  1. To be honest, it's best to just start off with solo dungeons unless you have a few good friends to raid with. Here's a rather in-depth and useful guide that I use sometimes: http://runescoop.com/html/rs_TheRuneScoopUltimateSkillGuideDungeoneering.htm
  2. Then barrows is what you're looking for :P There are a couple good guides in the AOW, have fun
  3. ^ But that doesn't matter at all because it isn't hard to get a drop, and there are plenty of high-value drops. Plus it's easy and fun and is a great starter boss. Oh, and what boss isn't heavily based on rarity anyway? :| DK's are also relatively easy if you go with a decent team. Your first trip will probably be a bit rough but once you get the hang of it it's awesomely simple and a great (yet long) way to do dagannoth tasks. Oh, and one more: Tormented Demons. They're actually a bit challenging, even if you're already used to them. But they're great because they're so easy to solo and easy to get to. I would even say that it's easier to solo them than kill them with a team, but that's just me.
  4. Lol forgot about that. Also got this today: And look who's breaking their bank! Got enough money to get me 85, and still have the essential slayer gear left over. :D And here's a cool milestone: Still got a long ways to go though >.<
  5. Walk-in axe that I got on Supreme :P Also managed to get ~1m worth of talismans from Prime. Trip ended badly though... I got rol'd out and lowc had to tab >.>
  6. I have a question: Why are you all so pissy about the rock climbing boots update? I still don't see what was so terrible about it.
  7. This complaining is precisely why I try to avoid the Runescape-themed boards here on Tip.It nowadays. It's just full of whiners complaining about things they don't understand. I'd like to see one of YOU complainers be a QA for Jagex. Your life would be a living hell. You'd spend hours and hours testing out every little thing in this ridiculously complex game to make sure nothing messes up. Then you'll get [wagon] who spend their free time trying to break your game and point out every single obscure bug you might have missed. Then the players will notice and give their routine, "Ugh Jagex QA sucks how could they miss this bug it's like they don't even play their own game  " complaints and prepare themselves to whine about the next piece of content that comes out. Jagex has earned my respect by dealing with its terrible fanbase and reputation in the gaming community and still trying to make the game the best they can make it. It's going to take a lot more than the silly climbing boots incident to make them lose that respect.
  8. That is true. But how many developers will use Move and actually use it well? Hopefully a lot actually, since I plan on getting a PS3 :P I know there are a lot that are supporting it, but I haven't seen anything yet that interests me.
  9. Scales can deteriorate in accuracy over time. If it's a really old scale, there's a small chance it'll be off. But Dizzle, chances are you're weaker than you were hoping
  10. Are you even aware of the MotionPlus that goes with the Wii? It uses a gyroscope sensor, which is much more accurate than the Move. It can sense what angle you're holding the remote and all that. It doesn't necessarily calculate depth from the sensor like the Move, but its rotational movement is going to be much greater than the Move's ever will. At least until the Move decides to stop using a camera. How gyroscopes work if you didn't know: http://science.howstuffworks.com/gyroscope3.htm (It's a long read but definitely worth it) The precision with this is ridiculous, and new games being developed with the gyroscope don't have to rely on the awkward sensor bar. So no, the Wii is not as far behind in regards to engineering innovations as you thought. Some of this is subjective, but I think that they're still ahead regarding console engineering. While some of the features of the Wii really really suck, such as graphics, the innovation behind some of the concepts make up for it in my opinion. Sorry about elaborating on the Wii in this thread
  11. I think the gradient on the hilt is waaaaaay too harsh. If you use a gradient, you should really only use no more than 3 colors, unless you manage to blend them really well. If you want to use as many as you did here it would probably be better to just digipaint it on.

    Today...

If they need an extra person, yes. No matter what people say it's always about who you know. This. I actually tried to get a job at my friend's dad's restaurant. It felt really awkward, but it really works the same way in the more professional world. It's best to get used to using contacts to work your way up now. Still haven't gotten the job; he said he's fully staffed but he'll definitely consider me once he gets an opening. And I know he's serious and not giving false hope like the other ~15 places I've tried, because he's seen how well I work since his daughter (said friend) was on my robotics team. It's great we went pretty far in the competition this year (read: semifinals at the world championship) :D
  13. This looks really awesome. You guys are way too cynical. Also, I'm really hoping Raptor ends up being an actual raptor, just wearing a zerker helm and a steel longsword. And a cape too, that would be cool.

    Today...

Today I started learning on piano. Good lord ._________________. Jazz piano is crazy!
  16. Lol, speaking of that... I was actually planning on doing some arma once I got a fury back, and was going to ask you probably. And that will be once I get 90 strength and sell the sara sword to rebuy a whip and a fury, which will happen in 76k exp  And thanks on the robes, though I've already sold them  Decided barraging was too boring and I'd rather get the charms through slayer.
  17. Here is the T vs F description: I disagree with what they define as feeling then. Consideration of feelings does not equal not thinking. If I don't want to take a job because I don't like the environment, that means (atleast for me) that the place I'm working in, most probably on a daily basis, shouldn't be something I dislike. So even if I based it on a feeling, it was processed through thinking and weighing the options. Or not telling someone something which may upset them requires thinking. If I wasn\t thinking, I'd say whatever the hell I want. Etc, etc. You're taking this waaaaay too literally. The point isn't to say that if you're in the feeling category then you don't think. It's simply a way of categorizing different behaviors, the names just mean that generally someone will rely on their feelings more or less than someone else.
  18. Rather than do the whole slayer/boss-hunting scenario, I find it's easier to ask yourself, "whip or godsword?" The difference between CLS and CR is not as big of a difference as the whip/GS difference, but it's pretty much the same argument. Although I'd recommend ignoring the CLS and going for both rapier and maul :D
  19. You were a bit close on the I/E. You should check out the definition of an INTJ and see if it's any closer.
  20. I've been an INFP for a while. Haven't taken it in a few months though. It's really interesting, and it's probably the closest we've ever been to defining personality types.
  21. Mostly because I wanted to replicate what I saw. Plus, I think it's pretty neat. An image would probably look better, but this is more fun :D Then again, just an image of a gradient would be really boring actually >->
