I don't see why people see 99s as all that. Sure, they mean you nerded it up. You're bragging about how many times you can click. Just enjoy it. There's not point in getting a 99. Save the money for something you enjoy if you think that's too much.

I just wasted the last two weeks of the summer playing RS. But no, other than that, none. My parent's have given up. I don't have good grades(they dropped by an average 4 or so percent last year), but I'm still getting a 90 in the only one I care about and try in, Math.(I'm in grade 9. Don't be proud because you can get a 90 in elementary school - well, be proud, but it's harder in hgih school. In elementary I had a mathematical average of around 92%, in 4 subjects(2 of which I never got above 88%s in)). And, yes, I have friends. I also play 2 sports - rep football, and houseleague baseball, because it costs too much(couple thousand) and all of the kids who play it near me are cabbage.

With steel plates if you are smithing them yourself it's a 1500 loss per plate. If you are buying them it is a 2000 loss per plate. I suggest smithing them yourself. There really is no great f2p way. You could try mining gold ore and then buying steel bars with the money you make.

Well, acutally, there was something on Truthscape(which is, I guess, and advice site) that says you make more money with addy bolts.

What's the cost of 70 and 85 smithing from 60 smithing? This would be F2P only. I currently have 1.2 mill, although I can use the ores I get from 64-70 mining. I most likely will be smelting and high alching steel and then mith plates. After that I will be making money back from mining and smithing adamant(and then high alchign it). So then it will be- do Lost City. Get dragon equipment(sorry, but what's the dragon dagger good for? I know it's poisoned, but is it good against monsters or people?) I already have full rune and 1.2 mill. Is there any really essential quests other than Lost City? Also, how good is running laws, nautres and cosmics? Comparatively, how good is doing the gold mine after the Keldagrim quest? And just HOW good is dragon? As good as rune is over mith?

I am not personally a member, however I will be very soon. I am wondering which quests to do, and which skills to prepare while waiting for the membership to kick in. My stats are in my sig, and I currently have 1.2 mil or so.(I am currently on Goldflame) I will be looking to get a good weapon, but I really know NOTHING about membership. I'm supposing Abyssal Whips are good?

Uh, what? No, you will get more money. However, since you don't have the required levels for running, you need to mine your own... it'll take a long time. Buying it really isn't worth it if you're F2P - there's no really good f2p rc besides the guild.

I am smelting a LOT of bars, so I want to know - which furnace in the F2P world is closest to a bank? I beleive Falador's and Al Karhid's are the choices, however, does anyone know which one is shorter? Even a second could save me maybe an hour.

Fishing's a bit better with the new explorer ring. Saves you maybe 20 seconds and 30 gp a trip.
