If slaying the Black Mask is great to use while meleeing. If not on a melee task then the Helm of Neitiznot is best. You can either range the Mages in hides or melee them in hides. Melee would be easier for you, but if u want to range then do that. I also say to use knives if you want it to go faster, or use a rune C'bow and bolts for more damage.

SS = ZS. Only GS thats really good there is SGS and that due to its spec. There area few other ways to kill them. If you're looking to get att exp try using the Whip+Def on them. I used that when i was getting def to 99 and it wasn't all to bad. But i was also 99 attack so idk how much that would affect it.

It helps. I used it to do the diary in fact. You can do most things with a boost when needed in a Diary. You just can't get assisted.

All the metal dragons have a weakness to stab. Irons aren't as tough as Steels or Miths so most people use a whip on them. And since you have 89 attack the stab attack will help you out. Also having the Ardougne Cloak 3 will help out as well, since it has a +6 to stab and prayer.

There is a way to do it. Its just harder then it was before.

Leaf-Bladed Sword would work better then a Whip. Make sure its on stab.

It may not be showing due to the filter being on. Try taking the filter off first.

I wouldn't use Arma as it has negative attack stats. Karils works just fine. If you don't wanna spend money on that i find Black D Hides to work as well. I was able to kill them at 85-90 def with no prayer, just used a little more food and i also couldn't use the scrollson the raw sharks do to my low cooking level. Bring a few sharks and the EE and you should do fine. Oh and the only time i ever used prayer there was to make tasks faster. So feel free to do that if u like.

Since you can't wear the God cape, it won't get the boost.

If you have Void ranging set you can use that. Karils isn't need for ranging as it has same bonuses as Black D hide, just better def stats. I would use Crystal bow instead, but thats up to you.

Well while killing them you'll get exp. That will get you higher levels which will enable you to do better methods and alloying you to eventually kill waterfiends. And if you have money you can try magic Rock Lobsters for some magic exp and gather charms.

This is the wiki page on greater demon. They even list which are members and how rare they are. I am aware that people can edit the pages. But it still says the same thing as the tip.it ones, about the items being F2P or P2P. And I'll say it one more time. Just because you haven't gotten them, doesn't mean they dont drop them.

Wrong? How can you say it's wrong? It's pure math: I did 30 clues and got 5-6 +500k rewards so that makes 20% chance of a good drop for me? I will repost my stats after 100 clues, but now I did 6 more in the meantime and guess what: 2 more rewards of +500k... The others were rubbish hardly hitting 75k value. But: the zammy body sold 1.561Mil, so is that worth the efforts? Definately! SOJ What it is that in those clues, 20% of them gave you a reward of 500k+. You can do 100 more and the % can either go up or down. I doubt it will stay the same for the lifetime of clues that you do. I bet if you included those 30 clues and the 5-6 rewards with the 100 more you do the % won't stay the same.

This shows the best items for each spot that gives prayer. Now some items can and should be replaced with others as they give some offensive capabilities that tend to help out more, or items that can give decent defense bonuses.

Ahh, thanks for that. I read it some where and wasn't to sure that it was 150k cuz that seems to high. But i guess its possible. And it sucks i'm so close yet so far from it.

Best thing to use is a Granite Lobster for all kinds of fishing. It gives some bonus exp, an invisible boost, and the sharks and swordfish it catches more then pay for the pouch. If you can't do that then an Ibis would be second best. The only time i would use a bunyip is if i was using fishing brawlers, and is deep in the wild and can't bank the fish.

On this guide, by zarfot, he said he was getting about 40k exp an hour. Now you can expect probably 30-35k exp. Read that guide for some tips on how to do it real effectively. You can do it in about 2-3 hours. Idk how much essence you might need. Try for 2.5k maybe.

I considered suggesting that. If you fill up your bank (make sure you don't have any fire and law runes banked, even as a place holder), you can bank your inventory with a single click and go much quicker. You don't hold laws, you craft them o_o May I ask what the [cabbage] you're talking about? You use law runes to teleport...lalala was saying don't have any fire or law runes in your bank so you can just click on that bank all tab, and it'll leave your pouches, fire runes, and law runes in your inventory... Hes saying you don't need the law runes as you will craft them when you go craft at the altar. But idk if you craft all you need to tele, so its probably better to bring them then not.

If you bank is full its even easier.

I thought it gave the number of runes around how much hp they healed? I remember getting about 12 runes when i used lobsters on the bunyip.

The RS Wiki says that the pieces give 33.3k exp each.

If you didn't include SC items, you can and it would cut the cost down to 13-14m for the price. But if you don't like SC them it probably isn't the way for you. Idk about costs, but you can get 130k exp/hr with Plank Make from what i hear.

That seems about right. I can get 30-40 on a task of Dust Devils. Kill in the CT if you aren't. And no, i doubt they nerfed they drop rates -.-.

That's not really an anwser, that's just a statement which I already knew... But how do you explain that I always and only get those rune full helms from the greater demons and no other rune item? Rune Full Helmets aren't as rare as the other rune item drops. I killed thousands on P2P and only gotten Rune Fulls. Probably rarer then some special drops. As for now I'd like to stick with F2P, but thanks for your opinion though... Look I'm a pure F2P'er and I know my world and mostly know what's the best to train on et cetera but I seriously doubt if Greater Demons drop other rune items then a rune full helm. It's hard to believe they really drop these other rune items, why isn't it possible that JaGeX updated the drops of them and it's still unchanged in 'Tip it Bestiary'? Or that it was wrong in the first place? I'd really like to see a screenshot with a rune drop in F2P of the greater demon except a rune full helm from the people who've written the F2P-drops-part of the greater demon on the Tip it Bestiary... Or if anyone else can proove this, then feel free to post, I'll be waiting for it... If they didn't drop them at all, they wouldn't be on the drop list. They are extremely rare. If you don't get a drop get over it. Some monsters drop things you wouldn't think they would. A few low level creatures can drop Dragon Spears, such as Basilisks, and i never gotten one but i believe others have.
