Little CONFIDENCE story here. All my life i've generally been a pretty shy person, especially around girls. Whenever i'd talk with a girl, chances are she was the one who started the conversation. Very rarely would I be the first to talk, especially in person and not online. And i've only asked two girls out in my life, and got rejected both times. Well last week I got tired of being shy all the time and decided i'd try to be more outgoing. On thursday I gathered up my CONFIDENCE and talked to five girls that day. Nice. Even got an aim sn from this one girl in my chemistry class.

I used z spear, and used slayer from 4-64 then waterfiends from 64-68

Lol, well I tried wifi for the first time. I fought random team battles. Turns out I suck more than I thought I did :lol: There was this one guy who was king dedede that just kept owning, I only won 1 of the 10 or so matches #-o Looks like I need to improve my technique. Judging from what I saw I need to use my shield more and try to grab people more than once per fight. And lag is SO annoying, i'd use wolf's up+b to save me from a fall only to have it lag and have him execute it when he's already off the screen :| Might find out my fc later so I can brawl with you guys

Well, I just killed a level 9 samus 3 times without dying. And I was falco. Is this good? To be honest I was only going for 2 kills but somehow got a 3rd one. Next i'm going for 5 kills :-# EDIT: Rofl, this thread has twice as many posts as the marketplace forum

You can add me to that (probably large :P) list of people you have influenced. Mostly the love one and the very last one. It's pretty funny, I was actually planning on using the "become friends first, then go into a relationship" tactic on this one girl I like, but now it looks like it probably won't work :P Another thing that influenced me was the very last thread. I noticed ever since I joined these message boards (and another forum, though not runescape related) i'm very immature compared to most of the other members. This sort of angered me, and actually made one of my goals in life to be mature. I've been trying to sort of "mimic" the other users of the board by using good grammar and spelling and whatnot, and also trying to make intelligent and sometimes witty posts. I've never been able to accomplish that (i've been at this for nearly a year) and i've probably made myself look like even more of an idiot. I'm probably trying too hard, I guess the one thing i've done to help myself is stop typing like "this n stuff lol. u no, wit spelling you like u n are like r", and possibly thinking my posts through a little more. But most of the time I probably overthink it and end up looking just as immature as I did before. But the thing is I realized that i'm really setting an impossible goal; i'm trying to fit in with people years older above me (some my age and some younger, but the majority of the ones I look up to are older than me). I mean, i'm 15 and most of them are probably 18 to maybe 25, and I guess the fact that we all hide behind our computers and unless someone tells you their age you can only guess it based on the way they type makes them seem more people I would normally talk to (kind worded that weird, I hope you get what i'm saying :P). And usually the guesses are correct, but I remember thinking that Lenticular_J was probably 18 or 19 based on the way he talked, but actually he's (I think) a freshman in highschool. He's incredibly intelligent and witty for someone his age, and I guess he's actually sort of an inspiration to me, as are numerous other members of these forums. I know it sounds lame but to be honest it's the truth, tif inspires me. So anyways I guess I just realized that I sort of set an impossible goal, i'm trying to mature too quickly and according to what you said maturity really isn't as big of a deal as you had preconcieved, so I guess i'm just worrying about it too much. I just need to let myself mature the way i'm meant to and leave it alone. Anyways, sorry for such a strange post that I don't even know who it's directed to, but thank you very much trapical for making your ten threads They've really made me think and inspired me. You will definitely be one of the people I remember from the internet. Once again, sorry for such a strange post :x

First of all they have to be somewhat pretty. I've set a line of where the somewhat pretty and where the ugly is and i'd like to think i'm pretty lenient on it. Also, they can't just live for drama. I just hate those girls so much, they make things WAY more complicated than they need to be. Intelligence really isn't too much of an issue, as long as they're not a complete idiot I don't really care. Sense of humor is very important. Drugs/smoking are a huge turn off. Playing an instrument isn't something I look for but if they do it's definitely a bonus.

Sorry to hear that ginger :c I have a few general questions. I'm using the c-stick set to smash. Would it be better to just use the analog stick + A button to do a smash attack, or just stick with the c-stick? I'm using falco right now, since metanight isn't exactly strong enough for my tastes and i'm not nearly experienced enough to even toy with snake. Would this be a good choice for a beginner? Would it be better to use the Z button or use the shield + A instead? They do the same thing... I think :?

Hey, could anyone direct me to a good video/tutorial on brawl techniques? I've considered myself a good player for a while now but I heard about all these techniques that i've never known about, like wavedashing or whatever, so I guess i'm more inexperienced than I thought.
