I just finished creating a wizard if anyone wants one ready made. Grease, enlarge person, bulls strength.

To summarize the session for icu: The crew of the Prince Regent set out from Port Wander to Lucin's Breath to satisfy the requirements of their contract. That is to say they needed to bring mining supplies to the world. After a quick stop at the Hermitage they picked up an Archeologist Calixis Jones, who had a proposition. He has a contact in Silverhammer who found a massive trove of artefacts, both archeotech and relics that could only be sold on the cold trade and he needed passage on a ship, as payment he was willing to split the artefacts 50/50 with the rogue trader in question. After picking up Dr. Jones they made their way to Lucin's breath and delivered their cargo to the winterscale dynasty, who had been embroiled in war with the Chordan dynasty for five years over the deposites of Nephium (A promethium additive) on the planet. They then decided to take a mission from a winterscale representative to discover just what was going on in the cities built by the dead xenos around the Nephium pools and why workers kept disappearing from them.

As a note to all: If you optimize I will have little choice but to optimize with you to keep the game interesting. This would not be a problem except ONLY AROUND 3 OF YOU ARE. Seriously, some of you decided to go with a cool character concept rather than something that would be the "best" and that is awesome. The problem is however that I will have one hell of a time making an encounter challenging for both the non optimized players and not letting the optimized ones steam roll it. I can do it, but it would up the risk of character death by a large amount. A LARGE AMOUNT.

You will need a face for the party in some way or another (seriously, Kobolds are monsters, Tengu are thieves, oreads are extraplanar and thus can't be trusted and shifters/half orcs are generally looked down up) peasants being the racist [bleep]s that they are you will have some governing difficulties without a relatively normal looking person running things (or at least appearing to).

You need to re do your hitpoints at the very least, you have d8 hit dice (so you need do roll 1d8 for each class level after first). I'd add in the strength score as well seeing as how it might be important.

Both wyvern and I have the pathfinder books (I have the core as well as some of the supplements (ie tome of secrets)). I would prefer to stick to races that can be justified in the river kingdoms area though (dwarfs yes, humans yes, elves yes, drow not so much, same for area specific races) though the onus would be on you to create a backstory that works.

I'd say no. Unless you can point me to the RAW that contradicts me, unless you want me to start giving bandits and such heroic level stats of course.

Oreads are rock people. They are in the Beastiary 2 and don't have Level Adjustment. It looks fine. If people are interested in playing melee classes I am fine with working/finding a pathfinder conversion for the Tome of Battle.

I did a rather fun presentation in French today, we were supposed to talk about ourselves and draw it out along the lines of a Face book page. I did so and added in a part (read lied about) doing karate. Other people had done some expositions of what they did as well, so with the help of a friend who agreed to participate when I got to the line "et je fais un peu de karate" turned around and stage punched him (mimed a punch barely missing his head while slapping my chest quickly with my free hand to produce the thump) and he fell down to the floor as if I had actually punched him. All in all I got some shocked stares (especially considering that I continued the presentation nonchalantly) and got a bit of extra credit from the teacher.

It's around the same level in the North as well (at least for certain subjects, english not withstanding). However, aside from language classes (who just got a new set of books after a good 6-7 years using the old ones) we don't have shiny new things either (and this is in Davis a town where we pass property taxes to let students take 7 periods). So, what's the plan for the sweep of the Sarlane? I was thinking of having everyone take an armored space suit, a plasma cutter, a high powered side arm and a close combat or two handed weapon (as well as something that puts out fire). We would also (most likely) take cart pulled shield generators to allow us a new tactic (based upon the fact that plasma cutters ignore shields), that is to say back them up into the wall with a shield and incinerate them. Note: I was using a VISOR and AI scans to find the microbes.

Retech, we are NOT using this as a bio weapon. Even if it only spreads by contact through the blood stream (unlikely) the rate at which the infection spread (and the properties it displayed) are worrying enough that I would advise taking no chances. Hell if we could I'd advise glassing the surface of Astare 3 and sending the Sarlane into the sun to avoid any unnecessary risk.

I'll aid you to a degree but I have some conditions. I already dealt with a single infected (that is to say you) and would rather not deal with a mass of them. If we do this we're going full on. That is to say armored space suits, flame throwers (or something along those lines) close combat weapons and heavy weapons as well as massive shield generators and plasma cutters. I intend to take no risks in this.
