i think there is a misunderstanding here. i dont want respect by achieving a 99 firemaking cape, i'm perfectly conscious that no one will stop and glance at it. the only thing i want is that other people respect what i am doing. do you think i dont enjoy slayer, or combat. i even enjoy farming and when i'm fming with a friend or even with a nice talkative guy, i realle enjoy fming. slower, but more enjoyable.. i want 99 firemaking for the achievement of saying "i have a 99 skill, i earned it and i deserve to ear the nice cape". of course, i do breaks. personaly after i achieve 92 fm i'm planning on doing a break to earn patience for the last 6.5mil exp. if your opinion is different, then dont let down people who have a goal. PS: there much more people with 99 str(50k) then with 99 firemaking (16.5k) peace.

You're associating us with noobs? Thank you very much, you really know how to make people more likely to agree with you. Basically people that power-level just for a cape are not considered to have done anything to deserve to be shown respect for their "effort". How many tens of thousands of players have 99 capes in Firemaking/Cooking/Fletching? Their numbers are constantly increasing, thus devaluing the capes for those skills even further. Not to mention that they're buyable skills, and that isn't helping. You want "respect" for a 99? Go get it in a skill like Mining or Fishing. You said you were going for 99 Defence but decided to abandon it because it wasn't fast enough for you. You can't honestly expect to get the recognition you want by taking the easy way out. i'm not saying you are noobs, i just wrote thag that for the people who have no respect for other people effort. SEriously, no one high leveled has ever called me a noob, but the 50's-70's levels keep passsing on trying to make me lend them my b pl8, and when i say 15k hour or simply no, they start braggin that fm is a noob skil. fm is a easy skill, and 99 is a achievement that i want. i just want respect, for me and for all the ither ones that fm. ps: if you have qa friend fming with you, its not that boring and is quite enjoyable. background music helps

depends on the quest. underground pass and mourning ends part2 would take me ages to complete without a guide, but some quest you feel like you need to compleet them alone (desert treasure, rfd, cokos assistant) so i would say this: if you like hearing the storylines, dont use guide, or atr least read the dialogues. if you just want the reward, use guides and skip the talks..

"N00B" skillcapes I'm currently training fm at edgeville, as i want my first skillcape. At first i though defence, but as the max exp per hour is 100k, i didnt took it fr too long. then i sawe this little devoloped skill, so i bought around 95k (the calculater did the maths) and started doing it. hwever, passing ppl, specially the lower lvs, stop and call noob, probably cause i'm training fm. But i dont se them wielding ringmaster outfit, b pl8, legends cape, and specialy no skillcape! y is this tendence of ppl h8ing fm? same happens as fletch and cooking. even quest cape was highly insulted b4 quests like rocking out and summers end although is a cheaper and kinda faster skill, you must not forget that its overwhelmingly boring, and going for 99 takes quite a while. this is a appeal i make for all tip.iters out there: although is a more common one, f, cooking and fletch is still a skillcape, and if you have anyone of them, you know that although cheaper, its extremely tedious ( i think thats the reason ppl with skillcape/ high lv players dont insult me). be kind and polite, we're ther to help. Feel free to discuss Note: I dont no life firemaking, and i do take breaks, so i would apreciate you dont call me and other skillers such things. i would say get 70 def so you can use torag legs, but with granite you will be fine (more expensive though) if you have tassets, use them. just know that i'm 83 def and avianses seem tio hit mt way 2 much

although it looked like a aklowledgement of the magic skill, it was still a good story, hopes are high for a new spellbook set of spells, at least for me :thumbsup:

as i'm bit ol fashioned, i use d scimm (i no, outdated, but works just fine with rune def) but i think obby sword and zerker neck works even beter. i honestly think ss is a waste. if you can, buy a gs, much better (not in exp terms) for camping at monsters (sgs the best f course) and you keep it for the long term. but there are options and options, and with the most strange wep you might get higher exp (rubber chicken anyone?) i'm not sure bout this, but full dh at ape atoll seems to work just fine (like 120k exp per hour i've been told)

f you dont care about money, then barrage and chin in the 100+ pc, brutal amounts of exp (brutal amounts of money spent too) my opin ion, although i think dharoking in the ape atoll guards is very fast exp(beware the spider)

very nice idea, i've though that a while ago and i think it will be a nice solution. although i think they should be degradeable (the ones that heal more degrade like pvp weps, the ones that heal less repairable)any supporters?

depend on whaT YOU ARE training, mostly, c bow is better, but mage short is also a cheap and eficient alternative. also, the first c bow costs are outrageous

clan wars spot is too overcrowded and revs make it anoying chaos tunnels :thumbsup: is the way it isnt prayer method, you just need to learn how to position yourself for the bbd dont hit you, also, games neck to bh is the fastest way to these

defender's worth it, no doubt, although i only recomend it for 80+ defence, since it lacks def bonuses. i used steel armour for gathering the tokens, and it csted me 400 tokens (i got very very luky, since i got black, mith, addy and rune defender in my first drop as i entered the room, but i heard (mostly in this topic 8-) ) that the average is 2k. good luck

sell ss, buy full dh and many antipoisons and go to ape atoll in the temple, near the altar. begin without prayer and when you get like 10 hp left, turn prayer off. Beware the spider, thats y those tons of super strong antipoison. with a full inventory of antipoison+prayer book from that quest (the one you get the anchor) while wielding a holy simbol you can stay der forever. i personally dont like dharoks training, but oh well, its one of the best training methods (i only train cb stats at slayer tasks) Hope i helped :thumbsup:

undubedatly! f2ps spend much more time trying to lv then p2p. i must be hones, i really want a 99 skill (member for 2 years and still none, respectfull slayer lv though) and lets be hones, fishibng in kaRAMJA, even with the new lumby ring isn't something even compared to fishing monks or sharks with gloves. same to rc, air runes are almost half exp then nats, not to say bloods. ppl must understand that no one would ever want to buy 6 $ to have a fictional caracter to wear a freaking cape, and then come back to free to play. my 2 cents

either comlpete mm and get a d scimm or buy a obby sword and a berzerker necklace, best str exp in game.

not really, in fact, very little tasks can make you profit if you use canons, only spectres i think, other only with clues. i suggest you sell your cannon. its cost isnt compared to teh exp and it onyl a little faster (kalphties and dagganoths exeption) my opinion..

yes, you get same exp. in fact, if you have high enought mining (65 +) buy the mith ore and nats, get a run pick and fire staff. fill your invo with rune pick, 23 mith ores, equip fire staff and g to guild to mine coal and superheat, not that kind of money, but very nice exp =)

you could go either werewolf or wildy if you happen to have those shiny new brawling agility gloves, go to a pvp world and use the wildy course. 2k per run isnt to waste. best exp in game (beating even ape atoll with brawl gloves) if you dont have, you should go either wildy with tons of food and terrorbird also loaded, not recomended; wildy pvp same inv and familiar, suggested, or my personal favorite, werewolf course wih dbaxe equiped on agressive (plus 3 str lvs) and use special whenever you can, as the teeth grip focus of your strenght and not on your agility. also good exp choose your best =^)

i would say yes, turoth have nice drops and kurasks' pineapples are good for farming and other dorps are quite profitable, although mystic top is quite rare, even rarer i his head (i show you my house if you dont believe =D) and sword isnt that bad, is better then d scimmy and only a bit weaker then whip. hope i helped

the real secret is to get high skills, high armour and low hunters =) or maybe they are just huge clan getting huge amounts of tokens =P
