Sigils, Visage and Abyssal whip i don't think is affected by Ring of wealth. However i believe Dragon boots does, as it's a common rare and that really is something i am 95% sure of. Commom rare? Contradiction much? Anyway i think the whole Ring of Weath is just a conspiracy. I still believe that this game is luck based and that in no way can you change that luck. I believe all drops are rondomly selected and if you just happen to get a rare while wearing a Wealth then youre lucky, but just as lucky as the guy gets that same rare without having to wear a RoW. Ive had alot of rare drops with and without a RoW and it just seems to me that wearing a RoW actually decreased my chances of getting one. You. Did. Not. Read. A. Single. Word. The. Original. Creator. Posted. lol...sorry, I can just tell you really didn't come into this thread with an open willingness to learn something. The whole point of this is that not all drops are going to be increased by the RoW. Wearing the ring will be beneficial at some monsters and unbeneficial at others. For example, you'll probably be best wearing a wealth at Aquanites because the Amulet of Ranging seems to be their most uncommon drop. However, Silver Ore and Dragonstones are more rare off an Abyssal Demon than a whip, so you'll probably be better off wearing a warrior or an imbued ring there. Since this thread came out, I've tested the theories in a small amount of monsters while slaying abyssals and aquanites and so far I'm leaning towards the fact that the OC is very right in his assumptions. So far i am leaning towards the fact that the RoW is a piece of crap. Ive had 11 Aquanites tasks, thats over 1.6k kills and i earned myself a whopping 1 Amulet. sad to say te amulet was a drop in the one task i decided NOT to wear my RoW. Explain that? As for out "common rare" D Boots, i recieved 4 pairs withing 350 kills also, NOT wearing a wealth. 2 G Mauls in 1 task, NOT wearing a wealth. Dragon legs, NOT wearing a wealth. Every D med ive recieved, NOT wearing a wealth. I would have to say that ive killed more monsters wearing a wealth than i have done NOT wearing one and i can assure you that NOT wearing one is the way to go.

Well yeah obviously you should be able to get more than 50 points per task if this was every to happen. Maybe even more than 50.

Well we all know that Slayer is probably one of the most respected 99's in the game. One of those 99's that can not be bought but can only be reached through ours of grinding. One of the most annoying aspecs of a task is the fact that you only get about 200 of a certain NPC as a task meaning that you need to go get a new tasks every now and then. This can become annoying. So i had a thought, good or bad i'll let you decide. Since camping somewhere is always a bit more fun than having to bank and get reassigned every hour why not come up with a new Slayer Master for those who have a certain high level in Slaying, lets say 95. This new Slayer Master will give you tasks that will require camping for a large ammount of time, for example 1000 Waterfiens, or 300 Black Dragons. This will not really influence the Exp rate of Slayer as you will still recieve the same ammount of exp per NPC as you did before, this might only make Slayer a bit "easier" in terms of getting new tasks. i for one would not mind getting a task of 1000 or even 2000 Waterfiends. Any thoughts on this?

First of all, sorry for bombarding you guys with so many questions, i just figure its easier to ask them in seperate threads to avoid confusion. Okay so i have had manye suggestions on how to make an extra bit of cash along with Slaying. I have not yet done the quest for MTK becaus ei never thought it was worth it, but now i guess every bit extra is worth it. So, how long would it take me to complete the quest? How much money could i gain Daily/Weekly if i would invest, lets say, 5mil? As for Farming, i plan on farming Ranarrs until i can do Snapdragons. Should i make the Ranarrs i get into Prayer Potions for that extra bit of money? Or should i just sell them and avoid the extra hastle? Same thing for when i am able to plant Snapdragons, should i Super Pot them or just clean and sell them? And then one last thing, is there anything else i can do "on the side" to get some extra money out of Slayer? Should i do the clues i get, etc. ?

I always forget about farming -.- Anyway these replies are enough to keep me from gettig it. Atm im using Guthans Plate and Skirt because im on a bit of a short leach when it comes to money. Since it only has a slightly worse Def Bonus than Torags/Dharoks, should i even considder upgrading?

Well i lost my Torso a long time ago and i was wondering wether or no it would be worth gettng it back or not? Keep in mind that i have 99 Defense. I know that i will lose out on alot of +Def Bonus is i switch from Barrows to the Torso but with most of my tasks the E E and Bunyip i use i overkill, most of the times. Having the Str Bonus of a Torso and a Berserker Ring should speed up my kills by a fraction, maybe just enought o reach my 85 Slayer goal a bit sooner that expected. I don't relly enjoy playing BA and most of you would then advise me not to get the Torso esspecially for that reason but i would also like to point out that i have no issue with grinding away for a day or two to get it back. So what would the best advise be?

