interview the player could decide if Zaros would succeed) -Tuksa will get a bigh piece of content and she's female -Brassica Prime, once a joke, is now a real god, although they haven't yet decided to add content about him -We will see a lot about Armadyl, who apparentely is male -Seren is one of the more powerfull gods, higher than Bandos or Armadyl -Elemental Workshop: as said above me, only the story is developed, no quests in production -Kara-meir will get more involved in future content -We might see something like God Bloodlines (I think they were talking about romances, Osborne admitted he shouldn't have revealed that) -The second skill coming out will advance us into the sixth age, as some on these forums expected -The underworld gods will get some attention (I think this is a nod to Missing: Presumed Death) -Kharsai will feature in an upcoming quest -All Elder Gods are female -The orb of the Staff of Armadyl isn't the "power" piece, so the real elder weapon part is the stave itself -Confirmation that the Stone of Jas is the strongest elder artifact -TokHaar will return, JalYt! -The body of Guthix that is being constructed in the Ascension Dungeon will probably feature in future content -The Stone of Jas will return -The player will never reach god hood, sadly -Elder artifacts can be broken and mended (look at Skargaroth's Sword, which may be repaired soon) -Lumbridge will change a lot after the first world event (like there could be a Zamorakian/Saradominist fortress constructed in the woods) -Elder Artifacts can be resized to be as big as a planet or to fit into an amoebe -Dragonkin storyline will be as large as the Mahjarrat storyline (I guess the series that started with Jhallan) -Ana has plans for Darkmeyer, but nothing yet decided -Godless may try to destroy an Elder Artifact -The Mahjarrat will see an update about how their hierarchy is and who is related to who -Mod Nancy left Jagex, so the Penguin Storyline has been moved to Mod Raven, who has some plans ready -Drakan is after the Stone of Jas (seems like he wasn't after the blood altar after all...) -The Dungeoneering F61 finale WILL come, we already know that Moia survived, but there's still enough story to tell
  23. If you look at the crafting interface, it seems like normal mining/woodcutting/fishing resources are potential creations. On another interface it had an Uncut Emerald as one. Seems like one of my previous theories, that the logistics changes would be Divine Energy being transmutated into Logs/Fish/Ore is potentially correct. :D If you look at what skills we use in the Crater of Lumbrdige, it actually makes a lot sense. :P
  24. Oooooh, called it! It will restore Gielinor! :D I really love the concept of the skill, seems like a nice AFK skill with lots of potential uses. :)
  25. Have you tried getting the shards? Well, it is very intensive, fighting over some rare shards.
