So basically I'm going to be recording and then selling a song on iTunes, but I can't pick a song. I've written about 8 songs, and finally, after 3 months, I have two songs left that are worthy of being sold on iTunes, but I can't decide which one to sell! So I decided I would ask you to help me decide! I've created a very rough outline of both of the songs. Keep in mind that these are all computer-generated and since I suck horribly at programming drums, the drums in the final recording will be MUCH more complex. Here is the first one, Artic Waters: The drums in this one will still stay relatively simple but not as simple as this. I've also gone back and taken out a few measures; some repeats were unnecessary. The video was made prior to the measure cuts. Here is the second one, though it doesn't have a name yet: I didn't bother putting drums in this one because i'd just end up butchering them. What my drummer does in this song is WAY too complex for me to even begin to program so I decided to just leave it out completely on this one. So, please tell me which song you liked most! And, if there are any adjustments you would make to one of the songs, please tell me! Thanks!

No, 5 is the minimum. The average is 6-7. Snapdragon and kwuarm are approximately on even footing. Snaps will have a huge advantage if you get a big harvest, but they also have a huge disadvantage if you get a death, and the two tend to balance each other out for the most part. However, if you don't already have the seeds in your bank, it's worth noting that snapdragon seeds are much more stable in their price today. Kwuarm seeds recently made a huge peak and are diving back down again, so it's probably not a good time to buy them today. The mechanics of the Grand Exchange mean that herb and seed prices can fluctuate from day to day. As such, it's impossible to flatly recommend snapdragon over kwuarm (or vice versa) all the time and be right about it. They're currently both among the top 3 herbs to plant today, so you should feel good about either one. Myself, I switch between kwuarm, snapdragon, and toadflax. I would go with snapdragon though, since it gives more exp.

Just got a Cool Cat (Danelectro) fuzz pedal for only $40 and it's just awesome. I can make so many muse-ish sounds with it. [hide=Cool Cat][/hide] Also, i'm looking to buy a bass. I'm also going to get a starter pack just to save on the hassle of buying multiple things. Now my question is, which should I get? I'm mostly concerned with the amp, considering I hate compressed bass with a passion. Unfortunately I don't know anything about bass amplification; all I know is I don't want compression and that I prefer slap bass and whatever Muse uses in their bass lines. It sounds... anti-compressed? I don't know how to explain it :x. Hopefully you guys get what i'm saying.

Played guitar in an audition for this thing called Governor's School, pretty complicated but basically if I make it in i'll go to a college for a month and learn about music and possibly get a scholarship. Just because you're risking items in pvp doesn't mean you have to be prepared to lose them if you "lose" a battle. I'd much rather keep my stuff instead of being nice and letting someone have a tiny chance at a rune berserker shield. This seems like it belongs in rants, too.

This is true. I've learned a lot from reading some of the more intelligent posts on these forums. In my opinion the internet is very educational and i've learned a lot more than I would have if I didn't have it. Also, people like Trapical (which I have seen on other forums as well) say things that really make me think, and even influence me to study harder in school hoping that someday I will sound as intelligent and mature as them. All in all I think the internet's really helped me get a better view of the world and what people are like and (slightly) improve my vocabulary and motivate me in school. I think, because of the conversations i've frequently had (or just read without contributing) with people years older than me have also helped me realize how immature I am. Now all I want is to be able to sound intelligent and mature, and not like the stereotypical 15-year old that I am. Unfortunately I haven't made much progress with that :( EDIT: Why do I always have to kill topics? D:

It would be practical to get agility as your first 99. You would get so much extra run energy and the others will seem like a breeze. And 99 thieving is probably one of the fastest, and you make ~1-2m getting 99. Possibly more if you use pyramid plunder and get sceptres often. Also thieving is about as easy as fletching/cooking/fm and even faster but there are less thieving capes than even attack capes. But don't care about what people think of the capes or how common they are. And be prepared to get very, VERY bored.
