I don't think they nerfed it. About 1:1 ratio from kills to bars. it used to be 4 bars basically every kill. so it was more of a 4:1 ratio of bars to kills. At 1:1 is still about 2k per kill. If the ratio was the way it used to be it's probably a good thing they nerfed it. ;) Jk. It would dramaticly drop the price though. I think it's fine the way it is.

So I guess you get hit by the ranger? Do you fight them while the cannon goes? How many prayer potions will you need for 2k balls?

Iron kniving ogres at Castle Wars is good range and prayer xp.

Rune defender is the best. The attack bonus are worth way more than the defense bonus.

Do you pray melee or range? Do you have to pray?

If you want a cheaper option then granite is the way to go. That's what I use.

I see what you mean. Without really high slayer it's pretty useless. Only when you get 70+ do I think the dough starts rolling. I personnaly hate slayer. I always get totally crappy assignments. The only thing that keeps me going is the black mask. :D

I think you can do it but only with the above mentioned safespots. I did it a 90 and took 30 from him. He isn't easy. I wish I know of the safespot. If you really wanna fight him wear melee armour and pray mage. Not too bad then.

I would say anything with high melee defense. There is a room in the chaos tunnels with some ice trolls in there. That would be a good place to do it. Rooms 49 and 48 I think.

For only 200k something it's worth it. I like my ring of wealth though.

I really don't know. I think ranging is the best though.
