Not sure if you were here for these, but- A runecrafting guild(forget when it came out). There was a Halloween event and quest, but it's over now. I think that's it...

And, yes, Ray, I did read all of the posts. Just most of them were contradictory(I don't think yours were). I ended up going with the poster whose help seemed the most likely to benefit me. And it's called the Help + Advice Subforum. I came here for and got some good advice.

Thanks, Ray. Appreciate it.

I got tired of delaying my training for farming, so I decided to go bananas. I need to plant 11 for level 40. I will plant 8 and farm normally for the rest. These 8 cost me quite a lot - the seeds were cheap, but paying the farmers was around 2.4k a tree(4 apple baskets per tree, 5 apples to a basket, apples at around 100 and something).
-
Right. No offense but that's not really constructive. But the thread's pretty much over anyways. I have tried farming, and, although I don't like the skill, I am already halfway towards the goal. The only problem is that it messes pretty badly with my training at Yaks on Neitiznot.

And, probably the last question. I ran into this while trying to do Garden of Tranquility: Disease. When a plant is diseased, does it completely stop growing? And how can I protect it from disease(I heard Marigolds do)? Anyways, I am about to finish Garden of Tranquility, at which point I will have level 31 farming, close to 32. The only thing left for me is trying to get to 40 quickly. What plant should I use for this?(the guide doesn't really say which plant's the fastest)

Well, I meant more of as in all 4 spots at a single place(like the herbs, allotment, and flower). Is it possible to do that, or can you only use on spot at each place? Also, what is a spot called?

If you are doing stalls, drawing the guards away as I explained here will allow you to train without being disturbed. It will speed up your training a lot.

Thieving Tip - Luring at the Ardougne Stalls
Peterblue replied to Peterblue's topic in General Guides
Yup. I was just pointing out that it could be used in thieving, and gave a few specific cases. Also, I will work on the photos. Sorry about that. -
Thanks for all of the help. One last question. To maximize efficiency, could I do multiple patches? Say all of the allotments, all of the herbs, etc. at the same time? Also, I will try trees. I am fine with losing money on this, as long as it isn't too much. Also, I have Magic Secateurs, so that's good.
-
Two more related questions - when planting and picking, how does the xperience work. Is it 8 exp total, or 8 exp per seed planted(so, 8, or 32)? And the same thing with picking. It doesn't seem realistic otherwise(I have calculated it at taking me over 100 hours for these levels, but that can't be right).
-
Yeah, I read that. However, I would like it if someone could set out a fast, even if expensive method for me to achieve the level I want. I don't plan to Farm after that.
-
Well, farming... the only members only skill I've never tried. I've achieved my level by questing only. However, I recently found out I need 40 Farming for a quest. So, unless someone knows another method, I guess I'll actually have to farm. I am willing to spend quite a bit of money on it(let's say max 100K, maybe 200K). What should I farm, where, and how would I go about this(I've never even looked at the skill, so treat me like a mentally delayed person on this)?
-
Ah. I guess I'll leave my shield spot empty until I can afford a Zamorak book, then. Also, looking at the requirements for the Holy Wrench quest, would it be worth it for getting 18-40 farming just for the Holy Wrench? Thanks for helping straighten me out.
-
Wow... I unlocked the Unholy Book, but, apparently, it's going to cost me around 4 million gp to fill it... That's the right book, right? Or am I thinking of the wrong book here(the one after Horror from the Deep)? Also, Snakeskin Boots require Trollheim Teleport because you need climbing boots to get to Trollheim, right? And, lastly, for my first time, which of Archer Ring or Ring of Life would you suggest?
-
you need 70 range for that Please read his first post. oh my mistake i was looking at his sig  But thanks for trying. As for SS4Alex, I REALLY can't afford that. I'm not poor but that stuff is expensive. Could you give me a more budgeted outfit with the Pendant of Armadyl and Zammy and Saradomin items, please? I've been looking around, but most of them are too expensive. Just a note, I can't afford more than 1 Barrows item.

