  1. Does anyone know if EVs carry with evolutions? For example, could I completely EV a ghastly and, as it evolves, keep all previous EVs without any other EVs added or subtracted during the evolution process? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I don't really want to risk it without being 100% sure :\
  2. Reward: [hide] Pic of the rabbit ears: Right-clicking in the equipment interface the ears gives you access to the Juggle emote, where a squirrel appears out of the ground and runs around your body. Right-clicking the ears in the equipment interface also allows you to summon two squirrels, Charlie and Fluffy. [/hide] Also, I redid the management activity because I took 16 turns my first try. I got it in 14 this time, but I can't find out how to get my extra reward :x
  3. Oh wow, this might be the first time I've ever been on early enough to do the event and not see the reward after 5 seconds of being in the game! :P
  4. Yeah, I'm doing something similar to sseli with 65-70 herb, 71-75 prayer, 70-84 herb, 75-80 prayer, 84-88 herb, 80 - 92 prayer, 88-92 herb, 92-95 prayer. I'm taking it slow since my bank right now is at about 38m total; not nearly the ~400m I'll need :P
  5. Funny, this is exactly what I've been thinking about as well  combats around 90, 71 prayer, 65 herb, going to slay, monsterhunt and use mtk for cash. I'll be watching this thread :P

3 guys without weapons run into 5 guys lookin' for trouble. Bad situation. 3 guys with weapons run into 5 guys lookin' for trouble. It's at least a bit better.

    MTK

Qeltar's right, herbs 100% and maples 50% is easily the best combination. The money you get from the nests is rather impressive.
  8. Anyone think a Gyarados with 252 att, 128 def and 128 spd with Lax nature is a bad idea? I know it's a bit weird, but I just want to see how awesome I can make my red Gyarados :3 edit: Horn drill and Fissure would be one-hit KO moves.
  9. I agree, I'm not completely interested with 3D. It doesn't add any gameplay elements, only visual effects, and if it's going to be a new system it should definitely have tools for giving developers chances to be more creative with gameplay. Though I don't know if they're planning something different than the 3D I'm expecting; I doubt it, but it could be something similar to that game that moves the perspective based off of values the camera reads. I also agree that new DS's are getting really old >.> My little brother's gotten all the new ones, and my original bulky silver one has had less problems than his have. I really hope this one's actually new.

Are you actually saying that a stick shift is a good reason to not drive a car? What the hell is wrong with you?! D:
  13. There is only bad music in the subjective sense. Whoever legitimately claims any genre of music to literally be bad is a close-minded elitist that obviously doesn't know what music even is.
  14. I just completed the light house, sailed to cianwood defeating all trainers along the way, sailed back and ran to ecruteak to get strength, then headed back to cianwood, only to turn the game off without saving. Dammit.
  15. Wow you sound like a camper. Play for score rather than fun. "Omg lets do headshots for stats weeee." If I can use "cheaper" strategies to consistently win games, why would I not do that? What is "fun" about playing in a method that would cause you a higher chance of losing? Lets compare today's games to card games. The object of poker (5 card draw) is to get the best hand possible. You have fun when you are succeeding at the objective of the game. You do this by holding onto the cards that give you the highest chance of getting a better hand. Nobody ever says "Red is boring...I am gonna throw away my aces of hearts and diamonds, so I can have cards that look more fun." Nobody says "OMG you held onto your kings? Kings are so OP and cheap..." Today is quite a different story. Camping is "boring". Rocket launchers are "lame". Hiding is "cheap". Winning is everything in a game. I think the problem is that people have too much trouble ACTUALLY winning (by topping the scores), so they pretend the goal of the game is something else. Like "regardless of score, play the most 'skillfully' " Or something like that. I always hear "omg nub, that weapon takes no skill" Why would I want to hinder my killing capabilities by using a method that makes it harder? I'm pretty much the obnoxious noob at FPS's. I like to die as much as I can in as funny ways as I can, and I think it's fun to watch people's reactions. I don't do things like this in other games, though, where I might actually ruin something someone spent hours upon hours getting (I'm looking at you, rushers.). I just like to be an annoying [puncture] for 5 minutes. That's what I think is fun in a game. When I'm actually playing seriously (I still suck when I do though), I try to find fun and unique ways to kill people. It's never efficient, but if I can get myself to laugh while also scoring a kill, then I'll be happy. Some people actually like grinding. Granted, most of the people that say they do are lying, but it isn't completely illogical for someone to enjoy repeating mindless tasks for hours, giving them time to let their mind relax/wander. Some people like playing matches where both players are fairly matched, because they think it's fun to try and beat someone who has just as good a chance at winning. Your method of playing is completely fine, and although most people complaining are just sore losers, there are people who legitimately enjoy not using overpowered weapons and such. I actually prefer your style of playing in single-player games. Most people say cheats ruin the fun, but I personally think it's a hell of a lot of fun to get super-awesome-ultra power-ups and completely annihilate enemies I used to have trouble with. Though when I'm playing with other people my ethical side tells me to try to play fairly, and I do.

