Anyone else find it strange that the big YouTubers who were SO against RWT, SoF, and micro-transactions are praising this update? It's like they did a complete 180...

Now that I think about it, I wonder how they can tell who's RWTing and who's not. I have people on Skype (such as Tip.It staff) who I don't even have added in-game, who we've traded Nex sets and massive amounts of cash back and forth (including partyhats). How can they tell the difference? Are they seeing anyone who does a hugely unbalanced (or completely one-sided) trade as RWTing?

Thaaaaank you! I know a lot of people who RWT, have for years, and never once have I heard of one of them getting scammed by the big companies (selling and buying). So I don't believe Jagex's whole risk argument. I don't believe bonds will compete with the $0.27-0.32/M that RWT sites offered prior to the update though. If anything, I see this opening people's eyes to RWT and them going to where it's cheaper - other websites. I was also confused. If Jagex knew about 40-50% of RuneScape players RWTing, why are 40-50% of players still here? Seems like a figure, such as the 90% of players who enjoy the SoF update, that they seemed to make up non the spot. Also, if 50% of people were RWTing, they clearly didn't give a damn about the "risk" that was involved by going to RWT sites (and it clearly worked, as they got their GP). So why would they suddenly care now and use Jagex instead?

This summarized my reaction very well. I'm surprised how well the community is taking this - looking at the YouTube comments and such! I'm blown away.

Many policies have changed over the years. :P. I know that we can delete them because I've recently browsed the forums and come across posts by members who accounts have been removed. As for moderation records - we have lengthy records of each report made, reported/removed/edited post, warning given, ban issued, PM sent, everything. Records aren't an issue. We can tell if accounts have been hijacked. Obviously if someone requested their account be deleted, that'd be one of the first things we'd check. :P.

Correction: We can delete accounts if requested. :P.

Oh shoot, thanks! And nooo - I trust my friends far to much to use the lend system. C'mon now, how would you feel if you asked for something and I actually lent it to you for x-hours. :P. Lol.

I should rent out all my gear, instead of always just giving it away - since I don't/won't use it! :P.

I was also worried about the probably biased opinions and influence these YouTubers will have. Many of them seem to have a very limited knowledge of the game which is what worries me. They focus around a certain area of the game, such as PKing. IDK, I suppose we'll see how it goes. I do like to see Jagex doing a 180 though and opening up a bit. :).

I don't play enough to make buying them now worth-while. I've logged in 3 times since July to do 3 TD trips and my time will probably be crunched even more in the near future. :(. I believe wand is 2133M flat right now.

So I'm killing TDs for a trip today (still going ATM): Edit: This is my drop tab on one account. Note that it doesn't include the limbs I sold for my green when they were 90M each. It took quite a hit from Armadyl and such dropping a lot, but meh. Hadn't planned on selling it for a while anyways, right? :P. Edit: If I'm going to try and snipe a wand a singularity this week (I'll leave my offer in all week, since it's the easiest mechanic), what would be a good price? Right now, singularities are 884M. Do you think if I left an offer in for mid (try to snipe a coinshare drop) and one for 700M that I'd get it (the singularity)? How much should I give for the wand? Having not played in a while, IDK the prices or fluctuations.

IDK why, but I never get tired of seeing: While getting KC. Guess I'm oldschool. Also, mage at Zamorak is terrible. Or at least IMO. I was getting destroyed pretty bad but was able to survive without eating - coming close to death a number of times. But ran upstairs for a drink, left auto/SS on (only expected to get hit maybe 3 times before I got back). Musta been a fast spawn. Came back and I was dead. Guess I'll try Torva/Tetsu or something.

TDs have always been nice to me. :P. Any ideas on if mage is still decent at Bandos or another GWD boss? Reason I do TDs is to relax, and I want to scratch off one of my other bosses in my free time that I can AFK. :). Or, is there any other boss I can just spam abilities at (any combat style) without having to really watch - so I can watch a movie on another screen? Have been expecting Seismic to drop for weeks, but it doesn't appear to be, so I might end up just grabbing a set + tectonic. It's very tempting. =/.

Why would you want your 3D world covered by interface. Shrink the 3D world to the top of your chatbox and that'd be perfect. :P. My "everything" setup is this: It's good for PvM and just about everything else. :).

Ah, I'd forgotten about the slayer helmet. Would Virtus and a Slayer helmet out DPS full Virtus (it has a boosted bonus for the set, right?)? Sorry, I've not played in a while - but I think when my brother got 91-99 Slayer in about 10 days, I don't think he used the slayer helmet. I'll ask him when he gets home from work. :P.

Where can't you survive with just soul split? Sure void has a low LP boost, but it should have a high enough DPS to heal. With a wand and off-hand, you can easily cast/momentum fast enough to fully heal, using a bonecrusher and demonhorn. Or am I missing something?
