I kinda need to drive stick else I keep driving though [bleep]ing stop signs. Err, you can drive straight- or V-8 on your Ls and, if it's a diesel, on your Ps. It's 1 passenger under the age of 21 if you're under 25. Where in Aus does the limit exceed 110km/hr? NT apparently...

Oh yeah. So it's 4 years for your licence, starting at what, 16? In New Zealand if you did a driving course the youngest you could get your full was at 16 and a half haha.

Driving a manual isn't hard, I thought most people learnt to drive in one? I first learnt in an old Nissan Terrano, and my Mum's Corolla. The Corolla has a pretty good gearbox. Oh and Tim, what's the deal with driving a turbo car in Aussie? I can see why they'd want to restrict that, the really should restrict more powerful cars for people with their full licence. Is it only petrol turbo cars, or do turbo diesels count as well?

It's great isn't it  Except raising the driving age by one year still isn't going to do anything. It is if you've already got your licence. They gonna make the tests harder aren't they? I'm not too sure because it doesn't concern me cos I have my full

I keep imagining you as the guy in your avatar. It's so disconcerting... This is how I always imagined Omar: Haha joking, of course, but I just remember that picture of your afro.
  11. Please don't feed the troll, just ignore him. Quoting his posts just means there is more mess to try and clean up.

The main reason I can't get one myself is because the government requires you to drive with a licenced driver in the passenger seat for a year. a. My parents don't have a vehicle b. My parents don't have drivers permits :P That is rather unfortunate. I guess I can see how that would work if you live in a big city that has decent public transport.

Kind of feel like selling my car and buying a truck. I really want a Hilux for some reason. This is probably a stupid idea though.

Thanks for my country and our formerly relaxed driver licensing system!
  15. Jeffwilson99 replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Lol maybe you need to adjust the seat.

I think it was longer than that, maybe a couple of weeks?

You could offer to cook for her, then you can't complain about what you get. She probably gets sick of cooking every day, so it would be nice if you could help out, then you both benefit. Just let her know what ingredients you need  Problem solved!

I've had to get up at 7 am every day for the past week for rowing. It messes with my usual-summer sleep schedule. ROB SINCE WHEN DO YOU ROW I started training around march, why? Ouchy loves his rowing.

Brand new? I would go second hand, for that price second hand you could get something much better. I have a similar model, but a bit newer and I only paid like $NZD 600 for mine. They are pretty good cameras, basic, but very easy to learn how to use.

Got Fraped, had about 100 new friends, tried to delete most of them, and several birthday wishes before I changed it. It's weird how people just accept you...
  21. Maybe I just expected too much of it... [hide]I definitely agree with your points, especially the one about Fred. I really don't feel like that was something that could be skipped over. We spent 6 movies (and books obviously) getting attached to Fred and then we didn't even get to see him die. I honestly have never liked Filch in the movies. In every single one they try to give him funny parts (especially in #5) but I always thought it came off as stupid and waaaay too cheesy. Almost as if it was intended for 10 year olds.[/hide] Yeah I agree with all of these points. That sigh was me :| I didn't think the [hide=Potential Spoiler? Not really, but may as well hide it]Prince's tale[/hide] was that good. It wasn't as sad as people made it out to be. I didn't sigh, but I was thinking the same thing.
  22. Yeah nice work mate, envious of your 99's, I never got close to any. Good to see you came back alright.
