  1. I think I've read about 2 patch notes ago Jagex finally added the limbs to the sharing system.
  2. Yeah, the Saradominist troops found it at the cave of Fiara during the 3rd age, hence the Saradomin markers on the walls. :P
  3. This is happening to me and a lot of friends too, in the main game even! Mostly it works again after refreshing the game and logging back in. It also seems to affect certain game worlds more than others.
  4. Oddly enough he does seem to kill me more often the past week. Maybe the strength of his normal attacks has been upped, because I never died to him before.
  5. I'm so pleased that they are holding back HTML5! On the NIS: I wish I could choose if my ability bar maximes into the upward section. My HP-bar is now sitting on chat, with minimalised ability bar. When I open the ability bar, my HP bar moves up and stays there stuck. That is someting they really should look into. :s
  6. Our brain has various systems to "view" an image or screen. The images we observe are measured against the "critical flicker fusion frequency", which makes our view as fluent as possible. For actual "looking" at something, the maximum we can get is 60 Hz. This is why computer displays operate at this rate. However, some other parts of the brain (like the "danger"-center) can handle frequencies much higher. This is why we can get exhausted from watching a computerscreen all day, our head has to make up for the missing views, which costs enormous energy. So to be fair, for our actual viewing, 60 Hz is the best, but a bit more is better for our brain. :) I hope my explanation makes a bit sense (I'm studying medicine).
  7. I like the upper one, sadly it's about a centimeter or 2 bigger than my gaming screen, thanks though. :) I'll try to work something about so I can get my game screen as big as yours. :) (The problem is that I work with a medical database, when I make that screen a bit smaller, it changes into a horrendous thing, but I'll take a look if I can't find something to solve that. :P)
  8. I've already told, if I use resizeable, my screen is about the same width, so it doesn't change my problems at all, those two bars will still be in the way and all the convenient buttons we have now are being tucked away at different places.
  9. The disconnects are a bit older actually, I keep on dcing every 15 minutes since mid june.
  10. When I use resizeable at the size I use my screen for, it's about a centimeter bigger than fixed, BUT it gives me a chatbox I can click through (which I hate) and a dropdown menu for the other tabs (which I also dislike). So fixed is the optimal choice for me. Within a week I'll have to play with a suboptimal game setting, don't you guys believe this feels kinda forced on me?
  11. Indeed, I miss the orange abyssal demons. :o
  12. Tried resizeable, it's horrid to me. I need half of the screen for other stuff too, so resizeable is nothing for me. If Jagex could just take a look to the fixed mode and make some changes in the NIS for it...
  13. I really can't move the counters or momentum. If I shrink the sideboxes, my skillstab becomes one horrid long scrolling list. This is the smallest I can make it without having to scroll constantly through the interfaces. And my screen res isn't small, it's the fixed game screen we had before that resizeable screen came with RS HD. I only play fixed, did that the past 9 years.
  14. I can't resize any of the two bars, only make them vertical, which still doesn't solve the problem that I can't even see my character. And it's so unlogical to have an exit button so tucked away.
  15. This is about the closest I can get to how my screen looks on the normal servers. I cant get that momentum thingy away, my exp counter is stuck between at those tabs, I cant even find an exit button. The bar with my health etc: I can't change the size of it, so it's just sitting there as a big blocking thing. Even more for that other bar, which I don't even know what it does. Also I can't get rid of all the clutter in my chatbox (why would I need all those selection buttons constantly on the screen?) and a lot of functions I can only get to by searching through some new screens. Last of all: what is that camera doing? It feels really uneasy to work with. I'm not scared of change, I do am mad when they are forcing me something unfinished I can't work with.
  16. Sigh, why are they forcing me to use an interface I can do nothing with. :/
  17. Please tell me we won't be forced to use the NIS. I hate it so much.
  18. What kind of attack are you doing there? I don't recognize it at all.
  19. It's wearing a prayer altar. And it would be like the altars in GWD and DG, so I think it means the prayer of the pig restores every 2 minutes, so you can get about 200 pray points per 2 minutes from it, as it normally gives 800 or so pray points initially. :)
  20. I can't even load the damn thing... I hope they're not going to change their plans and suddenly delete JAVA support. :s It's already bad enough I will not get the extra experience for playing the beta.
  21. Still, I would love to see some phalanxes or testudo-formations in RuneScape. :P Also worth noting: it seems Total War is trying to give the battle unit's persons a bigger impact with Rome 2. But I agree, Total War is a semi turned based, semi real time strategie game. :)
  22. I remember your post about that and I find it a lovely thing to add to the combat system! Now with the Battle of Lumbridge coming soon, wouldn't it just be awesome to have actual armies in ranks, impenetrable because of the use of spears and shields, causing your troops to attack from the flanks? :P I wish so much that they could do this... But let's face it. It's not going to be anything like that. Hell most of the battles - ie. Whiterun - on Skyrim are meant to be big, grand and epic, considering that the Imperials and Stormcloaks are massive in terms of numbers (or so we're led to believe) - whereas the reality is there's a couple of wooden barricades that take 2 hits to down and about 25 or so soldiers you have to kill. Don't forget Bethesda have much better graphics, artists, coders, and the like. Hell, not even Ubisoft with AC3's new Anvil Next engine managed to make a "playable" army battlefield just yet. With Jagex I think it's going to be a watered down version of the RotM battle, because don't forget, everyone's got to be able to do it. Or then again... A conquest like scenario where we move groups of troops etc? Anyways It'll be a few rounds of monsters or whatever considering who's trying to take it, and perhaps we'll end up with Skyrim like maps on tables in throne rooms etc in order for us to assess the sway of power. Ever seen the Total War games? :D

  24. Uhmm, all the sagas are located into the past, they are memories of that bloke we unfroze out of Daemonheim. So that problem is already solved, a saga is a view into the past.
  25. That was exactly the point.
