A little update here. After another 500+ tokens. Still on bronze defender. I've gotten as many half keys as defenders. ;) Is it really supposed to take this long? Is it a waste of my time? How good is it anyway?

Point taken but the lack of options as a main weapon is surprising considering all the updates for melee.

Totally wrong. No need to say more. I'm trying to get full Guthans but some jerks are jacking the price way up! :evil: It's expensive enough already.

No. Not for combat at least. You got your 4 Godswords that can hit 70-80. Happy? What needs some help is range. The crossbow update was a move in the right direction but you still don't really have many options. Crystal bow, dark bow, rune c'bow and mage bows? C'mon. Mage could get a special staff or something with some casts that could only be done with that special staff. Maybe a quest reward? I don't really know about mage.

I'm currently working on getting a rune defender. I've already used more than 300 hundred tokens and only got a bronze one. And I do know that you need to go back out of the doors and talk to the lady so she sends out the ones with the next set of defenders. After a while I'm still on bronze. :( Is it supposed to take this long? A time estimate maybe? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. Does anyone have anything to say about the Verac's though? The set effect is "Melee attacks have a chance to ignore opponent's defence provided by their armour and the effects of their protection prayer." Would the high hit be hitting through the armour?

Ok. Well I have a dhally. Where would could I hally them? The only place I've tried to melee them is Brimhaven dungeon and didn't see any safespots.

Alright. I really wanna get a set of barrows but can decide which. Guthan's is sweet cause of the set effect but really expensive. (even though it's going down) Dharok's is nice for low hp training. Verac's gives a nice prayer bonus and cool set effect. Torag's has a stinky set effect but the strongest armor. I've thought about getting this just for the defense bonus and skip the hammers. I don't take advantage of any of the set effects then. #-o What to do? Also on the side, my friend has full verac's and and said he could hit 32 with 71 strength. Is this because of the set effect? Thanks.

Ummm.... I don't think so. I know someone who's maybe 67-68. He's lvl 113.

I'm lvl 93, 73 attack, 78 strength, and 73 defense. I've heard of Fire Giants being good to melee. Am I strong enough to do it without constant trips for food? Any inventories and what to wear would be great. Oh, and where to kill them. :D Sorry for all the questions. Thanks.

Yeah. I don't think running straight through will work. When I fail it just knocks me backwards. Worth a try. Is there an agility lvl that I don't have? Thanks for the replys.

Alright, I'm doing a Treasure Trails. It's right next to camp Tyras by the pond. Problem is I'm stuck outside by a stick trap. Everytime I click "PASS STICK TRAP" my person dumbly walks forward and gets nailed 8. I've tried several time using all my time for today getting there. :wall: Any ideas? Oh, and my agility is 60. That's enough right? Help would be great. Thanks.
