  1. I'm gonna go ahead and ignore this because you admitted to botting your account in General, LOL. Where? Exactly. I only said botting wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
  2. Your lazy if you bot your runescape account while you go to work? Ok. A lazy Rs'er no doubt. A cheater and everything that goes with it. Botting breaks the economy more than it helps it. It gives undeserved wealth to some and encourages inflation (people with undeserved money tend to not care how much they pay for their items). So you would rather pay double price for certain things than have bots? Ok. OT: Pure awsome As I tend to skill a lot, I rarely buy things through the GE, so the things I sell are cheapened because there are countless botters out there pouring items in the economy that would otherwise not be there, hence driving prices down because there is too much offer. One of the reason some items are that expensive is because some cheaters find themselves with extra cash and don't care how much they pay for their items because a machine will get them more in-time. So demand is driven by cheaters and helping prices be that high. Prices have gone way up since the trade limits have been implemented. SInce players cannot buy their cash via trades, they "buy" their cash via botting. Since a lot of cheaters find themselves with lots of cash to spare, they competition each other for items, driving prices up. PVP statuettes are not the only thing affecting the economy buddy... While it is true botting devalues resources and raises the price of hard to get stuff (rares) The blatant truth is that Jagex must not really care atm since they don't even perm ban bots anymore and their "State of the art anti-macro system" is a joke. Looks like they lost all those subscribers with the removal of the wilderness for nothing. GF much?
  3. Yes, middle men are somewhat pointless tbh. Don't understand the second part lol....
  4. 1. nobody cares what you consider because you are not 99% of the runescape population 2. you are not OP and you don't know his motives for an easy 99 1. I guarantee 99% of the RS population doesn't think Cooking, Firemaking, or Fletching are achievements. 2. I can read. Obviously he wants more capes with minimal cost to himself. To show off that he has 3 or so capes? No idea. But it seems like he is asking what stuff is the easiest so he can get it and "show it off" or something of the sort.

  6. Its people like you that make me hate the people who have the easy skillcapes. So go earn a few mil and buy one yourself. Why hate? Because I'm not that desperate to trim my skillcape that I have to buy the quickest skill to trim. I wouldn't consider having goals to be desperate. He is asking for the cheapest and quickest 99s I wouldn't consider that a goal. Unless your goal is to try to convince people your pro because you got 99 cooking because it was cheap and easy there isn't a goal here.

  8. Or they are smart because they can multi-task. For all you know those people might be at work, gaining money to feed their families while their bot levels them so they can enjoy their off time more. They are getting further in life than you in this case. EDIT: People have botted SW for a week no breaks. I'm pretty sure it's not that hard to bot while you are doing other stuff. ok so you would still be able to party all the time WHILE say making a project that you have to represent to your investors, you ARE TRULY TALENTED =D> <_< , but i bet you 75% of the could party all the time, but would they get the project done probably not If you had a robot do it for you it would be easy. = The point.

  12. This. People bot so they can do other things while their account grinds. Or so i'm told.
  13. They made a decision and now they need to stick with it. Maybe a change in how they divide their efforts. The whole 'community'-thing Jagex is promoting atm is not necessary and a waste of time and money if you ask me. If there are good, new content updates, clans will thrive around those. Penguin ccs/stealing creation ccs/fish flingers cc/... Zero money spent on 'community' but a very huge boost to it... There were figures shown on these fora about RS-profits from last year, when you look at the profit margin taken on one year,I think RS has alot of potential left... Imagine the sucess if old BH was still there. (not even the wildy, just old bh) There would be way more paying subscribers = better updates to boring skills = legit playing becomes better.
  14. I don't understand the point you're trying to make, but I never thought you used bots. Obviously if I was a bot then in 100days+ of playtime I would have much better stats than that. I mostly sit around and chat tbh. Or pk. But range pking is god awful so I don't do that much anymore.
  15. Btw @ Omali and the others that think I am a bot My "Botted Stats" are in my sig. EDIT: Here is the site if you wanted to see how many bots there are http://www.autofighter.org/ <-- the bots are on the right lol. Also, if by posting that link I am doing something bad just tell me and I will take it down
  16. Quoted for the truth it holds. You may be onto something. The fact that Jagex remodeled their front page to have a disney add for a while and aren't instant perma banning bots is a bad sign. Maybe they will add the wildy back so more people will start playing (My hope and dream ofc) :D Or should we start the forum R.I.P Runescape (date it crashes here) <-- the second true death of Runescape
  17. The real question is, if you had a robot to do your homework would you have used it? I would have. AND I found some botting forums No idea if i can post the link here but if i am allowed you should look at all the bots lmfao. From what the forums on there say, people have botted Soul Wars 24 hours a day for a week and didn't get caught. <-- Jamflex's anti-macroing at work there.
  18. Yea I'm so jealous. I wish I could get a program to play a game for me, because as you astutely pointed out Runescape requires me to sit around my house all day while botters, I assume such as yourself, are out getting all the hot chix and drinking bacardis and having sweet rave parties and greeting other people by doing that thing where you point both of your fingers like guns and go "pshew pshew" like the sound guns make, and then you go beat the [cabbage] out of some nerds because math is for [bleep]s, and it's the only way for you to assert yourself over those losers with no social lives. I get the feeling howbadisbad is going to pull a BloodArgon, and we'll see a post from him in the "I got banned" thread explaining how he's quitting after his umpteenth macro account got banned. But hey, at least in the meantime you've managed to put dem nurds in their place, right? I lol'd reading this because you put things in such hilarious terms, while assuming that by "have social lives" I meant going to huge parties and being like a boss. Tbh, if I was a bot I would laugh at the people who play legit (beat their asses irl by omali's standards) because I got the same thing as them with much less work, and I had fun (rave parties by omali's standards) And yes I will come back on this thread and say: OMFG JAMFLX BAND ME WTF DOOD I WUZ UNLY BOTIN FOR AL 99'S OMFG I QUIT RIP FAQSCAPE (Insert date when I was banned here) You do realise that much of what you just said can be easily classified under 'ass-hole mentality'. Its honestly hard to not be when you are being assaulted by multiple people, and none of the people from the original botting thread are here to help you out. I can't fight off everything by myself. But the true reason I have no hate for bots when it all boils down to it is because lower prices are win. Getting 99 prayer on 8k a Dbone isn't my idea of "Awesome" EDIT: @ Dinner Isn't that why you wanted a robot to do your homework as a kid? I know we all did so don't deny it.

