Unless I am very wrong, there's an arc in the main story in which a "half dragon" attempts to procreate by force with the main character, a prepubescent female. That fulfills both the dragon and the pedophilia statements. Oh and, how's dwarf tales going ross? I heard something about it being stopped for some reason.
-
Including the dragon pedophilia?
-
I REALLY don't like drow tales, it has some really creepy parts, I suppose the soft core lesbian porn is decent though. Gone with the blast wave amuses me though.

This whole discussion is a good example of why I am REALLY starting to most of what I see of FATE. Playing the system should not give a large advantage over simply playing a concept (Choosing what seems thematically appropriate rather than what is mechanically expedient) at least in my mind. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't projectiles launched by reduced/enlarged characters do the same amount of damage as they regain their former mass? Oh and retech, if we're going for overpowered 3.X spells, otto's irresistible dance (YOU MUST DANCE, NO SAVES ALLOWED), the maze spell, force cage and candle of invocation to cast GATE/ greater planar binding from a malconvoker spring to mind (Well, that and grease/color spray/enfeebling ray/ metamagiced touch of idiocy).

It's not like everyone in America has a shot gun, I only have a 9mm pistol (Bite me, I go to a public school in California, I *need* firearms) for deterring of burglars. @ Retech: I remember there being a couple of other campaigns going on, specifically one shot dungeons (that people were supposed to DM for at least once with their own dungeon). What happened to them? (I might well get back to running Kingmaker once school gets out, depending upon the summer school workload).

New Character Name: Armand Achille Country: Tfed (French sub group) Origins: The French, like many of the groups in the Tfed, had a set of competitions to determine exactly who among them was represented on the Unity (or its successor ship). These included, but were not limited to; Foot races, target shooting, competitive wine tasting, wrestling, mathematics examinations, and interrogation on the secrets of the British. These were designed to determine the best and brightest out of those who signed up and signed the liability waiver. Cheating was not only turned a blind eye to, but actively encouraged (unless you got caught) as, by the words of the commissioner (who may or may not have been drunk at the time) "Manges-tu la merde et morrir! Je peux faire que je veux!" (Roughly translated to: Eat [cabbage] and die! I can do what I want!). So, it came to pass that it was not necessarily the smartest, and certainly not the most honorable frenchman who became a crew member on the Unity. (This IS after the events of the first SPACE right?)

The very fact that you hold these grudges across games makes you, in my mind, not suitable for a position of power (Just wanted to let you know why you won't be getting my vote).
-
I will cast my vote for... ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! ANARCHY! (Because it will happen anyways)

It was nice; really clean and aside from the more aggressive drivers (which admittedly have nothing on the LA ones). It was rather expensive in the touristy sections of downtown (though that is to be expected) but over all it is a city that I would like to live in (kind of like the better parts of San Diego).

Christ, take it to the back room. (Directed at Lynx and Mather) Also isn't playing yourself a bit... counterintuitive when one is roleplaying?

GET OUTTA MAH COUNTRY YOU AMERICAN INFIDEL!!1!1! CORRECTION. THE BAND TRIP WAS TO BRITISH COLUMBIA (VICTORIA MORE SPECIFICALLY). I AM NOW BACK ON AMERICAN SOIL (HEHE 'MURICAN) AND QUITE FRANKLY THE DRIVERS IN VICTORIA WERE WORSE THAN THOSE IN MY TOWN (IN CALIFORNIA). HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT!?! (Caps lock is cruise control for cool)
-
6 day 9 performance band trips to Canada are awesome. I would enjoy a return to the modless hegemony, especially since it seemed to go on for a bit longer (because if you want to steamroll you have to justify it to people (read: browbeat) all of which who have a vested interest in you not steamrolling).

I *am* investing, I'm just doing it in a slightly different way. (Note: Le gross poisson cost around, oh 1k kt to build)
-
I wanted teh monies. I transfer 2500 Kt to Peri and 2500 to Jacques. You two can work out what you want. Thank you. Le gros poisson (a tug) is now operational.

