A graphical update for the high-scores and forums, infinite amounts of ore available in each rock so mining becomes the same as woodcutting, removal of the make-x function, and an unannounced text change. I honestly have no idea what they're planning. Even though I really shouldn't, I have high expectations since they haven't released anything in three weeks and it's a new year.

Quite a few of my best friends from elementary school have drifted away. They also ignored my facebook friend requests :P Same with middle school, but that's probably because we're all 875 miles apart now... Plus one of my neighbors died in Iraq two years ago. Actually, it'll be two years from the monday two weeks from now. He was really cool, he taught me how to throw a knife and got me into System of a Down. This was his favorite song, and when I listen to it now it feels kind of surreal. Oh, and a guy I talked a few times from middle school died in a weight-lifting accident. He was benching without a spotter and the bell landed on his neck, and when his mom checked up on him for dinner she found him unconscious with a barbell on his neck... He was a cool guy, and his yearbook picture was right next to mine. Then some other kid from my biology class in middle school died from some illness. I never really knew him though.

I've read quite a bit about it, and I kind of want to see it now. Apparently they use a new sort of camera that shoots what's called 5D, where the scenes and 3D effects are already rendered, and they actually film in live-action. As in, you look in the camera and see the people moving as if they were in the real movie (using low-poly resolutions, of course, full detail would be much more than the camera can handle), meaning they can get better shots than filming and then adding on the effects. Plus the creator was pretty brilliant; he said he designed the movie to make you really want to visit Pandora, for the viewer to want to see it again and again. From what I've gathered from my friends and this forum, it appears he's succeeded in that :P You guys are doing great, keep on buying those tickets. The animation industry needs your moneysupport.

This thread is stupid. People - Queltar is right, you're wrong. We're all nerds, Diamant is just a bigger nerd. Is how she plays healthy? No. But who are you to judge? Also, if she really was addicted, she/someone close to her would have noticed by now and attempted to get help.

FRC huh? These next six weeks will be very... very hectic ;_; But hopefully we'll be seeing you guys in Atlanta! ;) Good job, building a house can be pretty satisfying at level 55; I can imagine it must have been a ton of fun at 98  10/10 -
Range aviansies and use the money you make to buy chinchompas. It's about 100-120k exp/hour and it's free. Here's the logic: Chinchompas are easily the quickest method to getting 99 range, boasting exp rates of up to 300k exp/hour. Aviansies are easily the most profitable (reliable) method of making money with ranged and give decent exp, so combining them gives an even alternative. So let's say one trip of chinning you bring 2k chins. This will get you about 500k exp and will take a bit under two hours to complete. However, with the chins and potions it will cost you about 1.5m gp. Now, aviansies give about 400k gp/hour (actually up to 700-800k but the average player with average stats using known methods will make about 400k/hour) and about 30k exp/hour. So to get the money you raise 1.6m by slaying aviansies for four hours, and gain 120k exp in the process. You use the money to buy chins and go get your 500k exp in two hours. This equals to 620k exp in six hours of effort, and dividing it out gives you an average of 105k exp/hour. Now, I was being generous with the numbers as well as using red chinchompa rates at level 80 ranged, so if you're efficient you can probably reach 120k exp/hour for free. Most other methods (like yaks) are always crowded and rarely reach 70-80k exp/hour and cost money, so this method is optimal. Plus chinning is quite a bit of fun

The only thing you can do to ruin the shortcut is to lead him all the way to the end of waterbirth, which you won't do by accident if your intent is to only use it as a shortcut :P I agree Qeltar. Except I'm hoping the fix will allow the people who finished the quest to use the shortcut! It would be sooo useful

You do the quest up until the point where you must go to waterbirth island to save King Vargas. Talk to Bardur to get a rope by the entrance, then go west and go down the hole. You'll find King Vargas and if you agree to help him you'll appear in the room right before the big room with all 3 monsters, plus the rock lobsters most people stop at. Now, the trick is instead of helping him all the way to the end, you get him killed. This is because if he's alive and you go down to the Dagganoth Kings' lair, you'll start over. So just kill him and then you're free to go.

You guys should have required a ridiculous item to carry, like the bananarum sodb used. Timestamps from the adventurer's log work, I guess... But they're not as fun :D -
Found this little excerpt from my Web Design Fundamentals course book: And, considering the fact that the course is in the exact same layout as the course I just finished, I wouldn't be surprised if on the final exam I had a question regarding trolls xD

Oh wow, very nice progress. That was fun to follow. Good job and good luck :) Also, is there a reason you kept summoning off for so long? -
So you're going to hurt the retail store for something that is completely Microsoft's fault?

White? I don't see any white parts o.O But the yellow/green parts, yeah some of them are supposed to be a bit blurry. I actually tried to make the whole thing a tad blurry to give it a foggy, dream-like sort of feel.

For KC, what I do is I kill all the monsters that I spawn, except for skeletons. Because I hate the skeletons. Then when I get into the chest room I kill all of the monsters in there, including skeletons. This usually gets me at least 10 KC, sometimes more sometimes less.

Heh, there's a pure named I Gullible I on the list.

Yeah I'm fine with your definition. It's just the whole "if you like Nintendo/Sony/FPS's/JRPG's/etc. then you aren't a true gamer!" attitude that pisses me off. It's just elitist and stupid. I can't believe some people get into arguments over it :-|

Hey! It's Koji Kondo, not Kenji Kondo! And yes, he does rock :D Anyways, this piece isn't from Koji, but I think it's one of the best tributes made to him. I can't find anything wrong with it; it's got perfect tension and release, while still constantly building up anticipation, and it basically summarizes the entire game in one short piece of music, and does it well. It's a great piece of music from both a musician's standpoint and a consumer's standpoint. Plus, every time I watch it I still get that feeling I got when I first watched it, "HOLY [cabbage] THIS LOOKS SO COOL I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT COMES OUT!!! Oh.. right... It's upstairs in a case... and I've beat it three times..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqUqxVKd5q0
