  1. If anyone's interested I will throw something together to be done after the first part of the Kingmaker campaign is finished. I can't guarantee how good it will be but it should be fairly representative of gameplay. Oh and before the first session I would like to oversee character creation. (Basically we'll be using random rolls that I want to oversee because I'm a paranoid [bleep])
  2. Hrmm what type of game are people interested in? Because piracy would have consequences if you started raiding the colony worlds of other rogue traders...
  3. I was thinking of running the two campaigns simultaneously (on the weekend unless I can get a session time that works for everyone) ie Rogue Trader Saturday Kingmaker Sunday.
  4. Well, first off in rogue trader you won't be counting coins, that's peasants work and you have scribes/accounts in you 20k+ crew to do that for you. Rather you have a profit factor that is used to roll tests to see if you can buy equipment. Secondly rogue trader can be played however you really want it to though the usual theme can end up like conquistadors IN SPACE! I will most likely be playing up the dark humor quite a bit as well. It takes place in the Forty first millennium where you play as the crew of (and generally as) a rogue trader, that is to say someone who has been granted a warrant of trade from part of the Imperial government that allows them to do basically whatever they want outside of Imperial space (aside from consort with certain xenos, but they would [bleep] you up anyways). Your mission as a rogue trader is to explore strange new worlds (to dominate, bring under the control of the God-Emperor and abuse for resources and profit), seek out new life (to exterminate) and new civilisations (to steal new technology from) to boldly go where no man has gone before (primarily because if they do theyll have their heads bitten off).
  5. Well, I just filled out a course request for my second to last year in high school (junior year). I will (with any luck) take: Intro to Analysis (pre calc) AP Biology AP Art History American Lit. Honors AP US History French 4 Honors Journalism 1/Discussion&Debate On a side note I've been toying with the idea of only running one kingmaker session a week and on the other day running a session of Rogue Trader (PM me for the details on where to acquire the materials).

It is fairly amusing for those of us who don't have to deal with it.

Keep in mind that you won't always be fighting mites/creatures with DR/cold iron.

"Wow, just... wow; I suppose that's all I can say on the matter. I must say that I'm glad that I did not accept Indonesia's offer of friendship. To be blunt, what they did was monstrous. The citizens of Japan did nothing to provoke such an attack and war was not declared until the bombs started to fall. And all of this over some espionage committed by the Japanese government. I hate to say it but Indonesia has in my eyes sunk to the same moral standing as those who ordered the blood bath in China and the Japanese hypocrites. The only other thing I can say is may god rest the souls of the dead and may he have mercy on those of the Indonesian cabinet."

I would prefer it if you altered between sessions. So if you altered during a session then yes you probably should change it back. Out of curiosity what did you alter?

Do you think it is a good idea to rest in a dungeon that you have not completely cleared out? Mind you with enemies still in it...

You're not the first to say that, nor do I think you are among the the first five. It's a pretty well accepted fact that Tavernites should not hold public (or private) office. The whole "May god have mercy upon mine enemies for I shall have none" attitude is really nonconstructive to peaceful discussion. South Africa starts trade discussions between Mozambique and Namibia to facilitate freer trade between our great nations.

"Still, if Japan is to act as it says it wants to (that is to say at the forefront of the world) then it must not engage in such schemes if it wants to keep both its citizens and other countries' respect. And how can a country lead when it does not have the simple respect of the other countries of the world?"
  22. Fallout: New Vegas(The Caesar's legion missions were hilarious), Fallout 3(meh), Ork campaign of Dawn of War: Retribution (CAPTAIN BLUDDFLAG, I'VE GOT ELDAR BLOOD ON ME. IT'S SHINY) Dawn of War 1, DA, Masseffect 1&2 (kind of meh in my opinion, same for DA).

"How can the government of Japan claim any moral high ground when they were caught attempting to steal the secrets of another country? To my knowledge Indonesia did not allow access to their governments facilities and yet Japanese agents were sent. The law states that the agents should be tried for espionage and if found guilty punished to the full extent of the law. Honestly, what was the Japanese government trying to achieve in this?" - Jan Van Zyl.

That is grotesquely brilliant. People back then were actually creative. This, but with the addition of an extra hole being cut for your groin. And honey and fecal matter slathered all over that as well. Sounds like a normal Saturday night I would assume that they didn't do that simply because of the chance of the subject dying before his 2-3 weeks of agony were through. That being said in certain ancient cultures (Siberian and inuits iirc) they had a slightly different method of execution. They would leave someone out for the mosquitoes/horse flies and feed/water them until they died of either blood loss or exposure. Then there's how they killed an English King (well a specifically horrible way) that is that they sodomized him with a red hot poker. EDIT: Hrmm... [cabbage] is censored but sodomy isn't?

That will be costing you money. Well I'm sure you'll provide for him since you're willing to prove that your documents are correct. No because I think he is corrupt. Funny, because your country is run by corrupt officials. AHAHAHAHAH IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE OF HIS ORDERS TO CORRUPT OFFICIALS TO KILL CORRUPT OFFICIALS.
