    Today...

My robotics team meets at 7:00 at school on Saturdays throughout the year. Don't complain about waking up at 6:00 once >.> And following with the discussion of electronics, today I took apart a $5 mouse that I bought yesterday. It has two LEDs in it, a blue and a red one. I decided I want to replace the red one with a purple one so tomorrow I'm heading to Radio Shack to buy one, then on monday heading to the work shop at school for some desoldering/resoldering. Will be an AWESOME mouse. Will take before and after picz.
  2. Yes, but it would be very hectic because you would have to manually cast the spells. The autocast feature seriously messes you up when soloing, which is why it's usually not used for hybriding.

    Today...

If it makes you feel any better, last year I had the tougher AP Euro teacher in the school and had straight A's all year, yet got a 1 on the exam. However that's because I didn't study for it :P
  4. Thanks for the replies! Earlier today I got him to curse to 27 then enchant emerald rings. Got back and found out he stopped because dueling rings wouldn't sell :P

I liked it better, since there was more of the cocky/badass Tony Stark, and the whole love one bad guy and absolutely despise the other was really interesting. Plus, that "Rhodey, get down!" move was RIDICULOUS!

Drove the longest distance I've driven alone so far (~40 miles) and saw the premier of Iron Man 2. Best movie I've seen in a long time
  7. My friend's profile picture is his head photoshopped onto a guy who's shaking hands with Obama on the moon with my floating head in the background shooting laser beams at both of them. Is that what you meant? No, I mean when people try to make themselves look better. Then they do so much editing they make even the hollywood editors look like chumps. Though it is amusing to see the picture they posted have no blemishes on their face, and then the next day at school the blemishes magically reappear! Oh no... I just remembered another one. Taking a picture of themselves in an awkwardly poetic setting while looking as if they're pondering something, then having a pseudo-philosophical quote in horrible, horrible text along the side of the picture. Think, "the reason life gives u strawberries is so u can replant them and watch them grow." It hurts!! >.<'
  8. Just watched Iron Man 2, first day it came out here in America. Was absolutely brilliant. First time I've also seen an audience give applause at a scene for being so badass :D
  9. I know exactly what you mean. There's this one girl that is so stereotypical it almost seems like she's trying... For example, one day I noticed she became a fan of this one band from my school. It was interesting because they are a metal band, and she doesn't seem like the person to like metal at ALL (see: Taylor Swift/Jason Mraz fan). The next day at school I heard her talking about how much the band sucked at Battle of the Bands and how much she hated them. Plus, she makes those ridiculous statuses all the time. Just last night one of her statuses was along the line of, "omg i just made possibly the worst decision of my life" The strangest part is in person she is a completely logical person and is fun to be around. Her facebook, "personality," greatly contrasts who she seems to actually be like. Probably because she has 600+ friends and probably wants a more 'appealing' image of her to be displayed to all the cute boys she adds :l Oh, and it pisses me off when people go through great lengths to make facebook pictures look ridiculous. I'm not talking about simple lighting editing and possibly a gradient map in photoshop. I'm talking about taking pictures at specific angles (you know they're doing this when the past 5 pictures have been at the same angle) and edit the picture so much it barely even looks like they do in person. Oh, and another picture annoyance is when people do ridiculous poses. E.g. having a picture of them taken while jumping into the air, making weird faces and sticking their tongue out, etc. What ever happened to simply looking at the camera and smiling? I should probably stop my facebook pet peeves before my post turns out as long as yours did
  10. when people online dont use any punctuation or capitalization and like to press enter every sentence or at least every few sentences they also usually dont spell very well either plus there are a few here on tif that are especially obnoxious because they dont even pause during their sentences and just keep going and going but thankfully theyre mostly in the runescape boards though would suck if there were in ot lol Good lord typing that was painful :(
  11. What are some good and cheap ways to train magic from about 25-45? Note: this is mainly because my little brother recently started playing and I hate seeing him run around everywhere >.< And cost isn't too much of an issue since he's made a lot of money through chaos druids, but cheaper methods would definitely be preferred.
  12. So two weeks ago my little brother got membership. Today he mentioned he was going to play castle wars with his friends. I explained to him how it worked, as I quickly made my way to his world. He never had any idea I was coming, and... well, that was a lot of fun  +6 other one/two-hits, and even a KO from the flag
  13. You missed the point :P He's talking about the NEW uses of herblore, prayer, summoning and dungeoneering and how they affect combat in general. Super sets have always been around, but extremes and overloads have made a huge impact on combat as a whole. We already have protection prayers and piety, but now with curses we have even more factors affecting combat. And this is combat in general, not just PvP. His question was how much we think these new upgrades we've received to these skills recently affect combat as a whole, as opposed to how combat was run before these upgrades were introduced. I don't have much to say, since I only have 72 prayer, 65 herblore, 81 summoning and 23 dungeoneering  But beasts of burdens and healing familiars have definitely changed the way I play the game. For example, I probably wouldn't bother with picking up dragon bones while killing metals if I didn't have a beast of burden.
  14. Gilt's too expensive >.< I think I'll have to stick with H&M for now.
  15. To be honest I don't think any of the tipit chats are very good at all. Hyt's a bunch of, "omg hai guys!!! i'm back!!!!" "omg wb (insertnamehere) <33333333333333" x20. Then FSC, oh god, "L y r u so mad" "L i dunno, smd nerd?" ":'( u hurt me i sad i so so sad omg [/slit]", "L pro (4chan reference)" ... Though the few times the chats do have legitimate conversations they are enjoyable. But I'd prefer to be in a chat that has legitimate conversations ALL of the time :P

