Today I found out what noobtubing is. It's fun. It's also the only way I can get killstreaks :[

I guess I'll just save up some herbs from MTK and see where they get me; I've already got about a month's worth saved up. Then I'll just use the rest of the time for epic slayer and dungeoneering exp :) Looking forward to this, gives me a reason to log on for once.

I just got my first Final Fantasy game, FF XIII, and I'm pretty sure I'm nearly done with it. It's a great game, and as I said earlier my only complaint is the cheesiness of the characters/story and how linear the game is. The pretty creative battle system is a big plus, the graphics are AWESOME, and the fact that it plays like an interactive movie with combat involved was pretty appealing to me personally. There are lots of long cutscenes (10+ minutes) and there's also a good amount of reading you have to do to get the whole story. The other thing I really like is the fact that while the combat system is pretty complex, it starts off really simple and they gradually introduce more mechanics as you play, to make sure you're ready for it. With Final Fantasy they're all separate storylines so choosing a more recent game won't leave you with a sequel that's better played after its predecessors. That was my concern with jumping into Final Fantasy, but it isn't a problem at all. I've heard great things about FF VII, and I can personally vouch for FF XIII. Though other people will have to talk about the other games :P Also, in regards to JRPG's, the Tales of series makes some incredible games. Tales of Symphonia 1 & 2 for the Gamecube and Wii respectively are my personal favorites. They've both got well over 50 hours of gameplay, have a great story with bundles of plot twists, and really really fun combat.

I've managed to get to Chapter 9 so far in FF XIII, it's the first Final Fantasy game I've played. The story is incredibly cheesy and lame and I want Vanille and Hope to shut up and go away, but I love the game :3 I really like how cinematic it is. Oh, but the linearity, oh god. Are all Final Fantasy games this cheesy and linear?

Yeah that is a lot :P I'm looking at UCF, Embry Riddle, UT Austin, and Virginia Tech as a fallback. Going to be applying early to UCF in a couple months, then the others in December.

Is there like a secret way to get good at this game other than playing a lot and learning the maps? I still seem to really suck at it even though I've been playing it for a while now :P

^ Whoa there, not all universities are that easy to get into. Most state schools and trade schools only care if you have money, but there are a LOT that are still pretty selective. University of Florida's a state school but it's been getting tougher to get into because every Floridian and their mother wants to be a Gator. Then there's the obvious MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc.

Speaking of smoothies, this is an epic one I made. I was trying to replicate a smoothie from Planet Smoothie but actually ended up making it better: 2 Bananas 4 Tablespoons of peanut butter 3 Scoops of frozen yogurt/vanilla ice cream Then I just pour some chocolate syrup on it. Amount doesn't matter too much, but I pour liberally because I like the sugar :3 Oh and ice, you need some of that too. Sometimes I add a little bit of water to help with the consistency, but I don't think it does much. But it is SO GOOD. It's also now a ritual of mine to make one of them every first and last day of school.

I loved Rugrats so much. I can't tell you how many times I've watched that movie where they go to Paris. I even bought the soundtrack to it, and remember that they played the Kids of America song while rambunctiously running around a water park. To anyone that loved Ed Edd and Eddy, I am about to ruin your childhood. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy was awesome too, thought it isn't too old; probably about 4-5 years old, but I watched it all through elementary and middle school. The show had a lot of easter eggs in it too, it was hilarious. There was one scene where Billy was playing some cupcake-making game on his Gamecube-esque console, then Mandy walked in, broke the game disc, and started playing Resident Evil instead. That's just awesome.

^ Zelda Informer ftw. I completely agree. Ganon has always been the stereotypical "I WILL RULE THE WORLD AND I WILL TAKE YOUR WENCH. I AM ALL POWERFUL AND AM CONFIDENT YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME. BEWARE!" Aside from a little bit of depth Wind Waker gave to him, he's always been a very boring character. The only thing going for him is the fact that his boss fights are always epic, and he looks kind of cool. Majora, on the other hand... once you understand more about him, you kind of feel bad for him. His character's pretty complex and actually has believable human emotion. He didn't necessarily want to destroy the world, but all the bitterness and tension he built up over his entire life from being mistreated and misunderstood simply reached their breaking point once the mask took control of his body. Also in Silent Hill 2, the projections of all the emotional unrest from James Sutherland essentially creating the enemies and villains of the game was pretty brilliant I'd say :3 And who doesn't think Pyramid Head is awesome, in a never-come-near-me-oh-god-you're-terrifying kind of way?

It's because the majority of the complainers post stupid complaints like this one: Being upset about an update delay isn't a problem if you don't blow it out of proportion. People wouldn't be complaining about complaining if the complaints were simply, "this sucks -.- was really looking forward to the update," rather than "omfg jagflex qa stupid as [cabbage] dont know to do there jobs wtf did they even bring bts back for. they promised updates but then delay it there all so stupid." Actually, here's an analogy! Tip.it lately has been like the rants section of the RSOF. You'll find decent, logical rants for sure, but it's still annoying to be in there because of how few good rants there are. Though I suppose the counter-complainers aren't really helping either. I dunno, I find both sides pretty annoying. There's a good reason I don't visit the runescape-themed sections of Tip.It very often nowadays. -
Jagex will give me a banhammer (wieldable, and it's 2h) so I can permaban all the idiots and trolls. And crashers too, they get annoying. Then they'll finish up the quest storylines and release free epic armor for me and the 43 remaining mature players to use. Realistically, though, I suspect a slow decline in the game as a whole to be the end of Runescape. It's probably already happening.

I can't wait to share this thread with my friends on facebook!! Joking aside, it's a nice update. The font change will take some getting used to though :P

Yup. I know too many people who's life goal is to be remembered for something, or to go in the history books. Sorry guys, not gonna happen. If you end up helping mankind foarevar and evar, that's just super, but don't plan on it. Best plan of action is to realize how temporary our existence really is, and to cherish the ease in which us humans can attain fulfillment. And to help sad people too. They need it. :)

Yeah, I'm 5'10 at about 150-160 lbs so usually medium is either a good fit or a bit too small.

Went to the Express Men store today to try on the 1MX Fitted shirts. Turns out the store is having the 40% off sale too, so I got two of them for $30 each :D Thanks for suggesting them a few months back Lent, these shirts are awesome. Best $30 I've spent on a piece of cotton in a while. My only complaint is that the medium fit perfectly, but I'm going to have to go with a large and get it tailored since it'll shrink no doubt; 97% cotton. Oh, and they wrinkle easily. Definitely not a shirt I'd wear without ironing first.

Why? Not everyone [bleep]es like a little girl when they don't get a weekly tuesday update. I would much rather have the BTS than the twitter hints, it gives me something to look forward to in the coming month. -
First few days of school's a great chance to sit with her at lunch. Just be like, "hey, I don't recognize anyone in this lunch, would you mind if I sat with you guys?" Wouldn't seem odd since, if your school is big and has quite a few different lunches like mine, it isn't strange at all for someone to not be able to find someone they know in a lunch. At least during the first week.

You can never go wrong with some Cab Calloway or Then there's always Sing Sing Sing :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62ZSQUyU00s I'm trying to learn jazz piano and guitar, it's such a ridiculous genre.

I think the problem with Scott Pilgrim is Michael Cera. He's a decent actor, sure, but his voice really annoys me and I've never liked a movie I've seen him in.

Saw Inglorious Basterds for the first time tonight. Brad Pitt is hilarious :P Interesting movie though, I want to watch it again.
