Well, it's easy to a point, but more difficult than every other method to kill Dagannoth Kings. I considered using the Balmung, but I was thinking the benefit of defense from the DFS would outweigh the need for it while soloing. Ah right, forgot to include those. #-o I will be bringing fire surges and I will be editing my inventory picture to incorporate the runes. Thanks for pointing that out. The defense on DFS makes balmung useless. Balmung is amazing but you need the extra defense.

just pick an herb (the higher lvl, the better) and buy grimy and see how much it cost-- clean it, then see how much it sells back for. just cuz it doesn't sell instantly, doesn't mean it doesn't sell. I'm cleaning about 1-2k dwarf weeds at a time then selling them for about 220gp profit per herb... it takes an hour or two for all the cleaned herbs to be sold. Thanks for the advise. And everybody knows about prayer potions. if you're low on income, energy potions and serum 207's are two good traditional potions at the moment, but once again, i advise not using traditional methods once you can make weapon poison++, it's not a bad idea to collect nightshades @ gutannoth and and make weapon poison++, the xp rate is low but they make a profit barbarian potions are decently good so long as you can make sell the mixes. antipoison mixes, prayer mixes, energy mixes, antifire mixes, and ranging mixes all make profit IF you can sell the mixes I personally made ranging mixes to 99 herblore for 100k xp/hour + 1 mil gp/hour currently ranging mixes make 100k xp/hour + 700k gp/hour IF you can sell the potions trick is selling the mixes. Wait til merch clans buy up the potions, in order to sell the mixes that and items should be lent to sell more potions now would be a decent time to buy the potions(2), while prices are crashing. Considering I got 70-80 for 13m on super defenses, just wait until prices settle. The best thing for your predictament would to sell your hook for (unf) wergali/fletching potions. You could buy the seconds and get huge experience for little cost. UNF WERGALI > Fletching potion is 3gp/xp. You could get to 90 herblore on the same cost it would be to get 80, approxamtely. You would then have a little leftover fletching potions, which sell over time or you could lend an item, such as an sgs/ags for them. Hope I helped!

How so? And if so, what do you suggest as an update to the Guthans method? Brews, Enhanced Excalibur, SGS, Soul Split. With 99 defense i was able to get to jad on EE heals and a few brew sips. So it is not so much outdated as it is inferior to other methods at higher levels of skills and equipment. The Guthans method is still viable for those without those abilities/equipment options, is it not? Im 90 defense and I got to jad with only enhanced excaliber and 1 dose of brew. Guthans is VERY outdated.

Ok, well Jad did NOT damage to me until the healers came. When they showed up i got overwhelmed, scared and idk. I hit them all so they were attracted to me but jad was still being healed. Jad spawned at the southeast spot. I tried to get them all on me but when they got on my I was too busy switching to line them up. I ended up dying while trying to move the healers. What can I do next time to make the healers easier? Should I bring a pair of barrows legs to get more melee defense? I was using karils skirt in my previous run. EDIT: If I attack the healers once, just so they are "looking" at me, do they still heal jad, even if they are on the other side of him?

The only thing Im not sure about is body/legs and cape. Soul wars or trimmed 99? OH, and ruby (e) or diamond (e)?

The best herb for gp is lantadyme. Herbs are 12k and seed is 28k.

Well thats part of my question =P But I have been retired for 5 months so I dont know if the equipment has changed/any updates. I dont even know what to use. Broad bolts until jad but idk what at jad...Same for armor/potions.

Smithing is about 200-300m cheaper, using SC hammers. I'm currently trying to get 99 herblore, cleaning herbs and making range mixes. The profit I get is used for making extremes.
