    Today...

Like so? Um no, it definitely didn't go like that, not at all. That would be overreacting, and I definitely don't do that nope...
  3. Bought a PS3 and Final Fantasy XIII today. I'll let this post I made in the Today thread speak for my opinion so far: There are a few setbacks to the game (linearity to the xtreme!! and a few annoying characters) but overall I love it so far. Very cinematic, and the combat's starting to get a bit crazy.

    Today...

So today started off with me working a little bit and getting my paycheck. Then I went over to a friends' house and played Call of Duty a little bit. Then some time passed and so I went to gamestop and bought a PS3 and Final Fantasy XIII. I set up the system and started playing at 6:45 P.M. It is now 1:00 A.M. and I just stopped playing. I. Love. This. Game. :D I feel like a little kid getting his N64 for the first time haha, it's great!
  5. Yes and no. The guy I'm talking about wouldn't wear the shoes you bought, or Threadless tees. He'd either get clean point three eyelet derbies, or another very minimalistic dress shoe, but no extended toe loafers. And either a plain tee or one with a distressed graphic on it. That's still leagues better than most of what I see. At least 80% of teenagers in America wear jeans, a t shirt, and a sweatshirt when it's cold. That or wearing everything from Abercrombie/Hollister/Aeropostale.
  6. The things like boxing and caving. They're the stereotypical manly-man articles that the website gets criticized for. They tend to overshadow the much more intelligent and useful articles the site has to offer.

  8. That situation sounds like it belongs in a bad sitcom

So this means that ultimately, the Power Puff Girls did not have a happy ending... That's depressing. But so is this.

    Today...

Worked 6 1/2 hours today, which is the longest I've worked yet o.o Reason is I'm still in training though and it's my first job :P Great thing is that the managers are real nice and so are the coworkers. Plus it's a local cafe in a building probably nearly two centuries old, so the atmosphere's great and everyone's friendly  Also will probably end up getting my PS3 tomorrow, along with Final Fantasy XIII, I'm so stoked! :D
  11. I haven't bought a new DS since my launch week silver brick of a console I bought years ago. To me, all of the improvements on all these new DSi's were all dumb things to buy a new console for. But hot damn, the 3DS looks awesome and I'm definitely going to be getting it. I generally hate 3D as well, but the fact that they've managed to make it work without glasses is awesome for me. Glasses are what keep me from liking 3D in the first place  And a new Paper Mario and Ocarina of Time remade, how can you not want that?! O.O
  12. Nooooo, Express Men is having a 40% sale on their awesome dress shirts! This is bad because just got enough money for a PS3, and I don't know how long the sale will last >.< Here's the sale if anyone's interested: http://www.express.com/1mx-shirts-40-off-642.cat?ICID=2267
  13. Zach Braff or Will Ferrell
  14. You won't make friends anywhere being such a pessimist. Just moving won't stop problems that occur within yourself. Namely, causelessly hating everything. Try a little empathy sometime. Who cares if it isn't true, it'll make you feel better to simply assume there's a good reason for someone to, say, cut you off in traffic. Maybe their father is in the seat next to them and having a heart attack. There's a place for pessimism and cynicism (probably at least, I don't really know where), but empathy and positivity and hope are useful in any situation. Your once subtle Art of Manliness references are nearly quotations now :P Ballerplaya, good read: http://artofmanliness.com/2010/07/25/our-disembodied-selves-and-the-decline-of-empathy/
  15. Probably not the inflict pain part, but the look just in general annoys me. The beard is not epic, and the look just says, "Hi I'm trying to dress indie so I'm pretentious!" I know not everyone that dresses like that is pretentious, but everyone that I've personally talked to that dresses like that is obnoxiously pretentious.

    Food

I'd never do that  I'm picky with salads. If the dressing isn't caesar or oil and vinegar, I probably won't like it.

    School

5:30 - Wake up, get ready 7:15 - School starts 2:00 - School Ends 2:00 - 8:00a - Robotics (if it is during that day) 2:00 - 8:00b - Do nothing at home :D 8:00 - 10:00 - Homework/more nothing if applicable But the job I might be getting would have me working at 3:30, so that would take up some time.
  18. Speed and Capitalism are my favorite card games :D
  19. Flower looks really interesting. MGS4 I've always wanted to play as well; forgot about that :P

    School

HOOOOWWWW?!?! School is what you make of it. If you think, "too much work this sucks i hate school [bleep] it all why can't i just go home" then of course it's going to suck. American high school is NOT that hard, even if you're IB. It shouldn't be hard at all to get your work out of the way and have fun.
  22. Same thing here, I know exactly what you mean. I don't see a stereotype on that website that I fit into. I guess that's a good thing

    School

Looking forward to school. Senior year will be awesome. Classes aren't too bad; hardest are AP Physics and AP Calculus AB.
  24. ^ On that note, any variation of lol. Lolz, lols, l0l, lulz, L, THEY ARE ALL ANNOYING PLEASE STOP USING THEM :(