Bit of a [bleep] move dusty, bah, probably serves me right for thinking you weren't playing a power hungry egomaniac this time around. At any rate, this should be interesting. Well you guys made me an enemy by telling the British! I never told anyone about what you did, what I said was that the British will be pissed if they find out that you stole a mining ship. It's none of my damned business what the rest of the crew of the pegasus did. On a similar note, what the hell happened to the pegasus? I scrapped it. I could send you some money to buy an escort if you'd like. Ah, that would make sense. The escort would be a bit much, but yes, please.

Mainly because total destruction is not exactly cost effective, and hard as hell to do (when you're marching in ground troops you set the stage for asymmetrical warfare. That and when you conquer a country you generally want something other than the total destruction of its lands.

*Another* option would be for players to not act like power hungry dictators for once. Or you know NPCs could grow half a spine for once (well aside from the last arch hegemony) and act on threats that are near them. I mean, sure you can beat the living [cabbage] out of the ivory coast and take slaves, but can you beat back Britain and France as well? Or players could actually role play slightly and put themselves into the role of the power hungry megalomaniac that they supposedly are (You don't make alliances with other superpowers, at least for long at any rate). Retech the premise of hegemony is/was "You now have control over a country, what do you do (which involved some roleplaying)?" just because you started off playing it as something other than what was intended in the original thread doesn't mean that is what the original premise is.

Please tell me that's not pronounced how I think it's pronounced. And you had to throw Freudian in there, just for extra irony, didn't you? Phoque means seal in French(pronounced foque or something like that, I'm not sure how to correctly write pronunciation). But who knows, maybe a cigar's just a cigar...

I'd be more than willing to devote some of my free time to this. On a note about the speeches, just do what seems to fit the nation/species/religion/organization/whatever you are playing as. Ritual sacrifices of virgins, democratic rallies, mass prayer, whatever, rping makes thing a bit more interesting for the GM, and the *last* thing you want is a bored GM (either the game dies or the GM starts screwing with you making up new and exciting scenarios...). Right, my faction will be... THE GLORIOUS PEOPLE'S FREE, DEMOCRATIC, REPUBLICAN, SEMI FREUDIAN, NON VICTORIAN, TECHNOCRATIC, MERITOCRACY, OF PHOQUE! (FLUFF PENDING)

Two things in my defense, firstly; I built those nukes, damn it, I wanted to use them (and I nuked one hell of a lot more than the European wall, the hypersonic bombers that I used had orders to nuke their primary target (a large city) their secondary target (the Berlin wall (EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM)) and then crash at hypersonic speeds into a government building, armory or some such. Keep in mind that these were unmanned bombers. Secondly, it wasn't just nukes that I was using, I had a whole damned system of orbital weaponry that, while it would be quickly taken out, would have been pointed at major army depots and such with orders to glass the place. But, yeah I knew I was going to lose that war, so I decided to go out in a blaze (hehe) of glory.

I'm not going to be able to run this for an undeterminate amount of time. The chief reason for this is that finals are fast approaching and my teachers are loading us up on homework to an inane degree (this is because of the recent furlough days so they get the duty, nay the privilege to cram as much damned work into the final weeks of school as humanly possible). I have *some* free time but little more than an hour or so a day (when the studying for finals and the extra work adds up, like it is now). So, in short, I apologize, but at least for a time it won't be possible for me to run this.

Well, that's one bleeding huge research project down, two more to go (Just finished up an eight paragraph essay on the distribution of wealth in the world, now it's time to start working on the French essay. English gets lowest priority.).

Pagan is a bit of a blanket term, if you ask me. Just like how Christianity (in all of its subsets), Islam (see note about Christianity)and Judaism (Again, see note about Christianity) are all Abrahamic religions one can be a pagan and believe in a completely different set of gods/principles . (Admittedly the example is flawed due to a shared belief of one specific god in the Abrahamic religions, but still the point stands.) Now, judging by what Lynx has posted before hand, I would say she belongs to the wiccan subset of the category of religions referred to as pagan. That being said, I think calling yourself a pagan is rather pointless as almost all religions/philosophies at least have a name. I would go on to say that it is rather pointless to talk about your religion in general on a role playing game thread that is of the sci fi genre (however soft it may be).