I remember a few months ago you would always post that one pic of the guy tilting his glasses down, looking up from a newspaper. But now you seem to have the perfect picture/gif for any situation :P
  17. Heh, my friend already has 3 legitimate level 100's and only has 14 badges. Well, he said they're legitimate, and I kinda believe him. >-> <-< *is skeptical now* So far I've got nearly 8 hours on the game and only 3 badges :\
  18. Nice thoughts for an idealist. I can agree with the social fabric concept 100%, but for everything else... it would be very naive to assume that these traits will help gamers save the world. Games are just an escape, similar to television and books. How come people have read stories of heroes conquering nations that had similar traits to the reader, yet haven't done anything about it yet? The same reason that gamers haven't yet and will never utilize their skills to achieve real life "epic win's."
  19. I love your new signature so much!

  20. You guys should really grow up and get off each others backs :\

I used to live like an hour away from Disney, so I went there probably ~8 times, not including the 4 field trips throughout elementary and middle school :P . Epcot's easily the best part of Disney, though the Magic Kingdom is still pretty fun. But Disney has never and will never be better than Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. :notalk: Edit: Just remembered, Epcot is not the best. Disney Quest and La Nouba are easily the best parts of Disney. Oh man I want to go back there so badly now D:
  22. Obvious brush strokes are obvious D: And I lol'd at the TIF re-sizer. Shrunk it down to 97%
  23. I dun get it... [/hide]I'm full hp on the stats interface, yet it shows 737@ the top health interface. That's the whole reason they made the constitution update. Now your life points don't affect your constitution skill in the stats interface. Now they can create armor or potions that will bump up your constitution to maybe 110/99. Now, your max life points would be 1100. Unlike brews and ooglog pools just pushing your HP temporarily above its max, now yours has actually been moved up to where you can eat a shark from 900 to 1100 life points, until it drains back to normal. On the other end, they could also make weapons that lower your constitution, making your max life points temporarily go down from 990 to 750 or something :P Or armor with super awesome offensive bonuses that lower your def and constitution :o That would be an interesting trade-off.
  24. Yeah, beta testing is essentially QA testing. It's not fun at all but how most people get into the industry. It's pretty much playing games all day, but kind of like this: Your job for the next two weeks is to test the Luigi's Castle of Doom track in the new Mario Kart game. You'll probably spend 25-30 hours playing the track multiple times with every possible character and kart combination to make sure there are no bugs. When you do find a bug, you'll write a detailed report about the bug. It'll be a lot of monotony and a lot of writing. I feel bad for the guys who had to bug test the water dungeon in OOT o.o
  25. My friend saw FOT on Saturday. Got a picture with Frank. It's cool, 'cause he got pictures with Tom and Andrew back in October but couldn't find Frank :P My parents still don't want me to go to the gig in April. I'll convince them though, I HAVE to see them live D:!
