Reminds me of a county nearby that's now using an even more censored version of Anne Frank because a parent complained about sexual references. Because we all know the best way to learn from history is to censor it.

Well, in my school there's this kid who was homeschooled for fourteen years and is now taking his first year of public school as a sophomore. He's very nice and outgoing, and I'd say less cynical/pessimistic than most of the kids. I dunno, just know that most people won't talk to you unless you talk to them first. Making friends isn't hard if you're friendly and don't have trouble starting conversations.

I think it's really weird and would reconsider my relationship if my girlfriend suggested it. But my phone doesn't work pictures, so I couldn't even if I tried :P

TIF's Unofficial YouTube Channel (TIF HowTo by Rangeor: PIANO SKILLS)
rangeor replied to l0rd's topic in General Discussion
It isn't the harmonic minor. The harmonic minor doesn't include a major third or as many minor seconds. It's just the minor third that makes it sound like the harmonic minor. Plus I think this "scale" is better for Egyptian/creepy music than the gypsy/harmonc minor scales. -

I agree with this, to some extent. I don't like how, like ilovecuttingyews mentioned, that he, "shoots for mars and lands on the moon." That is very, very frustrating. However he's doing much better than Idison ever did and I would not say he's doing a bad job. The community outreach is nice as well, and there have been good updates. Though the game definitely seems to be slowing down, and I don't see Runescape lasting too much longer (or at least keeping my attention for too much longer) unless this new skill or some other new update is great.

Yeah, keep in mind that Chief Delphi is muuuuch different than TIF. Take a look at any section of CD, then take a quick look at Rate This. Big maturity difference. If you're participating this year, then good luck! I quite like breakaway, especially the low-scores part of it :D

Probably your biggest issue that you seemed to have fixed with the second version is the fact that your background harshly contrasted with your render. Try to make sure the colors and the movement of the background complement your render, rather than work against it. If you do want to have heavily contrasting themes, work them into both the render and the background. As for blending the render, try smudging/using motion blurs to give the background good flow. Then duplicate it, move it above your render layer, and erase some of it so that it looks like the background is some sort of fluid that is passing through your render, if you get what I mean.

That's very close minded. Also, the only thing it really does well happens to be practicality. It's the perfect gift for your parents/grandparents, average student going to university that needs a computer, sibling, etc. It has only what you need, but takes all that and gives it to you in a much better way than all of the other computers. Its iBook feature is better than the Kindle ever was, its iWork suite is much better than Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2010, it performs much better than windows computers, it's much smaller and lighter, and easier to navigate and use. It's practical in the sense that it uses the bare basics better than everyone else has done. Now, obviously for most of use who have specific interests that require heavier computing power this is not what we are looking for. It is however raising the standards of what a computer should be able to do at the least, and other companies will have to catch up before apple does make computers capable of doing what the iPad does as well as what other computers currently do, or some other crazy innovation.
-
$500! Not bad! Plus unlimited wifi for $30/month... And the iWork looks great... the iPad's looking pretty good! Actually it's pretty brilliant; it takes everything most people need in a netbook and makes them better than what anyone else has done. By far the best word processing program, most interactive and fun general computer use, the easiest access to multimedia, and cheap internet access. Plus it's got what seems to be a good painting program for digital artists... For people looking for a specialized PC for gaming, music production, or 3D modeling and animation, this definitely isn't for them. But for anyone looking to buy a netbook and any casual buyer of a computer, it completes and exceeds everything they'd need in the computer they're looking for. I think that's what Apple was trying to do with this; not create a new innovative platform, but completely take control of the market of netbooks/casual computer sales. Yeah, it has everything one would need in a computer and executes it well. Plus people are saying it's incredibly fast, which is nice.

So far, it looks like a very good iPod Touch. I'd even go as far as saying they've perfected the iPod Touch with this. It might also revolutionize gaming with the multi-touch feature. However, like I said before, I don't see this being entirely worth the $700-1000 the rumors have assumed unless they reveal something groundbreaking at the end.

Currently watching the release of the iPad. So far it looks like a larger and improved iTouch iPod Touch, nothing that impresses me yet. Though knowing Apple they've got to have some trick up their sleeve... It's also pretty small. [hide=iPad] [/hide]

I like to play piano, sleep, or mindlessly browse the internet.

You can usually find decent clothes at most department stores. Where I live, at least.

The "ghost" was just a part of the animations where the players became transparent for a quick second. There is no Hazelmere. I predict on Tuesday, we'll see, "The tremor you all experience last Saturday was the result of... The Orb of Oculus being created from infected runite deep in the depths of the Chaos Tunnels! Also, you can now mine infected runite and use it to make runite armor that heals one hitpoint per minute! Incredible! The enhanceable armor you've all been waiting for is finally here!" Woohoo! Oh, but to balance the massive hitpoints gain they had to remove some of the ranged defence from infected runite armor. And normal rune armor as well. But then adamant had nearly the same ranged defence as rune, so to keep the balance they had to remove some ranged bonus from all metal armors. It's gotta be fair!

As said, it's fairly obvious to anyone with a decent amount of experience with computer graphics that he used premade brushes for the birds/plants. However he used them very tastefully and overall the piece looks pretty great, especially for being done in 15 minutes.

Today in math I was bored so I drew a dartboard on a piece of paper and played by dropping my pencil on it. I only did it 'cause I was bored but I realized making board games and playing them with girls would probably be a good way to escalate a friendship. It was real fun though, because I would add in random rings that subtracted 15 points instead of giving points

It's a bit audacious, but I made a scale today. It's only got six notes, but it sounds much creepier than the harmonic minor scale. The formula is second, minor second, major third, minor second, minor third, minor second. I quite like it using the root as d#. Fun fun fun! Edit: Biology and chemistry both suck. Physics is where it's at!
-
Heh I have that one. I don't like it anymore, though. Actually I don't even like hoodies anymore. Root beer tastes really good, sort of like a sweeter version of Coke. I've never had beer but it definitely doesn't smell like root beer. Smells much worse.

I was in a grumpy mood earlier today. Then I played some piano and took a nap and was happy again. Then I found out Fall of Troy are touring North America again and aren't coming to my location, AGAIN  Grumpy mood re-activate!!

A gray sports coat, a solid black shirt and dark blue slim jeans is an outfit I've worn quite often this fall/winter. I really like the sports coat, it looks good with almost anything :D

If you're so upset about it, find a way to prove them wrong.
