Wow that's awesome! What do you use to connect the pieces of paper together?

I worked on this for probably five hours, though most of the time was spent doing things that I really didn't need to do :P It sort of takes from my two favorite "genres" of art, surrealism and minimalism, and combines them into one. It wasn't really the intention, but most things I do end up reflecting those "genres" anyways. I'm not sure how to explain how I did it, but there was a little bit of digital painting... and no filters and it's all original work... Also, I haven't been as active here in the gallery other than the occasional criticism post for the past few months because my life's gotten pretty busy. Luckily, thanks to the holidays, I've got two weeks of stress-free-sleeping-in-past-noon fun and FREE TIME! But things are going to get even more hectic in January and probably won't lighten up until at least March, more likely May :sad: Minimalism is cool!

What's everyone talking about "the one I got from the quest"? I've done all the quests except from Within the Light, and I haven't received one yet o.O Anyways, they look pretty tasty to me.

Honestly, most people have the ability to look attractive if they take care of themselves, and most of the time it's easy to tell whether someone cares about their appearance or are just unfortunate. I don't avoid talking to unattractive people at all, obviously they have just as great of a chance to be fun to be around as an attractive person, but I always realize that their priorities lie elsewhere and don't consider them very liable for dating.

It was supposed to start today for me, too. But the snowstorm cancelled school Monday, Tuesday, and today, so it technically started last Friday. :thumbsup: Haha same here. I was thankful until I went to go Christmas shopping. Took an hour and a half to get to a mall that's normally thirty minutes away -.-

What?! NEVER put a sun in the corner!!! Never!!! When you look outside, is the sun always in the corner of your perspective? I'd hope not!!! Also, I don't see the dragon casting any shadows. I think the dragon looks great, but it's very out of place because the rest of it looks rushed when compared to the detail of the dragon.

They aren't, "rules," they're tested methods of getting things to look good. There are no rules in art, which is what I like about it, but if you don't follow the suggestions (e.g. do not shade in only black), then good luck getting your artwork to look good.
