  1. I found Green Dragons to be very good. With mediocre stats(average melee stat at 66) I was making 120K and hour. Also, Manage Thy Kingdom with the addition of Royal Trouble is very nice profit. Set it on fishing raw, and the rest on either flax or coal(proven to be the best). If you'd like a non-combat method, running essence to the nature altar makes good money. And for skilling... nothing's really amazing without the accompanying amazing stats.
  2. If you're doing Yews then out back of the Lumbridge castle is near a bank and nearly never crowded.
  3. Majority of these are wrong. I did some maths on it, but people corrected me, and showed the mathematically best profit. It is raw fish, followed by cooked fish, followed by I think Flax. It was on some sort of Runescape Wiki.
  4. Actually, they might not. Currently the source is a lot lower than the demand(which creates the rise. However, it is possible people might not realise they suck, and therefore keep buying them. So, they could go higher.
  5. Pull one of the appendage. Or try looking yourself. There's a website for a reason.
  6. I was trying to do the Haunted Mine Quest, and was fighting Treus Dayth. However, when both of us were at very low health, I decided to tele out. I clicked my Ectophial, and it started pouring on the ground. While it was pouring on the ground, my last shot hit him BIG(for me. Probably 12 damage or so.). However, I'm wondering whether I should prepare for another long fight, or whether this would have been enough to kill him. Like, would it carry over from me killing him? Oh, and he started the death animation. Haha, I just checked using the Quest Log and it asks me where I should use the key. Alright, case closed.
  7. Well, that's why I did profit %. I was hoping that would be what I needed to determine what was the best(I still think it is). Guess I'll switch to Flax.
  8. I searched the AoW, along with Help & Advice, and found many people stating different things. However, I believe they might be off due to modern prices. I guess I should follow my own guide, maybe?(although it doesn't take into account luck).
  9. I just finished the Etceteria Quests to get access to Manage Thy Kingdom. I was trying to do some maths to come up with the most profit possible. What I found was: Coal- Cost:91.6. Market Price: 170. Profit: 78.4 each. Profit(%):54 Flax- Cost:40. Market Price: 78. Profit: 38 each. Profit(%):51 Tuna - Cost:56.3. Market Price: 122. Profit: 65.7. Profit(%):46 Swordfish - Cost: 189.4. Market Price: 468. Profit: 278.6. Profit(%):68. Fishing- Cost: 87. Market Price: 201.8. Profit: 114.8. Profit(%):51. Judging by this, and assuming a 10 to 3 ratio of tuna to swordfish, as per the Tip.It guide, it would appear that mining coal and selling it on the GE would bring the most profit to me. However, I want to be sure on this. Firstly, do these mathematics make sense(mainly the converting to %), and also, is coal generally the best for profit. I spent around half an hour on these calculations, but wouldn't be surprised if they were wrong. EDIT: Whoops, meant to put this in Help & Advice. It's supposed to be there, right?
  10. I thought the hardest and most annoying part was the jail. As for the armour, priest robes for most of it, letting the gnomes take him, and then finishing him off with dhide and a mage bow(don't melee him) or else magic.
  11. Make sure you're using the right version. For instance, don't use the HD version on low-quality and vice-versa/ Probably your problem.
  12. Well, if you get it again, run outside of the ring, and let the gnomes kill it, then run in when it's low health and range it.
  13. The bets profit would be power mining iron until he's in the guild, then mining coal. The time saved will eventually be worth it from the coal. Besides, it's only one level. That's at most 739 iron, which is worth only 74 k, and it would be a better use of time on the coal.
  14. When mining those iron, mine and drop. And also there's 4 yews to the west of Lumbridge Castle(which now has a bank).
  15. I've been looking around, but I haven't been able to find any guides that are good for my specific skill level. I am planning to get my currently level 53 range up to level 70(try aviansies, and also because i want to). I am looking for a spot that will enable me to hopefully afk train. I have so far tried ogres and rock crabs. I was hoping to find a better spot, though. Also, I am currently using a dorgeshuun c'bow with bone bolts, and was wondering if there was anything that would be better for training.
  16. I am also looking to make more money. I have a total bank value of around 2 mill, with 300k free. I have noticed many guides on killing dragons, and I think killing green dragons would be sweet, but I have a few questions - should I range or melee them(my range is 52, att 70, str 64, def 62), and are these good enough stats to do it? (I think they are) Also, green dragons are the ones in the Wilderness, I believe. Try searching for a guide on them. Also, I would definitely think of training range, not only because it would help with the dragons, because I want to get it up. PM me if you know any good range training areas, as I've already hijacked enough.
  17. I'm not sure how much of a necro-post this is, but... I just wanted to post here to say that catching ruby harvests is WELL worth it. The provide fast exp, and they also earn a lot of money(600 gp each - the jar cost). Does anyone know why they're worth so much mroe than all of the rest? Also, I think this is a good guide, and more people should use it.
  18. I tried doing Slayer. Butt hen I got Kalphites and I don't know how to get to them. One thing you could train on is experiments. AFKable, 100 hp, level 25 with no attack or strength. Do the Creature of Fenkenstrain to unlock them. The best spot is right next tot he entrance, because there are two spawns close together.
  19. I haven't been here lately(well, started playing again a month or two ago). Do you mean that the prices will go higher? Also, is it a good idea to try and sell dragon daggers right now?
  20. Yeah. I just switched over to P2P. In F2P, that is considered probably mid stats. I will try training slayer. My first task is Kalphites. Does this include the level 28s?
  21. Doesn't really matter if it's fun or not. I would like it to not have many requirements, like Yaks does, I think(I'm new to members, but I heard you need a quest for them). I am just trying to get to 70 attack for using the whip quickly. Something like the monkey gaurds but faster would be nice.
  22. I was wondering what would be good melee training for me. I am trying to get to 70 attack for the whip. I just tried meleeing monkey guards in the temple on Ape Atoll, but it was quite slow. Any money made would be a bonus. My stats are in my sig. Oh, and I have recently raise my attack to 64 and defence to 62.
  23. Alright,t hanks. One last Q - anyone know any tools to sort quests by rewards?
  24. One more question - is there any better member furnaces - banks than Al Karhid?
