Honestly, I don't know in which world will smogon reccomend Spe IV's into ferrothorn, a pokemon with friggin base 20 Speed, one of, if not the lowest base speed among all fully evolved pokemon. there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to run Speed Ivs on good 'ol nattorei. Smogon is the competitve pokemon community, they would never suggest something this ridiculous.

Why would you train a Ferroseed in Speed? Apart from SpA, thats the stat you DON'T want to train. You'd be better off with 252 HP EV's and 252 in other defences or 200 in one defence and 50 in att or something.

Standing still hoping this would stop will not bring any good either, maybe real bullets is too much, but hell, rubber bullets, tear gas, water cannons, show some resistence to this, otherwise it just won't stop.

This Gen, teambuilding is all about synergy. You can no longer focus on a certain mon to sweep the entirety of the other team or having checks for a lot of situations. You should have a defensive core of 2-3 pokemons, 2 physical sweepers that cover each other weaknesses and 1-2 special sweepers to get rid of all those gliscors. Sure, ti is not teh only way, but it's one of the best ways to make a balanced team.

Today, the Metroid Franchise is officially 25 years old. Ever since then, Metroid has revolutionized the basic sidescrolling shooter experienced by implementing exploration as a main feature, unlike other games it dropped you into an empty world without any guidence where you had to find your own way through. My first experience with the Metroid Franchise was Metroid Fusion, which was the default Demo game at GBA stations, and even after playing only 15 minutes of that game I was hooked. Later that year I managed to find a copy of that game (really rare in Portugal somehow) and was blown away by it's fusion of exploration and clever puzzles. Ever since then I pursued every single metroid game, having played them all apart from Hunters. It is a series unlike any other and I can only look forward to the next entry in the series. From the original, to the 2D masterpiece of Super, to the revolution of Prime, ending in the sidestep of Team Ninja, Metroid has always been an excellent series without a single game being classified as "bad". My favourite moments of the series are a mix of the regular and the not so heard of. My nº1 moment is, without a doubt, the moment you discovered Adam was the computer in Metroid Fusion, mostly because you were never expecting to hear the famous phrase coming otu of the hal-like PC. The sacrifice of teh baby is the second spot, with all the other ones being from the prime series. The entrance to Phendrana drifts was pretty awesome, as was the Prime battle. The first encounter with Dark Samus in Echoes was also prety intense, and to this date i still think the Light suit is the best suit yet. Prime 3 had the most share of increadible moments: The fight down the shaft with Ridley, working with other hunters, every single bounty hunter fight (Rundas was particulary memorable, if not for the music), the bombing of the pirate's homeworld and finally, Phaaze and the final battle with Dark Samus and the Aurora's. Good stuff there. And so I ask, what are your thoughts about this long lasting series, and what are your favourite moments? Any player would switch in either Blissey in that scenario or sac a mon so Tyranitar can come in and crunch/pursuit for the KO. Even if latios uses psyshock (still doesn't OHKO blissey AFAIK), you can switch to tyra just after and put it in a check mate. As always, it relies on prediction on both parts, but saying Psyshock demolishes the blobs i wrong. Sure, it is a problem, but not a checkmate status.

Demolished is a huge overstatement, it really is only usefull in CM sets. Choice sets lets you completely open to Tyranitar, and nattorei can come in scott free and T-Wave you. CM sets lack the imidiate power, so the blobs can switch in and T-Wave it, again, rendering it useless. Really, the only pokemon that should be using Psyshock is Reuniclus due to big bulk and access to Focus Blast, plus he doesn't care about paralisis that much and even less about toxic.

Carefull max HP max SpD ferrothorn can tank unholy ammounts of pokemon, specially those lacking Fire or fighting attacks. If onlt it had instant recovery isntead of leech seed.. Speaking of whom, I already have my carefull ferrothorn with LS and spikes fully trained and evolved. Really tedious to defeat frillish's and stunfisks with only energy ball, leech seed and metal claw as attacks. Hopefully trining a Slowbro or a tangrowth won't be as painfull.

God dangit, you know one thing I hate when I play Engy? When you are the only one at first and manage to keep your nest/teleport alive and well, managing to support and help the team, only for 3-4 new players who aren't doing much change to Engy and start making their own nest.... right next to mine. Seriously, what the hell? I try to tell them to at least move the sentry to another place, but they always go something like this "Oh, you only want that so you can have more kills and points and leave mewith nothing Huuur". Then, as I move my nest to another place, since if they don't change I might aswell do so, and I end up having them following me with a gigantic cluster[bleep] of sentries, leaving our base without anything (in the case of CP or CtF) / not covering alternative points (D/A and payload). I once had 3 engies following me from our base in 2fort to the haystack area of the clu base. Hey genious, if we are all here, no one's at the base. In other news: I'm starting to love YER. It is tricky to elarn at first, but getting chainstabs or an oppoennt medic healing you and maybe even ubering after you backstabebd their heavy is priceless.

Man, Daigo got 4-0'd and perfected, I thought I'd never see the day that happened. Still Poongkou was acting like a total [bleep] before the match, I don't get why the crowd always seems to boo Daigo, heck, they id the same for Justing Wong before that amazing comeback with akuma. It's as if they have a stigma against former champions.

I wouldn't count Justin Wong out of the MvC tournment, he seemed really solid. And quite honestly, Daigo also has an excellent Ryu and a very good Yun, he has a very solid chance to take the SSF4 title again.

People can call it a fail all they want, but for me that was the biggest win of EVO 2k11 apart from Noah completely destroying people with triple or quadraple his age. It felt like he did it on purpose just to satisfy the croud :lol: But it's still the first EVO I wath live, so meh. SSF4 was mostly quite full apart from the rare good match. MvC3 was amazing later on. early on everyone was spamming Wolverine/Akuma/phoenix/wesker, all the matches felt the same.

Well, I already have a careful ferro with spikes and leech seed, but if you have one with sr I'll gladly trade with you.

Now that I've started using Invis watch again, and I cought a YER to become premium, I've started to have a great time with spy. Yesterday I got my very first amazing spy spree: In the 2 fort inteligence room, on the outside area, there were 2 engies and a pyro completely set up. I managed to get behind the pyro where the sentries and the engies couldnt see me (I didn't backstabed anyone at the time), and backstabbed it to get the disguise. Then, I started pondering a bit on what the hell would I do next. Suddenly, the Engies started using the guitar emote on each other, standing perfectly still one in front of the other, repeating it over again. Stabbed them both, destroyed the sentries and capp'd the inteligence <3:. Also, is anyone here up for some trading? I'd love a degreaser and an axtinguisher, and I have a couple of Uber Update stuff to trade.

So, I finally got a female Tangela from DW and I'm now breeding Tangelas with Leech Seed, and awesomly enough I found out my male cotonnee has 31 Def IV's, so if anyone here want a regenarator Tangela with leech seed and 31 Def IV feel free to ask here. That being said, I'm really looking for a Cacnea/cacturne, does anyone here have one? I need it really badly to get a decent Ferrothorn. That or a stealth rocks Turtwig/Grotle/Torterra for leech seed/SR.

Sticks are really relative, while I certainly play better street fighter and blazblue with sticks, for some reason I always play mvc and Mortal Kombat better with a regular 4-button controller, dunno why.