I raised a few discussions about my math and MTK. The best ones for profit are Raw Fish and Coal or Flax. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Miscellania
-
Well, I've also read that I should have God-aligned stuff.
-
I could probably scrounge up enough money to get an expensive thing. After a few trips I should be able to afford more. For now, could you just tell me the amount of b2ps I need, as well as bolts and prayer potions, along with the equipment?
-
I have been looking at the Aviansies as a money maker because I hear so much about them, and training to prepare. I know the stats and quest I need(70 ranged, 70 defence(and 60 strength or agility)) (Temple of Ikov, up to Eadgar's Ruse, etc.), however I am still in the dark as to what equiment I should use. I will, when I go, have 70 defence and 70 ranged. I am wondering what the best equipment for me would be(can only spend around 300k on it). So far I have(correct me if these are wrong): Weapon Rune Crossbow/Addy Bolts Helmet Saradomin Coif Necklace Pendant of Armadyl Cape Ava's Accumalator Shield Unholy Book(no pages) Body Monk's Robes -Top- Legs Zamorak Robes -Bottom- Gloves Black Dragonhide Vambraces Boots Snakeskin Ring Ring of Life I do not own any of these and will have to buy them. Also, how many bolts, b2ps, etc. should I bring on my first trip?

These are made specifically for the Fur Stall in Ardougne. However, the principle can be applied to any stall anywhere. I will be adding pictures soon, as they are necessary. Overview: I'm sure all of you have heard of luring, and maybe used it a few times(if you haven't, it means drawing an NPC away so that he is in a smaller space so you don't have to chase him down). However, I found a strategy that makes it useful for not only pickpocketing, but stalls as well. The Advertisement: Have you ever been annoyed by the market guards? Injured? Hurt? Killed? Well, then, this strategy is right for you. Using our patented LAZ-E-Ness technology we have developed a way to get rid of those annoying guards. It takes a minute, and can save you many minutes in the long run. The Strategy: The strategy involves luring the market guards. However, the point of this luring is to keep them away from you. This will allow you to continuously thieve from the stalls, and save you health. The majority of these lures involve dragging the Guard into a building(this will be described later). However, one unique Guard will lose interest in you if you run into a building. The fix to this is to use a "safespot" on him. This saves the same purpose as a safespot in ranging(keeping the monster off of you), but you will not be killing him. Because you won't kill him, he will stay there until he respawns. In the meantime, you will be able to gain a lot of undisturbed thieving experience. The Implementation: There are two types of methods. However, you MUST use both of these to be successful. The first one is called the Building Chase. The Building Chase: In the building Chase, the main objective is to drag the guards into a building. There are three(3) suitable buildings located near the marketplace that can be used for this purpose. The two pick-lockable doors are not able to be used for this. However, ALL of the other buildings near the market are. There are 4 steps in this procedure. They are all short and simple. Step 1: Aggravate your Guard. Step 2: Lead your Guard. Step 3: Double back on your Guard. Step 4: Slam door in face. Notes about this procedure: It is a bit harder to stuff more than one Guard per building. I don't suggest it. Also, one of the Guards can't be forced into a building. This is why I have included the basic safespot strategy. You can tell which Guard this is because when you get inside the building he walks away. Also, it is possible to trap EVERY single guard. The Safespot: The safespot used here is the same as any other safespot. Also, it can be used for ANY Guard. However, I will only be specific of one safespot. You should get the hang of it after that. Make sure you are safespotting the Guard who will not enter a building. The other Guards do not require this. Step 1: Aggravate your Guard. Step 2: Lead your Guard. Step 3: Double back, forcing him to put you between him and the pole. Step 4: Click on the other side of the pole, while running. He will attempt to follow you, and get caught on it. Step 5: Continue stealing. Overall notes: Both of these simple strategies work for any creature, anywhere. You can use it on a Paladin, Guard, Knight, or Hero. However, it is riskier to do it with higher level monsters, as they can damage you more severely. After ten minutes of practice you should get the hang of this. How efficient is it?: In the last hour, using this, I have been disrupted 1 time, and have gone from 38-nearly 41 thieving.

Help with what quests to do for an early member.
Peterblue replied to Tommat's topic in Help and Advice
Well, if want to know the might as well essential quests for members Priest in Peril, and Nature spirit unlock a LOT of other quests and are both VERY easy. Lost City is a good one, as Zanaris is useful. On the same note, do Fairy Tale Part I, and Part II up to the unlocking the Fairy Rings(doesn't require any of the skills). Gnome Stronghold and Gnome Tree Village are also pretty useful. I can't remember the others, except Monkey Madness, which is more annoying than hard, and will probably take quite a while(took me 6 hours, due to the stupid jail). Oh, and Animal Magnetism if you plan to train range. Gives 75% of your arrows back if you're not using a safespot(I think that's what stops it). -
Curious as well. However, I think you're supposed to hire the altars.
-
Out of curiosity, why is mith ore price jumping? I don't see what it has to do with stealing creation, though.

There is a location finde ron the main site.
