  1. -Of course lumberjack isn't worth it, However, wielding it makes me feel more experienced, and the minigame was not that bad. Fire Gloves and Ring of Fire ARE worth it, it saves you 10 hours worth of burning maples (assuming you burn 10k maples an hour), and doing the minigame is 2 hours max. -Black Jacking is better, although not for a large difference and requires much more clicking. Also, PP has better rewards, even without the Sceptre, the golden trinkets make for it. -Treasure Trails ARE a minigame, as comproved by JaGeX, and i added them to the list, thank you for the remimder  . Peace
  2. Anchor for good hits, Either Ahrim staff or Verac flail for effectiveness, and dragon mace for awesome specials  I would recomend you to get 1mil and buy zammy spear though, but is up to you

I did sumuna's regular tasks all the way until the slayer helm, using only the bonus felt like cheating :D . However, if you dont mind, then do 9 tasks Vannaka (take only a little more then Mazchena, but better monsters and points) and then either Sumuna or Duradel fro the 10th, Duradel MUST be the 50th (225 points versus 160 i believe). Good Luck
  4. 99 Firemaking 99 Defense 90+ Slayer Quest Cape A whole lot of those funny looking yellow pieces Hopes for a good new Year
  5. Sorry, how is that the best powertraining axe? We need minigames, to take a break from skilling, have fun with friends, and general rewards from them. Being Cutting teaks and droping them the best woodcutting power training method, and as the adze burn automaticly 33% of your logs cut, then you spend more time cutting, less time dropping, and with the speed of a dragon axe, the infer no adze surpasses Dragon Axe by far. Its is not good for effective woodcutting because it would burn down yews and magics too. Understood? peace
  6. i usually do f2p pking, as my def lv is rather high, i can hit most of the time and not get hit that much. And by the way,a rune scimitar and rune 2h combo can clear most of the competion, leving them no time to tele. And seriously runners ans teleporters, what do you value more, you honour or rune set? Peace
  7. Yes, i Think barrows is the best example out there, althou torso and the thieving exp from pyramid plunder are also apealing. I honestly think that without pyramid plunder there would be less 99'ers with thieveing skillcape and without BH, many player would quit... (pvp worlds arent the same)
  8. Although I'm not a old player, as i only play since 2006, i noticed the recent amount of minigames and they're inpact in the game. We have Castle Wars, the most popular minigame ever wich require high strategical senses, aswell as high levels; We have Bounty Hunter for anyone who's up to classic pking, We have Fight Pitts to defeat other players in a safe multicombat PvP sistem. For everyone who enjoys skilling, we have Pyramid Plunder, to get us some ancients relics while training our thieving skill; We have Vinesweeper, to give us nice seeds or farming experience, along with some fun; We have Beacon Network, wich finally gave Firemaking a Most needed update, rewarding us with exp boosters and the best powertraining axe in the game, the Inferno Adze. Still, we have the PvE minigames, such as the classic team based Barbaria Assault, wich when it was released rewarded the only torso slot armour with a strenght bonus; we have Barrows, wich still today rewards us with the best cost-efficient armour, as well as weapons and set effects to the apropriate sets. And still, there are many other, such as Stealing Creation, the first minigame that combines skillers and warriors perfectly. And many others are coming, like the phoenix and Mobilizing Armies. Now here's my point: Would runescape be the same without theses minigames, and specially, without those rewards. For everyone who wants to know, here is a list of, in my opinion, the best minigame rewards [hide=Minigame Rewards]Golden Castle Wars Armour (highly respected) Stealing creation armour and tools (double exp is insane!) Looted stuff from other player in BH Fire Cape (best cape in game) Inferno Adze Lumberjack outfit Thieving exp from Pyramid Plunder FoG Herb Gloves Omni-Staff and cheap essence Barrows Armour (let's face it, theyre the best armour in game) Torso (not as seeked after release of GWD) and Penance Gloves Void Armour, specially the range set and the mace Experience Gained from Pest Control Treasure Trail Rewards (You gotta love 3rd Age  ) Many others i dont recall[/hide] Feel free to discuss Side Note: I will later on correct my grammar and vocabulary mistakes. I would apreciate you stick with the main reason of this thread. Remember, we're are to discuss the thread and not my grades at English. Peace
