  1. you can't buy any skills, just the raw material, you can't go to the g.e, buy the logs and buy the, you need to work on the skill, thats why no skillcape is noobish
  2. Demoli replied to Kingkapugen's topic in Rants
well, bad luck then. i only took around 400 tokens to get 2 rune and bronze WAS in fact the hardest one to get. gl. peace
  3. well, long bolts are quite powerfull, but regular kebbit wil be just fine they are comparable to steel and long is comparable with broad, although they take quite a while to get. unless your catching [puncture]ly kebbits, use regular xbow with broad bolts edit: you won fro 2 seconds =D
  4. if you're f2p, then stick with the willows, otherwise teaks would be much better exp. if you're willing to spend 15 minutes of your life learning about woodcutting, then use this wonderfull guide: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=762675
  5. Why do you think that? Because the diaries are easily achievable and not nearly much of an achievement. well think again. al diarie req quest to complete and bigger amounts of skills. if you think quest deserve a achievement cape and achievement diaries no lets see the highest quest req and the highest a.d req: quests: 75 magic 72 woodcutting 70 cooking A.D's 73 smithing 70 farming soon 72 slayer now ask yourself, although quests have higher req, tell us wich of these skills take more effort? smithing or magic? farming or cooking? Slayer or woodcutting? dont forget diaries sometimes have quests in their req. hope you reconsider peace
  6. nah, i do dual tournments to kill boredom, and most ppl are actually very nice. only the lower leveled and pures who think are beter then the other complain about the match outcome. and yes, world 83 is the best for tournments in ym opinion. gl on your tourning peace
  7. well, jagex doesnt seem to understand the meaning of the world high level. c'mon lets be realistic, do you really think they will tell ir to kill a dk? in the far end they will tel us to kill a rock lobster or a squah or *maybe* one of those ice trolls, but a dk? nah (i would like to though)
  8. first, 13k willows wont even get you to 85 fm. second, maples are far better, you can get them from mishcellania or buy all the logs for 3.5mil. third: choose your favourite town or place and fmthere, hop bank every so and then and keep clicking on log and tinderbox :D gl on your goal peace
  9. keep those opinions coming, dont let this thread die yes, thhis was mostly a bump... :?
  10. i honestly dont think they wil place anything like that, they still think 70 is high level. in the extreme they will tell you to kill a rock lobster orenter the king's room
  11. If you have read the December Behind the Scenes, you know tht 2 diaries are coming: Falador and Relleka. As there is already a thread on the fally one, shall we discuss the Releeka one? Here are my ideas: easy tasks: kill a rock crab kill a yak kill a cave crawler sucessfully grow barley in the hops patch northwest seers catch a boat to waterbirth island (note: you only need to catch it, not to fight anything grab 5 seaweed from the northern sea shore. med tasks: get your kingdom rating at mishcellania to 100% open the secret market in jatizo make some rope out of yak hair craft a fremnick shield kill a basilisk in the slayer dungeon get a pet rock from that litle rellekian kid kill an hobgoblin browse throught the helm and warhammer shop get the hunter to make you a spined helm enter olaf's cave complete a run in the penguin course hard tasks craft a astral rune kill 5 daganoths in waterbirth island enter the ligthhouse grow a poison ivy in the etcetrian bush patch (hopefully we wont grow a spirit tree : ) kill a kurask in the slayer dungeon use a manta ray to charge a lyre deposit 1mil on the mishchellania coffers cast the lunar spell _______ switch to the lunar magics kill a squah use npc contact spell to contact cyrisus(player who completed WGS will talk to a statue) fish a shark in the fremnick docks smith and addy bar in the fremnick/neitznot furnace smith a addy dagger/mith platebody in the fremnick anvil kill 5 ice trolls in the ice troll king dungeon now onto the rewards: easy reward 5k exp lamp rellekan amulet: reduced store prices in all rellakan shops and adds an extra charge to the lyre an extra battlestaff stock from baga yaga med reward 10k exp lamp r. amulet 2: serves as same purpose as a amulet of nature and gives a 5% boots in att&str in slayer tasks, stackable with black mask/slayer helm and extra 2 charges to the lyre extra b staves from baga yaga and 2 more workers in mischellania hard reward 20k exp lamp r. ammulet 3: 10%boost in att&str in slayer tasks, teleport to mischelannian throne room, same purpose as seal of passage, extra 100 exp from ea lap completed in penguin course and extra 3 charges to the lyre extra b taves from baga yaga (now 32) 3 more workers in mischellania (dont know if we need to deposit more money). R. ammy 2 and 3 retain the previous efefcts, as usual feel free to sugest and discuss. peace note: i'm not native speker so plz forgive any grammar error note2: any other ideas that seem plausible i'll add to the list i mae myself thx.
  12. If thats what you mean as n00b skillcapes (can be bought), then y arent Construction, mage, smithing, etc in ur 'n00b' list? they have nice exp rate and can easily be bought. Nothing more nothing less...
