Warhammer 40k
I'd be willing to try to set up a server earth (Ross and I adjourned early on account of dungeoneering). Fun fact, A blood thirster can, in fact become lost in the warp :shades:.

Warhammer 40k
Yep, one token per model (Doesn't have to be a completely different token but each model must be represented) (And why not the map that you fought icu on ross? [oh and have you thought of incorporating tervigons into your army for swarm tactics?)

Warhammer 40k
So... anyone interested in testing out their list (1,000 or 2,000 points)

Check my post on the front page.

Warhammer 40k
Just to clarify, you need both your codex AND the fifth edition rulebook to play effectively.
-
Warhammer 40k
Well what I meant was for you to buff up your units in general with those last 100 some points (so they can survive say a furious charge by tyranid warriors)
-
Warhammer 40k
Mental note, bring in blood thirster first round to maximize effectiveness. Earth I'd put in some more points into troops if I were you. On a semi related note, flesh hounds are not that good and may be taken out of the 1000 point list.
-
Warhammer 40k
Well the thing is you need two units of troops (in your case daemonettes) to fill up your base requirements (that and for when we play objective based games to hold objectives)
-
Warhammer 40k
I'd be willing to pick it up online (Again if I can find the codexes/rulebook I could whip up an ogre/tomb kings list)

Warhammer 40k
Slaanesh is the god of excess not just pleasure (basically sensation to the extreme) (though not necessarily pleasant ones). In any rate *ahem* BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE EDIT: One question, if I were to obtain the imperial armor series would they be used? (This is mostly for paul's benefit as he's the one playing what may be a mech heavy army) EDIT EDIT: @earth: If you want I could give you some guidlines as to your list (I'm currently working on a reasonable marines list right now)

Warhammer 40k
Okay, so a quick compilation of known armies/players Spork- Tau Rocco- Tau Ross- Tyranids Paul- Imperial Guard Earth- Space marines Icu- Daemons Grim- Daemons If I missed you I apologize.

Warhammer 40k
Erm, I suppose you could ask /tg/ for help with it (they would be able to describe the creation far better than ross or myself)
-
Warhammer 40k
Check page 9 of the codex for Hq options. EDIT: @Ross, I would be willing to play a test match over maptools today or tomorrow (or over the weekend)

Warhammer 40k
Yep, it's in there (look around at the beginning sections). Also all of our saves printed (unless we buy armor) are invulnerable saves (suck it power weapons).

I acquired them through completely and utterly legal channels of course :-)

The Back Room
Well, the thing is it was supposed to be a parody of all of the dystopian sci-fi settings (everything over the top stupidly dark, stupid, decaying empire, etc.) turned up to 15 and given meth-amphetamines. It's supposed to be taken with a grain of salt (or assault harharhar) and lightly even for that. That being said, some parts of the Imperial guard lore are admittedly mildly depressing and can be rather inspirational (depending upon how you play the guard). Oh, and imperial guard codex (because I can) http://www.mediafire.com/file/2ayf9z98xao0ajb/Imperial%20Guard.pdf

The Back Room
Yep, Here's the 5e rulebook and the tau codex (note you need both the codex and the rulebook downloaded to play) http://www.mediafire.com/file/bis8tjemrb1bd3i/Core%20Rulebook.pdf http://www.mediafire.com/file/0d07fpw6wk5lr3n/Tau.pdf

The Back Room
Okay, First off everything costs a specific number of points. A space marine costs 16 points per model and a commander costs 75 points. You may purchase various upgrades for your units as specified in the codex with a certain number of points. Secondly, each type of model is either a: HQ unit, or an elite unit, or a troop unit or a fast attack unit or a heavy support unit. You must have one HQ squad and two troop squads in your list as a base (anything else is optional). Now you may notice that certain units as listed in the codex have a squad number attached. This is the minimum number of units that may be in a squad and the maximum number of units that may be in a squad. For instance, when you look at the listing for the tactical squad you can see that you must take a minimum of 4 tactical space marines and a maximum of 9 (not including the sergeant). An example squad would be: Tactical marines x5- 70 points. For clarification of how the stats of a unit affect gameplay WS= Weapons skill (how likely you are to hit in assault) BS= Ballistics skill (how accurate your shooting is) S= Strength (How many wounds/the likelyhood to wound) T= Toughness (A units ability to resist wounds) W= Number of wounds (How many hits a unit can take) I= Initiative (effects when a unit moves/fires/assaults) A= Number of attacks per round (fairly self explanatory) Ld= Leadership bonus (used for leadership tests) Sv= Armor save (used for ability to resist wounding)

The Back Room
I'd say go for it (the space marine codex is uploaded btw). If anyone else wants a codex, just ask.

The Back Room
Yeah, it's probably a good idea. On a side note, here's the main 5e rule book and the chaos daemons codex http://www.mediafire.com/file/ufi9puzb5uucu51/Chaos%20Daemons.pdf http://www.mediafire.com/file/9d4oipt1pt5s45c/Warhammer_40k_5th_Edition_Rulebook.pdf EDIT: Oh and @icu for your slaaneshi themed army I would advise to go heavy on the fast attack and elites and comparatively light on the troops. The only reason why I'm using so many bloodletters is that they each have a power sword so they are decent Hq/Elite killers. EDIT: Space Marine codex http://www.mediafire.com/?f6a5tv78ma27m7u

Wait, iefura do you have a computer yet, or are you still using the ps3?
-
The Back Room
Give me a second or two I'm uploading the core rulebook right now and then I'll get to the chaos daemons and the marines. EDIT: Do you want regular marines, space wolves or blood angels or any of the other variants that GW has produced (the regulars might be the easiest to learn though)

The Back Room
JUST AS PLANNED EDIT: The tau codex is up as of now http://www.mediafire.com/file/0d07fpw6wk5lr3n/Tau.pdf

The Back Room
Erm, lets see: There's always space marines (a decent codex that's new player friendly) orks (not the best codex but they're orks, you've got to love 'em) and possibly imperial guard (if you like throwing hordes of men to their certain death).
