  1. Dark Beasts aren't in multi zone, not even in their natural spot Well like i said idk as i never done DBs, also i hear people still do cannon then to make the task go by faster.
  2. did wgs a while ago and just did the new one yesterday and alredy spent that on hp. would soul wars simpley be faster? Dude, that was a very stupid move. If you would have spended it on prayer, that would have saved you like 7m or something. Trust me when I say that you will regret it later when you have 99 hp and well over 15m xp, and still not maxed melees. I have to agree with bedman here. Using things other then normal combat to get HP exp is just stupid. If you have a few lvls of HP exp over your melee stats you can easily get HP to 99 before any of the melee stats. HP:melee exp is 3:1, if you train on controll that exp becomes 1:1, or really close. By spending ~850k exp on HP, thats 2.4m melee exp you would have need to get the same amount of exp.
  3. Right now i have Hellhounds and Kalphites blocked. Idk what, if i put anything, in the other 2 spots.
  4. But it is saying: Which some people might be thinking its a new drop, and not that you get tokkul which can be used to buy the gem. They forgot the tokkul part and just assume they drop the gems.
  5. Well you read wrong then, the Metals are all weak to stab, so the ZS makes killing them a lot easier. Tbh this thread is about whether the DFS was worth it, and what most said it wasn't. The money was better off put on skills, such as herblore and prayer, to make doing tasks easier. And irons were worth doing before the update, steels are better now after it. They aren't that hard to kill. Since i don't got 85+ herby i just use a LBS on them, it is the best 1 handed stab weapon. To me it seems like you want to justify that something you can't get is useless without you being able to use it. They are a great tool to be used when slaying as well as regular monster hunting. Like i already said the Extreme potions are great to use for tasks as well as doing bosses.
  6. Killing dragons isn't even that important though, and you can already just use dfs+antifire pot. Mithril, Steel, Iron dragons, the KBD. Using that potion and a better weapon, such as the Zammy Spear, would make killing them a lot easier. Also able to use a GS on them and not have to worry about getting burned.
  7. You don't need 80. You can boost it using a Stew or the Fletching potion. I only 77 fletching and i have the EE to use. The stew can give a max boost of 6 and the potion gives 3. But the boost of 6 is vary rare and would better off getting a few lelvs and try for a +4 boost or just use the potion.
  8. Seconded, it was fairly easy to get 70 agility there, I just made sure to know that everything I brought I was willing to lose since when I go there I stay till I die. With an EE I almost never had to eat, so with maybe ~10 monks and an EE (If you have it) you could definetly camp for a while; if you don't have an EE remember that baskets of strawberries heal the most per inv space  . EE? I'm sure I'll know what is it once you tell me lol. That up there in the original quote.
  9. Herb is not useful until very high levels, so buying resellable armors until the point where one can actually get to those herb levels is reasonable. Your point is true about prayer though, and DFS is indeed overrated. 85 is not a very high level, and anyone who has money to buy a DFS, even temporarily, can afford 85 Herblore (or 82 using ales.) Wait, 85 for super antifire? Are those even useful? o_o I thought herb was pretty useless until.. 91 I guess, for extreme magic. Being able to kill dragons without the use of a shield and anti-fire potions? Yes i call that very useful. Also the Extreme Attack/Strength/Defense also come in handy for bosses and normal slaying.
  10. The defense you get from the DFS in addition to the defense you get from armor is completely overkill on most places you can use it. Especially if you use it for slayer, most tasks i have tanked in just Barrows and a whip+rune def. Also faster kills from the Rune Defender means less time getting attacked and less damage taken. Thus meaning less food that is needed and more time spent doing other things. But they have their own uses and despite what people say, players will still value how you look over being efficient. Its the reason Dragon Legs cost more the Dragon Skirt, yet they offer almost the exact same stats (minus the weight and they are equal).
  11. Yes. You can get there in a few mins, just take the lever in either Edgeville or Ardougne and run there. A perfect hour there will get you 43k an hour there. Of course you can f ail so will get get 30-35k at least. Revs hardly bothered me there while getting 62-70 agility. Just bring some food to heal with. If you have a SGS or an Enhanced Excalibur be sure to bring for the HP heals.