  13. You're right, sorry, my bad, i didnt read your thread carefully. Still i don't think those 3 capes shouldnt be dubbed as noob skillcapes. peace
  14. Well, i have to desagree you on few points: firstly, you only atacked firemaking/cooking/fletching, so please tell me, when do you think a fisher, runecrafter, ectofuncter(or whatever people refer to people training prayer), woodcutter, and many others found their skill truly enjoyable, from the beggining to the end. I gotta admit, if i dont have anyone to talk or a few cool people on the bank i get bored, same to many other skills. i'm not demanding respect for my cape, just for my decision to get it. 1) I dont think today theres that many rwt, since jagex precausion and updates (mostly sacrificial updates, like when they took our precious scorched lands :( ) removed most of them, these 3 skills aren't the main income for them. If you don believe lets see: a) rune/pure essence- truly the main rwt income, that many runecrafters cant work without essence, ans as these mining products only need few clicks to get full inv and bank trip, theres no need add more more info. b)gold ore- mainly merched for questers that need those high smithing level and for people trying to achieve skillcape, those were also a great source of income. c)combat bots- mainly killing green dragons, these would gather vast amounts of d'hides and d bones for our dear and "respected" runecrafters and ectofuncters. these would also kill hill giants and even chickens, mostly for their bones. d)red chins- when hunter came out, rangers saw this new cute little bomb, called chinchompa. This created a large demand for them, and bots also saw this as a good source ofimcome, it ididnt took too long fir the first hunter bots start apearing. e)runecrafters- with the release of ancient magic, there was an urge to level magic to at least level 82, for that new and apealing ice blitz, or even 94 for th ice barrage. rwt didnt wasted this and started ruencrafting like idiots, sometimes buying ess from other rwt'ers and then selling nats for alching in a higher price. f)plank makers- do i really need to explain this? 2) In this points, i agree parcially: most people when see a 99 fletcher level 120 cb and a 99 fletcher 30 cb, they respect the level 120cb (which raises another question:what is more respected now? combat levels are more respected then skil levels?). I usually do it backwards. If i saw this, i'd respect the level 30, as i bet he had much more trouble geting the money or the logs to 99 fletching. I don't think we should disrespect players for their skill, but for their level of maturity and respect for the other players. about that little ps, i never called people noob because i had a b pl8 and they dont, i call them noob when they are trying to let me down as i'm training firemaking. and i never caled a newcomer noob. rare cases are those where i feel confortable by calling other people noob. i hope you agree me... peace
  15. full focus....funny saying...not to belittle u, but in your mind, what takes more focus. mining or fm? to be honest, both seem the same to me, although mining takes 3 clicks per ore (if you are dropping) and firemaking only takes 2 click per log + the bank trip. the only difference is that in mining you dont see the countdown to 99 (firemaking, in the oter hand, you can see those maples getting fewer over the time  )
  16. how much does it cost to get 99 fletch (including the profit)? maybe 12m? how about fm? maples are REALLY cheap...no more than 8m...i can afford that easy. it isnt ahrd to make a few mill to blow on a nooby skill. now, if u really enjoy that skill and will keep gaining exp in it (i dont see why you would for fm...but if thats ur thing) then u have earned that cape. skill capes are about getting 99 in a skill u ENJOY, not one that you can obtain easily cuz u want a cape True, buying maples for 99 fm is only 3.5 mil (from lv 54) and its the second fastest skill (being thieving the level one), and i am firemaking just for the cape, but seriously, i'm starting to enjoy it, and the reason why most ppl dont go for 99 fm is because its a skill that req full focus, unlike cooking and fletching, however getting it to 99 without no lifingtakes quite a while, and i'm not asking to admire my cape (although when i have it i will  ), i'm just asking to respect ym choice. peace
  17. nice, let me guess, bones drop?
  18. unfortunally i'm new in the forums, and i dont know how to place pics. however if you have lumby ring you can get there quickly i guess, bu most of them are near glory's teleport location
  19. When i was taking a short break from my firemaking goal, i stoped to pickpocket a few farmers in draynor village, and noticed a few strange men around ned's house and the market. i don't know if this has anything realted to the new quest, but can someone tell me whate are they doing there? if no one knows anything about this, please post your thoughs thanks for your attention.
  20. well, first this isnt the right forum, but oh well; make sure you are wearing everything, have your clue in the inv and use the correct emote. maybe ur standing in the wrong place, try checking tip it guides and the correct threads\forums (try rsof if needed) i'll not answer for future questions like this one GL and peace
  21. unless you follow the audience requests, i dont see reason for you to dont have ringmaster. seriously, my stats are a lot lower then yours, specially the maghe one, and i have ringmaster nearly since the begining of the circus. oh well, gl on geting ful ringmaster :)
  22. i can now agree you. as i said before, n00bs arent the ones with the so called n00b skills, but the ones who dont have enought maturity/ game knowledge and want a 99, since i spent most of my time trying to balance my skills. i can say honestly i only want a 99 cause i think i deserve one for my playing time (2 yers, i know its not a lot). Note: the only point i desagree, i've worked really hard to get my guthans set, and although i know bunyp is simply better (it's the true, i face it) and i might get 68 summun later, i'm very bond to my infested set, and probably i will still use it in tasks even after i get bunyp (maybe, if they dont heal properly) peace
  23. between these: cooking between all: fishing or woodcutting
  24. there's where we distinguish the normal players from noobs. noobs mock and try to feel superior. just cause i want 99 doesnt mean that i'm a noob. however, trying to feel superiorby mocking other ppl is being a noob, noobs are imamture people. mature noes know what respect is, and those who don't are simply and only noobs.
  25. spectres are fine, but turoth are kida better. if you completed spirit of summer quest use jannica ring to get to the graveyard, close coffins ni spirit world, kil ghosts in real world, repeat. if i rev comes by swith to the spirit real (forinthry brace highly recomended) and change world. peace