Yes funny enough i thought of the Cannon aspect of the situation aswell. Since getting 99 Ranged is a goal aswell i thought that i could offer up some of the profit i make per task and Cannon some or even most of my tasks giving me not only faster Slayer experience but also gaining me Exp in Ranged. However, will i be making a big loss if i Cannon Banshees, Aberrants, etc. ? Not a big lose, the amount of cannon balls you use is not too high and the fact that the tasks will take 15-30 minutes makes up for it. Personalyl I've never used a cannon but many people praise it and can't slay without it. Some dislike the cost and no-hp xp from the cannons. And the same people who say slayer is good money are the ones who cannon every cannonable task. Sure, slayer is an awesome money maker but what most people nglect to say is that they only become good money after a certain level. That level is about 83 i would guess. Anyway, so i'm guessing that Duradel would be my better option in the end then?

Your answer is one that will most likely make me stay with Duradel. Im not really a big fan of dragons although i do enjoy the occasional Black Dragon task. If i do decide to stick with Duradel, which are some of his tasks i can Cannon whilst not making a huge loss?

Well last night i was thinking of switchng Slayer Masters from Duradel back to Sumona for a while. I thought this because as i remember Sumona used to give me alot of Banshees and Aberrant Spectres. These tasks were Pure Profit and they never took me very long. Since thats exactly what i'm looking for (to reach 85 Slayer as fast as possible while making a large-ish ammount of money), would it bebetter for me to go back to Sumona for my main Slayer tasks and then just to Duradel for my 10th? And please, i ask of you not just to say yes or no without a decet reason for sating so. Offer some advice on way you give your particular answer. Thank you in advance!

Yes, Help and Advice not Spoodfeed me. Anyway Grey's are the way to go if you're looking to do it the slightly slower yet slightly cheaper way. Alot of people will tell you to use both red and grey. Grey to lure and Red for actuall use. I would just stick to Grey though, they save you ALOT of money.

Well with he figures you poster there dont you think you could have taken 5 minutes to figure this out for yourself? 185 exp per chin devided by whatever ammount of exp you still need = ammount of chins needed. Ammount of chins needed x price = total ammount of money. God that was hard.... -.-

I doubt you kill them 3x faster than a whip :P but yh using a ZS and using Stab deals a considerable amount of damamge compared to whip, since your on task i suggest you use his setup, but i would replace the skillcape with a fire cape and the RoW with a onyx (I) ring but thats just me :P Actually its no lie. I had a Slayer next to me using a whip and b the time he finished his kill i was 1 hit away from finishing my 3rd. This did not happen just once.

Mage has absolutely no use Range>melee in terms of usage, but as said before get both. Dont get magic. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. I know for a fact that the Mage set has a few very good uses. I intend to use mage in combo with range to do fight caves. It saves out huge space and switching to range is easy. Also I use melee to train at dags, with 75 def they'll hardly hit you. Not only that, but ive used it at Rock Lobsters to great success, it works like a beast at Aviansies, a friend of mine used it at Abby Demons and was amazed by the result. It has alot of uses.

Well having had 9 of these tasks already i have finally come up with the setup i believe to be better than any other. Here is what i use: Karil Leathertop Karil Leatherskirt Infinity Boots Skillcape Zamorakian Spear (stap) Amulet of Fury Barrows Gloves Ring of Wealth Slayer Helm This is by far better than ranging. I manage to kill 3 times faster than people using whip and 2 times faster than rangers with this setup.

lucky you ive had 0 whips in 24 tasks mages are much better the boot drop rate is around 1/150 so most tasks you will get a boot drop most of time i make more cash on nech tasks then abby tasks Yeah i kinda fell inlove with mages yesterday. I used some pies and camped there for 500kills and got 4 boots. First drop was withing 10kills. Im still going to get 85 though because im thinking about getting 99 ranged on demons simply because they are good charm droppers and ill have a chance at a whip or two.

You will be able to do Team Bandos yes. You dont need a GS to get into a team. I find it easy to get a team with only a Whip + Def, a GS whill improve your chances of getting a team faster.

When i grind the bones and collect slim can i do it 28 at a time or do i have to do 14 : 14 then too?

Alright so i think my choice is pretty obvious now, but i'm unsure about how long this will take me. can anyone give me an estimate on how long it will take me to collect 2300 buckets of slime, grind 2300 bones and then pray at the altar with all of those? EDIT: Ive never really used the Ecto myself so i have no idea how long this will take. And are there any secrets what will speed up things?
