I would use the dragon longsword as it's much faster then the dba or mace. You can keep the dba for the spec but using a super set on task would be much more effective. Also keep the mace/dds for when you want to spec, but the d long has a decent spec so it shouldn't be needed.

cb79 actually ;) It's just because i only have 53 strength so it isn't ranked...... but when i do my fire giant task I'll get enough exp to get it most of the way to 57, or get my attack most of the way to 63, so either way i'll be happy with the exp....... just got to figure out which to do, attack or strength :roll: What i would suggest is to get your strength up to 60 first, maybe even 65-70. After that get attack to 70 so you can use the might Abyssal Whip. I hope you have a d scimmy?

The best master he can use right now is Chealder. 85 combat is a requirement for Smoking Kills, and seeing as he's only 72 i don't think it's possible now. Just stick to Chealder for now and when you get 85 combat think about questing. And remember if you can't do a task you can always go to Tureal for a new one.

Best thing to do is to get a slayer helm, since it has all the slayer head gear in them and you're on task it would make easy work of them. Otherwise just kill them in the tower.

The +3 prayer is far more helpful then +6 defence. On prayer tasks yes, otherwise i think the def would be better. And if he wanted to pray all the task then wear full prosy and piety every task.

For each amulet. Buy the astral runes and also a Mud Staff.

normal dragons can melee/dragon breath close range, only dragon breath long range and metal drags like bronze/iron will use a mixture in close range, melee/dragon breath unless they changed that as well Normal dragons don't have a range breath attack, only when you're near them. So if they can melee you, they can breath on you. The stalagmites have nothing to do with them not being able to breath attack you.

Yes, they only use their dragon-fire when you range/mage them. And they use both when you melee them. And is it just me, or do they know when your anti-fire potion runs out? -.-

Buy a Whip to train def whip, stick to what you have now if its a d long or scim for str. Use full rune or full rune with granit body instead.

Get rid of varacs brassard and buy another top, either torags or dharoks. Just farm the best thing you can at your level. marigolds are decent profit at low levels.
