Jesus, at the very least give him a chance. Who knows? He may be hex; however he may not be. If we assume that every new member is hex and act accordingly then we'll drive away potential members who we could use. Just try not to be paranoid and give the new guy a chance.

Well there's other systems (like for instance 7th sea [which is basically a high adventure low fantasy setting in not 17th century europe] or Legend of the Five Rings which I am trying to learn) than simple D&D. I think dungeoneering is still going as well.

I can attest that I am smarter than the average north american bear. I can't say anything about asian bears though... However I do not claim to be a genius, though I do rather well in most humanities courses (Not just because you can simply brow beat everyone else down with a large vocabulary).

Nex the best way I can think to describe it is this. You're fairly proficient with throwing axes correct? Well try throwing a much larger ax the same way you use a throwing ax. It's the same thing in a larger size but requires completely different use.

The fact that they're listed as different weapons leads me to believe that you need to buy exotic weapon proficiency for each one if you want to use it.

EDIT: Unless the Sica is simply another type of Shotel then no, you don't get proficency with both the shotel and the Sica. Could you point me to where you found the pseudodragon listing as well?
