  1. You only get Goraks assigned if you complete Fairy Tale Part 2. You only need to start it to get the fairy rings. I've almost 95 slayer and that is how it is with me. From what i hear Goraks aren't a terrible task to do.
  2. If you really want to do them effectively try and get 68 summoning. The bunyip healing ability and swallow whole scroll helps out so much. IF you can't reach that then try using the guthan's way. Just wear guthans to heal and pray against their attacks. Idk which one as i always had a bunyip and never prayed them.
  3. At Gargs i can keep healed with a bunyip + EE, but thats me. The other tasks that i use a unicorn on are my Waterfiend tasks, Mithril Dragons, Wyverns, and Aquanites when i had them unblocked. All the rest are easily done with 2 bunyips, or if using combat then a fire titan to fight and help heal some. Also you can tank the Black Demons with a unicorn, but i find it faster to cannon them. Unicorns are mainly good at most bosses and not for slayer tasks. During tasks they are over heals, but if you do bosses (GWD, TDs, etc.) in a team then a unicorn helps out with the healing.
  4. For fruit trees try Papaya or Pineapple. The Papaya fruits seem to be going up in price so it shouldn't cost to much of a loss, if they even run a loss. To pay the farmer to watch the tree it costs 10 pinapples which can be bought from Arhein in Catherby. But papaya seeds may also be hard to buy so try pineapples if you can't get papayas. They require 10 watermelons if you want the farmer to watch. Regular Trees I'd have to say go with maples. You can do yews if you like but they cost a bit more. Maples need a basket of oranges for the farmer to watch.
  5. I hear that an AGS or BGS are good to spec with then switch to whip + Rune defender. I never had much experience with it on my own. Just going but what i heard. Seems like you know what you're doing mostly.

To get the helm quickly do tasks 1-9 at Mazchna (Canafis master) then every 10th go to Duradel for the bonus points. If you want you can just do duradel tasks and get the most out of you tasks. I say you could get close to 80. Maybe a little short of it.
  7. You can try string jewelery but they also use astrals. You could also try Superheating ores or plank make. I would do plank make if you were planning on getting some con levels soon. With the release of the Extreme Magic potion, using ancients isn't as good if you were able to make those potions. Alching of course would probably be the easiest, but like you said you don't like it and neither do i. With super glass make you can make uncharged orbs. After that you can then go and make into air orbs. Attach those to Battlestaves and alch to get some magic exp with a variety of ways. You may want to look and see how much it profits/losses.
  8. I seriously hope you meant gp/hr. green drags and aviansies are definitely NOT the best exp. Ya sorry thats what i meant. @ Wug: Those are only for those that are low leveled and can't handle any other creatures. Once you get to a certain level you can move up to better training spots. Even spots that can give you money.
  9. Well yes and no. Some dragons rarely use their breath, except for metals, and when they hit they max at only 30 if you still use an antifire potion. This was how a lot of people did tasks. Some still prefer to use the shield though, but if you have 85+ Herblore its best to use the potion.
  10. This. Then, once you get members - sort your quests by order of difficulty. Do the easiest to hardest ones in order. This will help you learn the map, the folklore, and as you meet new quest requirements you'll notice your character leveling up as well :) I say get members pronto and start doing all the quests. Plus, its $5. That's less then BIG MAC combo at McD's. Not by much here. Its $5.19 for a medium Big Mac combo (Yes i work at mcdonalds :( ). And its only $5 a month for those that have been members for a long time. When you first start its $5.95 a month.
  11. 289 is the max you can get. The only way to get that is if you're on a blue tear that never stops the entire time you're in there. You only got 126, meaning thats all you collected. Its possible for you to get more, i know people who have gotten 200+ before.
  12. Armoured Zombies will give you great exp along with moderate cash. Of the ways you listed, green dragons are the best for money and not so much for exp. While the others tend to be low exp and GP. And green dragons are the best gp/hr for melee combat. While Aviansies are the best for ranging.
  13. You do know that if you edit you have to option to make that little bar that shows when/if you edited it appear or not? The default option is for it to not appear, but you can adjust that as you wish.
