I later figured out that it's really just a harmonic minor scale without a fourth and with the seventh raised a semitone. My knowledge of theory is very limited really; all I've learned is from a relatively mediocre high school music theory course, and a bit of extra independent study. Most of my playing is based on intuition, and that's how I made this. I don't really know what you mean by modulate a disharmony, though I would assume it means switch keys to create dissonance... To give an example of my lack of theory and use of instinct: I tend to start off most chord progressions that aren't obnoxiously happy with a diminished chord, and very often have suspended fourths resolve to their original triad :lol:

There are obviously a large number of girls in the world, especially at the teen ages, that are attracted to those traits. Guys notice that and the guys that actively seek those traits are trying to get "those" types of girls. It's amusing when guys try to get those traits to impress a girl like romy who could care less about those particular traits. It's really best to just be yourself; you'll find girls that like the traits you have one day. Just realize that certain traits appeal to certain types of girls, e.g. a bioengineer might not find a frequent clubber with a substantial interest in sports very attractive. There are always exceptions, though! :lol:

That video is propoganda and you all know it. Whether it is completely real or staged does not take away from the fact that it was designed to instill animosity towards the American military and government. What was the point of the sporadic radio transmission noises in the beginning, when they were introducing the background story? For psychological impact, of course. The video clearly followed Freytag's Pyramid with definite examples of an exposition, rising action, falling action, and denouement. Though like most propoganda films it spends more time rising and in turn takes out a lot of the falling action. I'm not sure if this video is real or not and very few people will ever know if it's real because obviously both sides will argue to get people to belive it is or isn't real. I personally think it's probably real, but the way it was presented disgusts me as it is obviously propaganda. Yes, it is absolutely horrific that situations like these happen. But war has and will never be a perfect competition because humans are the competitors, and we all know how incredibly imperfect humans are. World peace is a naive concept because as humans we are engineered to enjoy hating others. People may pretend they are perfect and selfless beings, but we're all a dangerous mixture of emotions on the inside. I do agree that whether this situation is real or not does not hide the fact that many situations like this have occured previously, in this war and earlier wars, and will continue to occur in future wars. This is one of the large reasons I dislike war and will never willingly get involved with any sort of military.

Confront her about it in person. In the likely scenario Adrenal's right and she just became a fan for gits and shiggles, and will completely obliterate anychance you will ever have of dating her. But if you're lucky and she actually plays, then you get a pretty scape-buddy :3

I'm dealing with a common problem right now. I want to barrage in castle wars, but am extremely reluctant to spend my 20m cash pile. I know that three months ago I would have done anything to have this amount of money, yet now that I have it I'm too afraid to spend it :lol: I have nothing else I actually need; all I'm really doing right now are slayer and tormented demons, so I don't need any of that money actually. Yet I'm afraid that one day I'll need to spend it on herblore or prayer or summoning. Or possibly better slayer gear; perhaps if I don't spend the money and save up soon I'll have enough to buy a set of bandos or maybe even an sgs! ... But after reading this thread and the replies, I said [bleep] it and bought a set of ahrims, an sol, 1k barrages and some cw braces. Woot :} At least I think TD's are a lot of fun even though I'm terrible at killing them. At least I have a chance of making money with them :P

The whip would only increase a little, but the saradomin sword would drop quite a bit. It may be the best weapon at waterfiends, but not by much. Plus most people are still under the impression that gs's and zs's are the best.

The difference in defence bonuses between a fury and a glory is less than the defence bonuses between a set of dharoks and a set of veracs armor. Whether the fury is worth it depends on how much you value your stat bonuses. You're essentially paying 1 million for each stat bonus in all of the categories. The difference isn't nearly enough to be immediately noticeable, however it will obviously make a difference in the long run, since small prayer bonus points do make a difference and +12 defensive bonuses aren't that small either. In my opinion it isn't really worth it unless you're in a situation where you really need all the defence or prayer you can get, and have the money to spare.

There are a very large number of clan chats that have more than two people in them. The two popular ones for tip-iters are Lady Heinous and Codguy, though I don't really like either. You'll definitely find people to chat with in there, though.

I'm fairly sure Sword was referring to a commercial. I can't remember which one though :(

Just watched Angels and Demons. Was a fantastic movie, very suspenseful.

Actually I just hate using them. They can definitely look good, but I just hate browsing the webs trying to find the perfect C4D to go with my tag, because it takes forever and also feels sort of un-artistic. If that's what you want to call it. I still think it's rather decent even if it is boring... I'll make a kickass one tomorrow I guess :\

Yeah, that's almost what I was going for. Just a tag that doesn't really stand out but doesn't look bad by any means. I personally think I succeeded with that. And with renders, I don't actively look for a render with good posture/flow/etc. I just pick the render of whatever game I really like at the moment :lol: I dunno, I might make another tag with that render, but one that IS ridiculously explosive and dramatic, that kinda summarizes the emotion of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2E17Nk6Flg It's a beautiful video game in regards to graphics, music, and storyline. I kinda want to capture that game in one moment and make it into one tag. It'll probably have a lot of contrast, and will also probably be desaturated quite a bit. I was bored and realized I hadn't made a tag in a while so I made one. It's pretty simple because that's usually what I like in tags; too many effects hurt my eyes. Plus I kind of hate C4D's, so I try and make everything original except for the render. It was mostly just making a bunch of different colored clouds, warping them and setting them to soft light to make the background, there's about eight cloud layers total :P Then I put in the render, did some erasing/brushing over to make him fit in a bit, then did some image adjustments to make it look epic. It's simple, and I like it quite a bit.

My friend and I were at the mall earlier today. The food court has TV's hanging from the ceiling that play whatever music videos are popular at the moment, and one of the songs that was played was absolutely ridiculous. We couldn't hear it very well, and we missed the name, but it seemed to start off rather poppy, with a girl singing and playing guitar, and then there was this pointless guitar solo that lasted at least three minutes and went absolutely nowhere. There was the same girl and another guy that played the solo together. Anyone know what the song is? :P

I'm curious, what stereotypes would those be?

Not much, but I think it's helped me appreciate the diversity on the internet. I mean, I'm talking to people thousands of miles away that I'll never meet by making this post! Fascinating stuff. Oh, and that glass is nommable but isn't really a good thing to nom.

^ The point was the player mod is able to talk to the player, even if their chat is off. If they don't respond to a mod talking, they're either afk, botting, or really grumpy.

My setup includes 8 p pots, 2 super + range sets, and the rest of the inventory filled with necessary itemsand monkfish. Then I've got a tortoise full of monks. I would use a titan, but they don't work in the northeast spot because they can't see you. So I take a bunyip instead.

Finally getting decent at TD's :D Lasted as long as my prayer pots would last me this time, rather than my food. Which was about twelve kills. I think I might be able to reach 20 with a slight alter to my setup, but that would make a two-hour trip and I wouldn't want that. I think right now I need to work on getting my stats up so I can kill faster. It's more fun when I'm having trouble keeping up with switching weapons because I'm killing so fast, but that rarely happens D: Oh and a uni, that would be nice too.

I agree that it should be public for now. While I do like the concept of keeping the submissions anonymous because, knowing the Runescape boards, it'll be more of a popularity contest than an outfit contest, I think it'll be a lot more boring that way. I'd suggest keeping it public for a few rounds, and if it gets popular then you could move it to anonymous submission.
