Useful!?! Something tells me that those things could be used to destroy war elephants (large slowish target that gets hurt when a bolt/large rock is hit by it) as well as enough of them laying waste to formations of infantry (well shield walls).

Rocco if I could give some advice; Stock up with siege weapons along your borders (think ballista [i doubt catapults would be as effective for use against war elephants]) to be used against the war elephants. I have a feeling that the war elephants may just give a bit of a psychological advantage to the mongols and the persians.

How many rocco? Also how many of your unique units do you have nex? (as a side note the bulk of the mongol army will be slowed down slightly by these non cavalry reinforcements)

Ah well with the turn of the new decade I should be able to field 16-18,000 myrmidons (essentially nex's unique unit but slightly different [in armament and they have a [cabbage] load of weapons training]) So if we could (nex and myself using our unique units) catch them between the hammer and the anvil so to speak we could crush them.

EVEN WITH CRUISE CONTROL YOU STILL NEED TO STEER.

Wait.... would not elephants need a [cabbage] tonne of water and or food to survive? I would wager that 20,000 of them would not be able to be supported by the land either; so would it not make sense to use either nex's or my unique unit to stop 'em in their tracks by destroying the food supply for the beasts?
