Haha yup. It's somewhat clever :P Also, this is what I've been up to: FOG is not fun. Barraging lobsters won't be either. But unicorns will be very fun :3

Finally!!! Got them on my own through FOG, wasn't exactly the most fun thing in the world. Next up is 88 summoning :D -
So while I was browsing some other forums a trend I noticed was that a few users had gradients applied to irrelevant text in their signatures, kind of like this: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO However the difference was they were all stoners and all made mediocre rainbows instead of a nice gradient like this. I decided to try it on my own and came up with the above result. It really is as easy as it looks; the bbcode for one line is this: [color="#2a1628"]O[/color][color="#2c1d2d"]O[/color][color="#2d2230"]O[/color][color="#2f2834"]O[/color][color="#2f2d39"]O[/color][color="#30323d"]O[/color][color="#313943"]O[/color][color="#314048"]O[/color][color="#30464e"]O[/color][color="#314c52"]O[/color][color="#325358"]O[/color][color="#325b5e"]O[/color][color="#346163"]O[/color][color="#346969"]O[/color][color="#32706e"]O[/color][color="#32706e"]O[/color][color="#317673"]O[/color][color="#317b78"]O[/color][color="#2f817c"]O[/color][color="#31857f"]O[/color][color="#398a83"]O[/color][color="#469287"]O[/color][color="#4c9589"]O[/color][color="#5a9c8e"]O[/color][color="#66a291"]O[/color][color="#70a893"]O[/color][color="#7bae97"]O[/color][color="#89b59a"]O[/color][color="#93ba9d"]O[/color][color="#9ec1a0"]O[/color][color="#aac6a2"]O[/color][color="#b5cda5"]O[/color][color="#c0d3a7"]O[/color][color="#c8d8a9"]O[/color][color="#d2deac"]O[/color] Which I just copied and pasted four times. So as you can see I just made a bunch of O's (34 to be exact) and specified the color, but changed that color. A lot. So it's rather obvious that it's actually really easy to make it look good, as long as you know how to make a decent gradient. The only problem is it's really boring and takes a bit of time :P But I thought these qualities would make it a good beginner tutorial since it's actually difficult to make something ugly with it. There are a few ways of doing this, but I found this worked best for me. I used photoshop, but these are very basic tools that I'm using that you can use in most other decent graphics editing programs as well. First, I started with a canvas of 8.5 x 11, since that's what I had previously worked on. Then I filled it up with a cool gradient: At first I tried manually selecting the colors and just eyeballing it, hoping I'd get an even spread of colors. That didn't work out too well >.< Then I had the idea of using the grid, one of my favorite features. In photoshop, the grid is under View > Show > Grid, or Ctrl+' in windows computers. This is what the canvas looks like when you have the grid showing: The grid is very useful to people that are perfectionists or at least like to work with high precision. Web designers also use it quite a bit. Now this is where it might get a little bit tricky. The method I used is that I would take the color from every square, and apply it to one character. In my case, that character was an O. The tricky part is that the goal is to have those tiny squares within the larger squares be small enough to give a good amount of the range of colors in your gradient, but not too small to the point where you end up using over 70 tiny squares just to complete one line! ;_; I got really lucky, and ended up with a really good size right away with a width of 8.5 inches. Now since I'm really only concerned with the horizontal aspect of the gradient, I decided to crop it down to a size of one square: That will be much easier to work with! Now this is what the code of one character is going to look like: [color="#hexadecimal"]O[/color] What you will be doing to find the color of your character is really simple actually. Use the eye dropper tool on your first box, it will select the color of that box as your default color. Then just copy the hexadecimal code and there you go! In this case, the code for this first character in your line: O will be: [color="#2c1f2e"]O[/color] Now just do that for all of the boxes and you're done! :D One thing I decided to do though, to help me keep track of which box I was one, was that I just colored in whichever box I had just finished with white, like this: Erasing probably would be a quicker method, though. THE END! Now, who wants to try a radial gradient?

Went paintballing for the first time today. It was actually really exhausting, wearing jeans and a long-sleeve t-shirt in the 90-degree sun, climbing ridiculously steep hills for four hours >.> it was a hell of a lot of fun, though. It's kind of funny, getting hit hurt worse yet not as bad as I thought it would. Like, it stung real bad for a couple seconds then was gone :P Plus, my team consisted of mostly high-schoolers and we played against army cadets and still managed to win four out of five games XD

I don't have a job, and I have other things I need to pay for other than $200 boots :P Plus I don't think I have any clothes that would compliment them nicely, either.

I don't give a damn about trends, those shoes look awesome. Even when the trend is out, if you wear them right you'll still look like a badass who knows what's up.

I don't have the money for a gaming PC, and don't want one either. 50% of the reason I'm getting a console is so I can play with my friends, and about half of them have an Xbox and the other half have PS3's. We usually go to each other's houses and play on each other's systems so it's not like the console difference is much of a problem anyways. I've also decided I'll probably be getting a PS3, since I've always wanted to play a Final Fantasy game and none of the Xbox exclusives interest me.

yay somoene who earned his, i hate guys who get pure luck, some guys have 11+ right now ive done over 400k slayer xp and 0 effigys, at least i know you did 450k each for yours so that means i could still get some my friend is luckiest ever, he logs in for first time in 3 days today, within 2 minuts he begins runecrafting at zmi he keeps rcing and teles, begins to run the path his 2nd run and sees an effigy on the ground, his abby titan killed a warrior and he got an effigy in 2 mins of runecrafting i just think its wrong how i spend 20 hours slayer and get 0, while some people spend 2 minutes RUNECRAFTING and get one It isn't wrong, it's luck. If you hate luck so much then you're playing the wrong game.

Buy 24 oversized dustpans.

So let's say there's a Nintendo owner whose only non-Nintendo gaming system he's ever owned was a PS2. Now he's considering getting a PS3 or an Xbox 360. What would you guys say to convince him to get either one? Note: cost is definitely an issue. Oh and he's me :P Games I'm interested in are MW2 (only for playing with friends really, could care less about online), Bioshock 1 & 2, Oblivion, and Fallout so far.

I actually like it, the colors remind me of A Link to the Past and Majora's Mask. I'm just saying that it seems a bit more on the childish spectrum, though :P

This is reassuring :D http://gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/06/17/aonuma-quot-i-do-not-want-to-make-zelda-easy-quot.aspx Also, anyone else notice that the boss took away two hearts per hit? I don't think this game will be as easy as the art style implies haha.

Really? I thought it was the other way around, since in P2P I'd probably lose a lot more. Of course, I do have claws, but I'm pretty sure there's actually strategy to P2P FOG anyways :P -

Only 990 tokens to go :D -
Wow I wish I had that grading scale. Those are the grades I need on my final to get a C/passing grade for the class. Passing is 65%, C is 70-79. The final counts as 20% of my grade. Lol, for Pre-calc I needed a 4% to get at least a B. I didn't study :P

I'm not going to say that's a bad plan, Maze, but you'll probably be waiting a long time.

Still another 501 for the robe top then another 1k for the robe bottom. Getting 5k charges in one round is always nice :P 5k charges to 96 or so, got 27 tokens :D -
Well, my point is that the average kid who amassed hundreds of cards during his youth probably won't get much more than $50-100 for all of them :P
-
No, Pokemon cards aren't worth anything since a lot of people still have them.