    MK Ultra

So in my Computer Graphics course we were assigned to make a piece based on song lyrics. The first song that came to my mind was by Muse, since the lyrics have such impressive imagery. While this was a sketchbook-only assignment, I liked the song/concept so much I decided to make a tag based on it :P The section of lyrics I based this on were: Hopefully this one actually looks as good as I think it does

    Today...

Oh trust me, there were also talks of the cafeteria workers setting trashcans on fire and sacrificing freshmen in said fire, as well as the principal showing, "narcoleptic traits," and having to be forcefully removed from the school without anyone noticing, hence making anyone else in the building leave. But I figured they were details that were obscure enough to be left out  And littleboy, history isn't very fun when your class has the attention span of a goldfish and the teacher, well, tends to get pissed off really easily. Thus she ends up yelling at kids at the top of her voice with a three-minute rant at least four times a week. Plus there's nothing to learn when you already know most of the stuff in the class :\ It gets old having to learn what D-Day is for the fourth year in a row.

    Today...

That looks absolutely delicious! *googles tompoezen recipes* Today there was a gas leak at my school so we got to stand outside for fifteen minutes. It was scary, though, because all of a sudden we heard over the speakers, "All students and faculty need to exit the building immediately. We repeat, all students and faculty need to exit the building immediately." So there were the obligatory murderer/bomb threat/kitchen fire rumors that started spreading around, since no one actually had any idea of what was happening. While we were waiting outside we started to grow a bit more concerned, since we saw ambulances and fire trucks driving into the school... Fifteen to twenty minutes later we were let back in, and then four hours later papers explaining that we had a gas leak were passed around to all the classrooms. Was fun, since it got me out of a good portion of my history class :D
  19. After just reading a little bit about it I wasn't impressed and was going to continue using CS3. But I just spent probably an hour and a half looking up youtube videos with examples of it, and... if there was ever a time to upgrade your Photoshop, this is it!!! There are sooooo many features that will just make everything in general easier, funner, and awesomer. The best part? It looks like the learning curve will be lowered, yet the prestige of Photoshop-wizardry might be even better now :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D0TgsCnwv8&feature=related I NEED THIS! Oh, and people, please don't pirate this. Adobe deserves money for making something this awesome :P

    3 new.

I actually don't like your style too much. As a minimalist, I tend to find pieces like yours too cluttered to focus on anything. Though you did make excellent use of color and you get bonus points for making a Gorillaz tag :D
  21. At least you can lie about it >.> You really need to stop making such a big deal about not getting laid..

    Today...

Well hey, at least now she knows how cool the people you hang out with online are! ... Not really  ---- Today I realized that someone on Ultimate Guitar finally tabbed Justice's final part of the Planisphere thing. It's actually a bit difficult :D
  24. Don't rely on Photoshop to boost your talent. If anything, you'll initially be a worse designer, since you'll have to adapt to Photoshop's GUI and capabilities before you can make decent work. And to be honest, I prefer GIMP for signature making. Though for any type of mildly-professional work, Photoshop is definitely the way to go :P
  25. That's fine and all, but even as an art student I would still rather be somewhat practical than wear something that looks cool but is completely ridiculous in the situation :\
