  1. I could try something. The banner might not look too great with all of that added in it, though.

I just like to track Nadril's progress. Other than that I don't look at the left panel other than to look at avatars.
  3. Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes Bought the sheet music for it, but the rhythm is really strange so I've been listening to it a lot. The solo's not as bad as I was expecting, but still pretty crazy. Click insert media (far right button) and then copy and paste the youtube URL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8p5BwH5o1I0
  4. Well, the first and probably most important step would be to retake the first two screenshots as .PNG's :P
  5. Awesome, finished all quests. The cape's ugly though. I wish I didn't spend 99k on it :P
  6. That's because the more expensive drops you get the more profit you make.
  7. If you listen to the song once you'll notice it. Planisphere from Justice
  8. Haha I was trying to compliment it using lyrics from the song :P Nobody's Perfect by The Fall of Troy. It's of my favorites from the new album!
  9. Straighjacket Keelhauled by The Fall of Troy This song is [bleep]ing ridiculous!
  10. Have you guys noticed in Rate This, whenever someone gets level 99 in a skill, chances are they'll say something like, "4th cape - Fishing." Rather than, "4th 99 skill - Fishing."
  11. If you're going to pick a Nintendo game, you might as well say you like Nintendo music since Koji Kondo has written the majority of the music for their games :P He's a genius.
  12. You guys are acting like music lessons were a bad thing! I would love to have singing or piano lessons right now :( They made me not play video games during weekdays. That sucked the most around middleschool. I also had to play baseball and basketball every year through elementary school, then I chose to play basketball through the rest of middleschool.
  13. Most people just do it for attention. When I got my first 99 I wanted to have a cool cape so people would notice and respect me but I wanted to try something easy to see if I could handle getting 99 in a difficult skill, so I got 99 fletching. Then I got 99 range because of how useful it is. Then I got 99 magic so I could at least get a bit of closure in the game (first day I played I told my friend I would be a level 1 million 99 wizard). I used to look at the capes as a way of showing off, now I see them as items that can sometimes help establish/reinforce a color scheme in an outfit :P
  14. Congrats on getting a useless 99 skill :P 9/10
  15. I can see why people would like moshing, but it really annoys me when I'm standing away from it and people start pushing me inside, or someone gets pushed and knocks into me.
  16. Ugh Ocarina of Time is really overrated. It's not even the best Zelda game! The storyline is terrible and its only qualities it has over other Zelda games is length. Majora's mask is MUCH better because it's more difficult, has a great story, the game actually has a set atmosphere, and it's more creative. Ocarina of Time is just your standard, "Hey I'm a hero and I need to save the princess from this villian!" Yes, it's a great game, but people give it a lot more credit than it deserves. Anyways, my favorite game by far is Majora's Mask. I'll probably overrate it myself, but I don't care. It's brilliant. The game keeps all of the features from Ocarina of Time and then adds some more, the biggest part being the mask system. The story's also much better - you're not saving a princess, you're saving an entire world. There's a social outcast that's been treated like [cabbage] all his life and he finds a mask that pretty much gives him the power to do whatever he wants, so he tries to destroy the world. I'm not going to go into any more, but it really is a mature game. Not mature in the sense that it has blood and gore, but it has REAL maturity in the sense that the player is forced to face the most primal emotions all at once during the game; the emotions of fear, anxiety, and hopelessness. You've got three days to save the world and if you don't finish, you're dead. An interesting thing about it is the palette - it uses bright colors just like Ocarina of Time did, but it uses harsher colors. So you've got strong greens, purples and oranges all staring at you, making you feel uncomfortable and uneasy. The puzzles are also a lot harder than in Ocarina of Time. Well, in a strange way... the water temple from Ocarina of Time is probably the most difficult (and annoying -.-) Zelda dungeon, but as a game Majora's Mask is much more difficult. The game also deals with death a lot. Not the dying then re spawning type of death, the type of death where NPC's actually die and affect the storyline. I'd say the only downside is that you're kid link the entire time and that they haven't made a sequel/remade it with better graphics! I also like the Tales of Symphonia games a lot. The gameplay's great and they've got 60+ hours of gameplay each. The first game is so long it's split into two discs! They've also got an interesting storyline. It's not necessarily good, it's pretty cliche, but it keeps you hooked and when you've finished the game it almost feels like you read a book. Again, I really like the gameplay, it's easy to get used to and feels great! Then I like Super Mario Galaxy/Sunshine and the Fire Emblem series because they're just so damn fun! Stories are cheesy and have been used to death, but they've got immense replay value and Super Mario Galaxy has amazing graphics and music. The gameplay's pretty creative too.
  17. Oh, I was told by numerous people that it was a bomb. Now I feel like an idiot :P I'll go change the topic title.
  18. Download GIMP and start trying out tutorials. It really doesn't take much talent to create a good tag, you just need to know what looks good and what doesn't.
  19. Apparently tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM Eastern NASA will be launching two spacecraft at the moon in hopes of finding water. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2263229/nasa_bombing_moon_in_quest_to_find.html?cat=15 Let's just hope they're not spending too much money on this, because I really doubt they're going to find any water :\
  20. Eysenck started the criticism on the "type" kind of personality study iirc, and studies done backed up his idea that "types" are not valid ways of measuring personality. The IPIP NEO just measures the Big Five separately and doesn't attempt to link them together or anything like that. I also like that the IPIP NEO uses the Lickert scale (scale of 1 - 5, 1 being strongly agree, 5 vice versa) as opposed to just T or F. Not to mention the IPIP NEO specifically measures the big five, which have been tested every 10 years for the past 150 years successfully. IIRC, there is no statistical evidence to support the types theory, so it's done using traits now (Which have been organized into the Big Five). I mean, you can do the Myers Briggs and believe it if you want, but if you want a more accurate test try out the IPIP NEO. All of the Meyers Briggs tests I've taken have used the Lickert scale. Does that mean that there are fake tests? o.O I love personality psychology though. Even though it's always been and always will be theory, I find it very fascinating.
  21. Neither, I'm starting to become more of an autumn kind of guy. But if I'd have to pick from summer or winter, I'd say summer. I like the sun and I HATE it when it rains then ices over. I never had to deal with that in Florida!
  22. On September 29th I went to my first real concert. I've been to a few gigs before, but not a real concert. Saw Muse and a few songs from U2, it was awesome! We even got about ten feet from the band when they came out. Our seats were actually all the way up here: But we didn't even head up there until after Muse finished playing. When we first entered the stadium we were about an hour and a half early so we headed through the first opening we saw (on the first floor) to get a good look of the stadium. Then we started talking to a security guard on the floor and found out the railing we were leaning against was actually right next to where the bands came out of! I'm pretty sure at that point Muse is standing in the opening, and Matt was talking with a few people that looked pretty official. They stood there for about a minute or two, then all of the lights in the stadium went off (it got REALLY dark!) and they stayed for a couple more minutes before heading towards the stage. I swear, I was close enough to make out their faces even in the dark, it was so cool! Here's one of the videos, of starlight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuUeCnghbUo&feature=channel
  23. Am I the only Tip.it-er that thinks it was a great album? I've already transcribed two songs :(
  24. Muahaha! It worked! *high fives istolethepie*