  14. Ya i had the same amount of luck to. I never had Gargs, Nechs, Dusties, or Spiritual Mages until the late 80s. Didn't get mages until 90. Same with Wyverns. But i do have loads of fire runes.
  15. You would probably make more money in a team. I would say get 69 summoning for a fruit bat. It allows you to stay some what longer with its fruit fall scroll.
  16. Ya it happens to quite a few people. Just tough it out or try switching to a new master or blocking some tass you get a lot of.
  17. Most GWD bosses are great to team. I hear that Sara and Arma are the best to team and come out with profit. I just did some CS at Zammy and made about 8m from it. Never had experience at Corp, sorry. Same with TDs, but i know that they are easily killed with 2-3 people. Any more and you only do it for lulz imo. KBD might be fun to kill with lower level friends, but it won't be as profitable as the others.
  18. Like Philip said, other stats would be nice to have as well. Killing AZ's would be ok. At 90 cb you can't have all to high of combat so maybe stick with some lower level monsters. Try some creatures in the SoS, or you can try doing what i did and start slaying. With such lower prayer though you may have to limit yourself.
  19. ? The only one which you really unlock is Warped terrorbirds (the rest are pretty easy without I'm overlooking some). Goraks get unlocked aswell (since I'm pretty sure goraks came about in slayer tasks before GWD, where they added some more Goraks). But since goraks are a great xp/hr (also semi-afkable with a high defence level) task, it doesn't matter. I'm sure I saw a slayer guide that listed a bunch of quests that you should and shouldn't do for the people who are really serious about slayer. With the ability of canceling tasks now, I wouldn't consider it such a big deal anymore if you do unlock warped t-birds (infact, I recommend it. Quests are fun  ) I know Axe Man Jack's guide liststhe quests that give new monsters among other quests that should be completed as well. Off the top of my head i know that the Path of Glourphie (sp?) gives the warped terrorbirds (for Duradel) and tortoise (for Sumona), Fairy Tale Part 2 gives goraks (only assigns if you complete it), and Mourning's End Part 2 gives Dark Beasts (only need to start it from what i hear). Also doing Priest in Peril unlocks all the monsters in the Slayer Tower and the Canafis area. If you don't do that quest you can get 99 without ever having to kill a ghoul, or any creature in that area for the matter.
  20. Try looking at this to see if you skipped anything. Make sure you got all the right items, and that they are correct.
  21. If that's the only reason you're going to go, then why bother? Just lend it out for you max trade for a few hours. Or just sell it. Or buy the arrows i got from going Xd
  22. What were you doing when you first left runescape? IF you want continue that. I also see you have 91 fishing, very nice, maybe try to get that to 99 so you can have some more GP in your bank. Its really up to you. Seems you were once a member so it isn't really that new to you. Just know that there have been quite a few quests since you been gone, maybe get caught up on those?
  23. Ya you could possibly be stuck in a small loop of tasks. I was stuck on fire giants, waterfiends, greater demons, abyssal demons, and black demons/dragons for the longest time. I didn't get Spiritual mages until i hit 90 slayer, nor did i get nechs until about 88 slayer. But just keep training slayer. You'll get plenty of task along the way to 99, if you're going for it. Also don't forget to adjust your block list some, or do more quests. These may get you more of some tasks and less of another. OR just try Sumona for a few tasks.
  24. The other day i had a few people go. Most meleed, while 2 others ranged. One of then had 1 def so they didn't have much choice. The other wore a neitz helm, black body, Verac's skirt, Unholy Book, and an accumulator. As for what else i didn't really notice. I would bring a whip or something though to get the KC. As for the inventory i would guess to bring a few range potions, a few super restores, some food and maybe some broad/ruby (e)/diamond (e) bolts. For a familiar i suggest a Fire Titan with Titan Const. scrolls to heal with some. Once that is out then use a Fruit Bat to get some food. Note: I rare go to GWD. The last time i went was Friday. Time before may have been months. So take my advice with a grain of salt and maybe try looking at an AoW guide or the tip.it guide.
  25. Didn't yall hear? You can only get monster-specific items (Dragoon boots, Abyssal Whips, Dark Bows) from the creature while only on task. I for one am glad they changed this.[/sarcasm]