  21. Or they assume you are a nub wanting free stuff and place you on their ignore list. Your basis for finding out if people are bots is somewhat hilarious, and does not prove in the slightest that people are bots. They just want their pixels more than they want to give you free stuff.
  22. And you sound like you are jealous of those who did = Stalemate there For a near maxed player liek you, bots should never get in your way, only help you as item prices are cheaper because of bots. Jagex needs their subscription money atm so they don't perm ban.
  23. Because Jamflex is poor because their income has taken a hit over the years of these crappy updates. Hints to they are poor: 1. Raising of subscription prices 2. Runefest ticket prices are over 9000 (even though they claim they aren't making profit  ) 3. Crappy, poorly designed/ half completed updates needing complete reworking 4. And now, temp bans, so they can get their subscription moneysss Obviously the company is at fault for wrecking their own income that they have to rely on such measures now. (It started with the wilderness removal) <- *turns flame shield on* Sorry, you're just throwing assumptions at us. 1. Because they can 2. Because they can 3. Thats your opinion 4. Perhaps And you are assuming that bots are becoming more common without any true factual basis other than "you think the guys in the mining guild were bots" They might have just not have talked to you 1. Because they can 2. Because they want their pixels and talking with random noobs who are like "OMFG ME MININ GULD SPUT R TEKEN IT R A BOT THER!" lowers their pixel income. 3. Its your opinion that bots are bad. 4. Perhaps it is against the rules, but if everyone followed the rules then jails wouldn't be needed  EDIT: The tickets are like $115 USD. What couldn't you afford if tickets were that much? Especially if it only lasts 1 day.
  24. Because Jamflex is poor because their income has taken a hit over the years of these crappy updates. Hints to they are poor: Raising of subscription prices Runefest ticket prices are over 9000 (even though they claim they aren't making profit  ) Crappy, poorly designed/ half completed updates needing complete reworking And now, temp bans, so they can get their subscription moneysss Obviously the company is at fault for wrecking their own income that they have to rely on such measures now. (It started with the wilderness removal) <- *turns flame shield on* And if I was? I would be getting my boring pixels so I can play the fun aspects of the game while you are slowly dieing inside from training agility to 90+ talking about things like achievement, honor, and reps.,While I am enjoying the game.
  25. Your opinion on things change when jagex alters the game to the point its almost unrecognizable and the problem is still there. I and the community for that matter didnt decide overnight that bots were acceptable. For the longest time i was on that anti bot crusade. Everyone was, we all hated the bald, green men who were killing the game. Jagex added the trade/pvp updates and suddenly they disappeared. We had to adapt and accept such a radical change. But when it comes down to it is Jagex fault in the first place that people bot in the first place. For reasons ive been explaining throughout this thread. This isnt the same game it was back in rs classic or even early rs2. Jagex has the time and the recourses to add new fun ways to train skills. I guarantee much of the bots are people in this catagory who are sick of the (boring) grind. I dont mind the fact that it takes 100's of days to max out. But id like to enjoy it while i work on that goal :P. You are just rationalising using bots to prevent yourself having to train the proper way skills you hate. People who bot and blame Jagex are delusionnal. The fault lies with the person botting and the reson behind the usage of bots is not because the grinding is boring. It's because they want either lvls or GPs without having to gain them with actual effort. Call it laziness, greed or "having fun playing the game", in the end these people are breaking the rules and should be removed from the game. If the playerbase wants to play this game AFK, they should really question themselves why they are playing this game. Why train skills you hate legit? You should be playing the part of the game that you like. If you need to train a skill you hate to unlock something fun, why not bot it? They are playing this game to have fun, and burning X number of logs so their handcannon won't blow up isn't fun for most people. You just sound mad because people are doing the thing that you wish you had done for your pixels.