  9. Fav's 1-Avianses- Very nice money, and are a nice chilling after a day burning maples 2-Nechs- Easy to kill, good exp, they own 3-Kurask- They look bad[cabbadge], have decent drop, mostly since i looove pineapples. I also got they're head in my first task, so i must place them here. 4-Gargoyles- Not good exp, but a nice slayer monster and nice drops (7g mauls and 5 mystic tops in one single task, its just insane!) 5-Green Dragons- Famous money maker, can easily make 400k hour in here, specially in the CT. My b pl8 comes mainly from these. Most hated: 1-Terror Dogs- waste of food and guthans set, no drops 2-Hellhounds- no exp, no drop, they just [cabbadge] 3-Kalphites- sooooo tired of these tasks, no drops 4-black demons- hit high, no good drops and charms arent just worth it 5-revanants(or whatever they're name) peace

  13. Do we really need to answer that? -.-
  14. I dare you to find me
  15. Haha! You have to be kidding. Firemaking and Fletching is basically: Click. Click. Click. Bank. Click. Click. Click Bank. RSI RSI Click. Click. Click. RSI Bank. Click. Click. Click. Cape. Skills where you need to go out and make an effort and takes more then two weeks to get, such as Slayer, Summoning, Runecrafting and Mining are actually worth being placed on the Hardest Skills list. Mining: click, lick, click, click, click, click, click, and so on Slayer: Place your cannon, click, wait, click, wait, click, summun your bunyp, wait. Runecrafting: Click, click, click, click, bank, click, click, click, bank. every single thing in runescae is clicking, and honestly, apart from runecrafting wich takes a very long time and dedication to achieve, i dont see how you want to say that firemaking is harder then mining, its the exact same thing! And if you say that i dont lke slayer, i love slayer, but it just makes a easier 99 then firemaking, as i enjoy doing it better then burning down 3mil worth of maples :ugeek: Peace PS: Btw, i wanted to see you achieve 99 firemaking or fletching in 2 week period -.-
  16. well, overall, thr best player is, IMO, the all mighty Zezima Seriously, keeping the no1 place in the highscores for so long, it's just amazing! ps: He still has the most exp, although he is currently ranked on 121 :(
  17. I quite agree with you, though 138 means high summon, and somehow, I respect high summon lvls :-). Btw quest cape isnt 16M xp. Last time I checked it was around 8M xp for the reqs. I do agree that if you calculate the time it takes to get the reqs AND the time/attention it takes to do the quest, you come out with one of the harder capes. Sorry, i probably calculated badly the exp, but don't some quest require high combat lvs like dream mentor and WGS? btw, congratulations, as i see yopu already got your first skillcape =D> =D> =D> peace edit: i found out what was wrong, i calculated all combat stats in 80 (because of the high level combat quests). i apolagize for my mistake
  18. i would say fire giants in the wilderness dungeon, 4x exp ftw!
  19. Of course it's worse. It's a violation of the rules. :ugeek: now that i didn't knew, oh well, i'm glad i never did it
  20. Theh i bet you weren´t at the clan wars, when we were searching for our oponents, the demoniac ruins' greaters didn't even gasped, they were completely owned in seconds
  21. I completely agree with you. Afk'ing is, in my eyes, even worse then the "cook x" option. Just a little doubt, do you think 78 slayer is good with 110 combat? (probably not :? ) peace
  22. i think quest cape without and even with our awesome guides (Tip.It FTW!) it would add up to much more then 150 hours. I used our guides and it took me 5 hours to do just the Mourning Ends part 2.....
  23. Southern Desert; Elven Lands; Ardougne; Camelot; Keldagrim; MORYTANIA      All possible choices ( i think you already understood mine  ) Peace
  24. supported, if the classic 3 are noobish, then so the combat ones (specially range) just a little appart: quest cape requires more exp and time then any other cape (around 16 mil exp and the time you spend gaining the exp and completing the quests)
