You have no ground to stand on in this debate. Ranging is a very easy skillcape to get if you chin. Before there were chins, yeah, ranging was a long 99 to get, but now you can get 250k exp an hour EASILY. Cooking swordies are like 170k an hour. So frankly, until you get something that isnt "easy", put a sock in it. If you are looking for some nice and easy 99s, go for woodcutting, fm, cooking, theiving, or hunter. These are all cheap or profitable. If you dont mind spending some cash, you could get smithing, herblore, or crafting. If you are looking for a quick cape to trim with, go for the first options. If you want what i would deem and impressive cape, go for the latter 3. I am personally aiming for 99 rc untrimmed. Im getting pretty close. The effort is worth it! ive never seen an untrimmed rc cape before, and plan to keep it untrimmed forever (using the telegrab trick). I would do what you enjoy most. You forget that the more money you spend the faster xp you recive. With cooking I don't think it's even possible to spend as much as you would spend chinning, and with chinning you need 85+ range to start off with minimum. and also somewhat on topic With 99 range I got my first of these Was our last kill too :P So get 99 range and you can be pro with me and get pro drops from arma :D

Shouldn't Jagex reward players for being active and having a more diverse set of activities? It seems counter-inuitive to make the straightfoward method more rewarding. I don't trust Jamflex to come up with intuitive things atm. To many epic fails recently that Jamflex should clean up before working on new stuff. @ Zimbu I sound spiteful when I get "into" an argument. Soz.

Well for starters Range sucks in almost every mini game, this one is no exception. Magic is terrible in SC because Jamflex nerfed all of the freeze times and made it possible to pickpocket runes. Melee is way overpowered, you just get a C5 Dagger and suicide the other team. Exactly, especially when the other team is determined to 1 item for the entire game, they each get a dagger by 18:00 and start rushing your base. It's way worse than when the ancient mages come 8 minutes later. because even if you kill them they keep on coming back. Reminds me of zombies tbh

We were discussing the impact the Late 2007 updates had, not whether botting was right or wrong. Sure, it was a tangent off that subject, but in this case his personal views are irrelevant to the current discussion at hand. Whether or not some of those were bots the effect on Jagex's income is the same. Addiction is a terrible thing, without it I would have quit long ago tbh. For some the update overcame their addiction and they quit. And losing 4% of your subscribers in that amount of time is something worthy of a medal.

Actually, increasing the numbers is a complete update. Whether it is a good one or not is debatable. They could have saved it for when they got the first of the new ideas ready, but they didn't. They have their reasons, whatever they may be. It doesn't help that Jamflex has a fetish for secretism either. Secretism not a word ftw