  12. Around 1,200 for one brawler.
  13. Something i just came across, but if you finished "The Hunt for Redraktuber" you can hunt Penguins at 50 hunter. They give 250 exp and can be caught faster then salamanders. Even once u can catch the red ones, the traps are closer together so u actually can get more exp an hour even though reds give exp.
  14. Seeing as u get bigger tasks amounts, the use of the new dungeon, and the use of the new ring you would get more exp faster. Also since Kuradal now assigns dags those are another great exp tasks. Also with Blue Drags and Warped Torts you can make even more money from their drops. But every task you can do in her dungeon, you should. Except maybe Dark Beasts as it isn't multi and you can't cannon. Idk as i never killed a DB at my level as i never done the quests.
  15. Rune armour, and I am also using a whip and a DDS, sorry for the mistype. Then yes you should do fine. I would also bring a weapon to crush them with. If u can't get anything good, just use the Dragon Battleaxe. I used the same stuff and was at lower lvls. But i think i also used barrow armors instead. Dont forget food and super restore potions. As for the other one i believe you do it the same way. Not to sure on it tho, try looking on the quest guide.
  16. Why would you use a rune and dragon dagger? A whip and another weapon, maybe a gs/ss/za and maybe the DDS for the spec will be more then enough.
  17. Knowing what levels you are would kinda help some.
  18. Herblore: Try using this calculator. Farming: I would plant Ranarrs to get some exp and money as well. You can also plant trees/fruit trees to get some more exp, but at a greater cost. RC: Stick with natures to get some money. Con: Oak larders would be the way to go. Using a butler will make it go by faster, you also have to pay the butler every couple of mins though. As for the other 2, stick to what you plan on doing.
  19. There area few ways you could go about training. What i did for combat around those levels, and still do on the way to max melees, is slayer. Depending on your level you can make some decent money, but its not that great. Another option is to kill creatures in the SoS. Idk which ones though as i only been down there to get the rewards and the boots. I'm sure there is a guide on here some where.
  20. Idk how good kebbits are, but i think sallies would be better. Do the orange ones until 59 then do red until you're done. Don't worry about banking them, just catch and release to get the best exp. The exp went by kind of fast, you can get those lvls in a day or so depending on how much u play.
  21. According to the Wiki page, the visage is a side drop. Even Jagex has confirmed that the Visage is a bonus drop that isn't affected buy the RoW. Seriously? Please post link of that plawks, where Jagex says it's not affected by ROW. I don't trust Wikipedia with my life, considering I've spent hours editing it myself to screw people up (don't judge). Google dragon visage drop (images section). If there not a side drop how come most of them have other drops too? Note the 100% drop (bones and hide), charm drop, normal drop (blood runes) and side drop (visage). It has been long confirmed that visage is a side drop (by Jagex and players). You spent hours trying to misinform people on wiki so people don't do it here. I know it's a side drop... I was asking for a link to a Jagex quote stating if it was affected by wealth or not. Well if you know its a side drop, then you know that side drops aren't affected by the RoW. Such items include clues and charms, as well as the visage.
  22. Ya we figured he meant in killing the players. Seeing as he said combat exp... Brawlers, dragons, earth warriors, etc etc etc etc. You can't assume combat meant PvP solely, as the previous answers were unclear. I'm sorry if you think your answer was clear, I was simply clarifying.\ Especially as you specifically said you get far more xp using brawlers, implying you DIDN'T understand what he was talking about, unless you wear melee/range/mage brawlers to PK in. I did understand. You can use brawlers to fight with. Its not recommended but you can still use them. Why anyone would think you don't gain any exp while doing anything in RS is up to me though. Unless you are in a minigame that is. Other then those areas you normally get exp.
  23. Ya we figured he meant in killing the players. Seeing as he said combat exp...
  24. Yes you get the same kind of exp that you do in both normal and pvp worlds. You can also get a ton more exp in pvp with the help of brawlers.
