  1. Very good job, this is much better than the original! :D
  2. Uhhh, copper is a metal. Yeah, I'm not sure what type of metal it was. This information was relayed from the piano tuner to my mom to me, and my mom isn't the best listener... Though I do know that it doesn't contain any copper in it which indicates it was made during World War I :P
  3. Well, I found out recently my piano was made during World War I. That's because the pieces are made with metal, and the only time pianos were made with metal rather than copper was because during World War I America took all the copper to put towards the war, so pianos had to be made with metal!

  7. I really like the colors in the Dragonball Z one and the depth in the bass guitar one.
  8. The Album "In The Unlikely Event" by The Fall of Troy. Finally got around to buying the CD today. It's a lot different, but I'm starting to like it. Nobody's Perfect is my favorite song so far :-D
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMbVPMzSqYY&feature=featured I can't stop watching the Charlie Bit My Finger part
  10. This eerily reminds me of The Andromeda Strain :ohnoes:
  11. What people are trying to say is that if you're making a pixel piece, you need to fill in EVERY pixel one by one. Using brushes is cheating and makes it look a lot different.

    Today...

Today I had an expert look at my family's piano, since it's very out of tune and some of the keys won't even make a sound. The reason the keys weren't making any sounds is because there was a part laying on the strings  and he's going to come back to tune it and fix up a couple more things on December 9th! He also told us that, because of the make, we can assume it was made during World War I :o! He's going to find out the exact date too. So cool!
  13. Why don't any of the objects have shadows?
  14. Welcome to TIF! I'll give you a 5/10 - Aside from your 99's your stats are pretty even. Like Pikachu suggested, I recommend going for all stats 50+ then 60+ :)

Parents aren't only to blame. The introduction of the Internet has had a major effect on how kids are raised, and I don't think parents have yet adopted a method of properly treating their kids in this situation. Raising a child today is much different than it was fifteen years ago.

    Food

Once my dad gets home in about ten minutes, I'm eating Firehouse Subs! I'm ecstatic! :D EDIT: Yum, that was delicious!
  17. I got the Metroid Prime Trilogy about a month ago. Just beat the first game today. It's really a great game. It's different because it gives you an extreme sense of isolation; in the first game, there is NO dialogue. There is a story, but you get it from scanning objects, which gives a sentence or two about its history or what it contains. There's also not much help given, just a hint that pops up every now and then that says, "go right here," but getting to there isn't specified and is where the fun comes in. It's really just an exploration game - you don't even find out who the bad guys are until the middle of the game! You just... explore. And if you see something that moves, you shoot it.

    Today...

I remember last year I participated in No Shave November but only grew half a beard (I'd only shave half of my face). I don't really care this year though.

HAHAHA TRUE! 90's Nickalodeon destroys anythign that's on TV these days. When I have a kid, I'm dowloading every episode of every show from that era and making them watch that instead of whatevers on at that point in time. Spongebob was just as terrible as the shows on today. They both have random humor, where if you don't get what's happening, you laugh. GOOD cartoons were shows like Scooby Doo with fun yet predictable plots and a bit of humor. However I'll admit some of the cartoon shows today aren't about random humor, and are just stupid... But we also had those back in the 90s.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3PyoUPcobA&feature=player_embedded Wow...
  21. Now why does any of this matter? 99 strength still grants you the ability to hit extremely high numbers, regardless of how many people have it.
  22. I've been there a few times. It really is huge! RIP to all those killed :(
  23. I didn't like The Night Watchman. It just felt like a bunch of random, unresolved melodies. The bell tolling was a very neat idea, but I don't think it was executed well. The others were nice though, however the only one that really caught my attention was In a Far Away Land. I love instrumental piano music though, and I would love to hear some of your other work :D Also, while I was listening I couldn't help but think a lot of this was influenced by Koji Kondo, more specifically his work in the Zelda games. Am I wrong? :P
  24. Isn't that exactly what 7 year old kids find humor in? It did its job and some people still like it because of the nostalgia.
  25. I just watched it. Anyone that used to like the show should definitely watch it, it's a great finale. There are a few references to past episodes and they break the fourth wall a couple times as well.
