I've been killing Avansies for a while now but have always prayed range when fighting them. I'm getting sick of the prayer pots so wanted to try tanking a little. So could you tell me what to wear? I'll be using bones to peaches. My stats are 55 prayer, 77 range and 75 defense. Screenshots are nice too. :D Thanks.

I'm lvl 76 range and have been killing Avansies at the GWD. I've been using a rune c'bow and mith bolts for a while but have some iron knives sitting in my bank. Just wondering if it would be faster to kill them with the knives? Thanks.

After 4k tokens. I got the rune defender. Yay. Now I can hit 27 with whip! Sad thing is I died 20 mins later and lost it. Good thing I kept my addy one!

I see things both ways. Sure, hitting 70+ is pretty annoying especially when your getting piled on. But everybody plays the same game. Get one yourself if it annoys you so much. As for the piling in BH I don't know. I think it's dumb system and I don't do it myself. Whip + rune defender= max xp in game. Godswords can't claim that at least.

Ok. Does anyone know what the highest hit is out there? I'm including range and mage. I think the best I've seen was 108 with Dharoks. Mine is 31 with whip. :( Oh. And proof is nice. A screenshot is best. Thanks. Edit- can hit 31 now!

Hey. A 99 is a 99. Enough said. 13 million xp isn't easy. So what if some people want the cool capes, they did the work. To say that any skill cape isn't special is crazy.

I would go for the Saradomin Godsword. The spec is pretty good. Whip and rune defender is hard to beat for xp though.

Ok. Another 1.5k tokens gets me a steel defender. This is slow. For the record I am using a ROW. Since I'm doing so much training I'm doing something to keep me entertained. I'm gonna level all my combat skills at once. Attack, Strength and Defense. I'm getting them all to the same xp then I'm gonna use my whip and get them at once. :
